when i try to unpack it says that my hard drive is formated to NTFS and can't handle files more than 4 gb, anyone know a way around this besides reformatting my hard drive?

I found that the team fortress and portal didnt work at all on one of my computers but the HL2, ep1 and ep2 worked. I decieded to try it out on my lap top and HL2, ep1, ep2, Portal and Team Fortress2 Work PERFECTLY. I dont know why it wont work on my desktop but im sure its some thing on my end. Trust me this download is worth the wait and THANK you very much for the upload. Remember to seed. Anyone have any ideas on how to upload the bonus games?

I`m guessing it says u`re hard drive is NOT formated for NTFS and can only support.. bla..
Unfortunetly there is no way around this.. U`re partition is formated using FAT32.. u must reformat it and select NTFS mode.

actualy "Sinutzu" is not right, there i a way to convert your hdd in to NTFS without formating
in the command prompt type:
convert C: /fs:ntfs

games work fine, cant play online because of a nifty "Valve validation failed" error, im guessing this is because im trying to play a game online that is not registered to my steam account. anyways portal and HL2:E2 is the main reason I wanted this and they work fine.

Guys, my problem with this game is that towards the mid-point of EP2, i get the following error and the game crashes:
The instruction at "0x159c8f3f" referenced memory at "0x0e30f3c0". The memory could not be "read".
"Click on ok to terminate the progam"
Does anyone know what this is all about?
Or how to fix this?

I believe that does something to the source your server list or something, cuz after I did that I had a lot less serves come up than before I did that fix. Anyone know if that's the cause?
Well, after I got through that issue, I had 2 or 3 more that I also seemingly fixed as well, but now whenever I try to connect it's telling me that the map versions aren't the same as the server's, or the character lists aren't the same, and something similar that I forgot. I thought it might just be the locations of the map files weren't in the right place, so I had a friend send me a working copy of his map folder and it didn't help. Anyone know a possible fix to this problem? Thanks in advance...

I get it in a tunnel when you are running from the Big Antlion.

face the rite hand wall n crouch, keep facing wall and strife left till u get to big chamber, works fine this way 4 me and crashed everytime when i just walked straight down the corridor!

To ANYONE PLAYING ON VISTA:
When you want to play Portal, right-click the portal .exe and go to properties > Compatibility > Check "Run as Administrator", and "Run in compatibility mode for Windows XP"...It should work then.

Does anyone have the "jump/pov bug" on Episode 2?
While all other games play perfectly, on Episode 2 the point of view changes randomly up and down like little jumps. It can be quite annoying.

Xavis i have the same problem but i downloaded a separate EP2 torrent and it works perfectly, however i like this torrent because it contains all the games but i still havn't figured out the reason behind the jump bug !!!!! ideas anyone??

Do not waste your time downloading this. While I can play everything episode 2 has the jump bug which does NOT have any fix, at least no fix included here. This is very annoying and makes the game unplayable.

I don't know about episode two, but portal and vanilla HL2 worked fine for me, awesome release for the best FPS so far.

In case portal doesn't start (hangs before the menu). Sporadically clicking and hitting escape might solve the issue. And remember to save often... the game sometimes crashes when loading autosaves... repeatedly.
