This is the comment from the uploader:
"This is the latest Mac The Ripper, version r14i, released during Thanksgiving week of 2007. The author of Mac The Ripper now requires a serial code and the code is included in the RAR file. I hate to offer RAR files because they are usually used to disguise a file or require a password but this is a valid RAR file, no password is required to open it. Just unrar it.
Enjoy!"
I can't unlock it, since it DOES require a password ... what gives?

I don't get it. After extracting it's just 1 file called MacTheRipper_r14i_UB_ke.zip.bin, and there's no licence there too btw... This file asks to be burnt with my cd burner when double clicking. And renaming to .zip wont let it extract as it doesn't seem to be an archive.
did anyone figure it out ?

Ok renaming it from .zip.bin to .zip and using winrar on windows to extract the content into a folder worked. Then just copy that folder over and enter it manually to find the app, license file, and instructions

"mac4share"

Neither of these methods are working for me, the password is not mac4share and the renaming of the .bin file does not work either.

Well of course renaming the .bin file wont work if you couldn't extract it because of the wrong password..
The correct password is "mac4share.com" (without the quotes)
Extract, then under windows (maybe linux too), rename it to .zip, and use winrar to extract the contents. Browse through the new folder until you find the files (readme file, app, and license file)
Just copy them over to your mac (ftp, usb, whatever) and follow the instructions in the text file, which basically just says to copy the license file to the proper destination.
Works well here.

Actually this works beautifully almost as Xushi says.
First double click on the RAR file. You get some text error pop up, but simply go to the password and put in mac4share.com.
Then hit extract.
You'll get a share that ends in .zip.bin.
Do NOT remove the .bin and try to open - if you do you get all sorts of errors.
Simply double click and then that folder uncompresses to a regular folder with the application, license and instructions all included.
Then just put the license in your pref folder (as explained) click the app, and it all works very nicely.
Happy ripping

finally got this thing to work
similar to what the above person did but i renamed the .zip.bin file with a .rar extension and then unzipped it again.
do what the readme file says and BAM, there it is!!!

Instructions, they worked for me.
Unextract the rar file with Stuffit Archive Manager, using the rar option, select destination, then alter the .zip.bin to just .zip, then unstuff again using the above, but using the .zip extractor, you then get the application, read me file, and the licence preference file which should be put in the Users/Library/Preferences folder.
The just double click the application and play.
Good Luck.

This RAR file requires a passphrase
