I've downloaded & installed , ran the game everything seems to be fine but the audio when the characters speak. Music & background sounds are all ok, just no sound when the characters are talking. I have checked the options in the game & all is where it should be,also deleted & reinstalled, does anyone know what the problem might be?

can someone help!!! I downloaded and in stalled with no problem played through to case 3 and grissom and worick are standing in the office. when i try to go to the crime scene my computer restarts.
i have tried it several times with the same result. i even tried lowering the graphics. still the same.
any thoughts?????

try looking for new patches for the game, i think its ubisoft, give it a whirl, still d,loading, c'mon guys no fun without no seeds,
i remember how thrilled i was when i used to d,load something ang the d,load speed would be through the roof, its happening less and less

thanks uploader it works great, i used power iso and extracted the files to a folder on my desktop and ran the set up from there.

For the people with the Dll problem's. I had the same problem.
Download both files from the link's below.
MSVCR71.dll:

MSVCP71.Dll:
http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?msvcp71
Extract both files, then copy paste them into C:/Window's/System32
The game should then run, wait for it to patch and enjoy.

Download went great...thanks to all who seeded. I will continue seeding for the rest of the day. Now my ignorance kicks in.... not sure what to do. In the folder I downloaded to are 31 RAR files all labeled avd-csi4he there are 7 files R30 through R36 and finally 1 SFV file....now what do I do? PLEASE HELP!!!

Burned with nero, worked fine. Went to play and it and it'd dl a patch for game. Game works fine. Thanx to the uploader.

OK so heres the deal i mounted the iso with daemon tools and extracted the files and installed it that way and it works fine . BUT when you try and start the game you are asked to update the game from 1.00 to 1.01 and it trys to download a patch file. After a few attempts it connected and installed the file after the install i ran a scan on my computer with malwarebytes and found a infected file Registry Data Items Infected:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\scrfile\shell\open\command\ (Broken.OpenCommand) -> Bad: ("%1" %*) Good: ("%1" /S) -> Quarantined and deleted successfully.
after i repaired this the game would no longer start so i uninstalled the game and reinstalled the game and turned off the net connection so the update could not install and closed it with the x and the game started fine.AFTER that i ran malwarebytes again and found nothing so i guess its fine if you dont install the update patch you are asked to

cannot get game to play...
used comment #12 suggestions and #28...but still won't play...
i extract iso...
installed game...
double click shortcut to game and it asks for cd...
anyone know what to do?

update: where ever you install the game files (when you click setup) has to be the same drive where the extracted image files are located...
i was extracting the files on my backup drive d: (bigger drive) and installing them on my c: drive (very limited space right now)...
instead i installed to d: and then clicked the 'game app' icon after install...
although some of the files are not available when u install...
does anyone know how to fix that? they are not the dll files as stated in other comments...

The game is in '' French '' too and work perfectly ! This game is very cool and the sound is correct for me with vista ( no problem , no virus ) .

I Downloaded / Burned With PowerIso / Installed /Updated & Was Playing On This Game In 1 & A Half Hours.
AVG 8 Didnt Find Any Viruses & Its In ENGLISH.

What's the best resolution to play this game in? Every time I play, I only last about 30 minutes to 1 hour before I get laggy and the character's speech is out of sync. I know it's my graphic card but I was just wondering if changing the game's resolution will make it a bit better. Thanks.

Works well, burned the .iso with Nero onto dvd and installed. As mentioned, no cracks/keys needed.
