i can only play half-life 2. when i click on any of the other games, it says "hl2 is not working." and closes. if anyone has any solutions for this, please email me at persiandud5@yahoo.com thanks

Guys, try to look for torrents where there is no .rar or .zip because usually people are a-holes and stuff trojans in there, you don't want that! Lolz. So i'm just giving you guys some advice and you just want the ISO ones where you like mount em' with PowerISO or Daemon Tools.

Hey I'm new but just curious why it has 92 files of the same size when I donwloaded it. Which one do I use to install the game? I just mounted the first ISO and installing now but wasn't sure if I needed the rest of them or if they were just junk. thanks

you realy need windows xp for this. With vista every game freezes and portal doesn't work. still there is a bug on the end of chapter 3 if you want to play the rest of the game you have to use this:
Unlock All Chapters
Modify your [install directory]\ep2\cfg\config.cfg file (with Notepad) and change sv_unlockedchapters to "7".

I ran Portal as Administrator and in compatibility mode for XP and it worked. But still freezes and has bugs.

playes just fine in vista.. not sure what peoples problems are 
maybe its a video card issue or somthing? im using a HIS HD 2600XT AGP 512MBDDR3.
1280x1024 maxed all games run fine. HL2:E2 has a few hiccups when moving to new areas and whatnot but no bugs or crashes.

try cleaning up your registry of anything that isn't installed- use CCleaner or something- (but BACK UP that registry before you go cleaning it).
Then update your directX and windows and all that, and defrag and then try it again ater restarting. Otherwise can't help ya- does your system meet the minimum requirements to run the game?

I've downloaded this torrent and while playing episode two I have a strange problem. Whenever I move the camera starts jumping up and down violently. Is there anyway to fix this?

i just wanna know if anyone had the same problem that i had... with episode 2
on the 2nd chapter, when you are alone, and you have to fight with a big monster bug, who try to kill you... and you have to hide yourself into a small tunels a lot of times.... after that running, cause of the bug, you find a door with some woods blocking it you just shoot, and get into it, the monster try to get you.. and it cant reach you and you are in like a pit and the monster break your floor and you find yourself into a tunel, just like the others and then when you are walking to get a medic kit... the game crash... out of the blue...
so.. does anyone know, how to fix it?

All 5 Games worked on my computer. Portal did not work at first than run that as administrator and it did work that all problem that i had.

Can somebody help me solve my problem? One about stuttering of a camera while moving. No not the graphical stutter, it's more like physics problem because sometimes when I move the camera starts to jump up and down, something like bunny-hopping!

on episode 2 i have the came camera problem. it seems like the game is registering a crouch command for about half a second. its like tapping ctrl when you walk. also at certain points in the game, like when alex talks to the dr. it crashes. i avoided this by running far enough away that the voices didnt play, and now at the part where you hear a weird noise and need to climb over a train to get to some warehouse, it freezes once i get on the roof and says. "instruction at '0x14398f3f' referenced memory at '0x0ef6f3fe0' memory could not be 'read' click ok to terminate hl2.exe" what the hell does that mean and how do i fix it. i tried reinstalling already. every other game, runs perfect.

Didn't work for me, maybe it will for you...took several days to DL but seemed OK when it was finally done (no corrupt files/ crc errors). Extracting went fine, installing seemed OK. First attempt to launch blacked out my display and locked up my PC, DL'd new drivers & tried various things, but after uninstalling/ reinstalling a few times I just gave up...nothing at all happens when I try to launch any of the games. Pretty disappointing.
