Thanks but,,,
Linux version continues to say "invalid or corrupted key file"
Do I need to do anything else except copying the patched library files ?

Its pre-activated. Windows(win32, WinXPsp3) version worked fine for me.

In order to get the Linux/Mac OS X versions to work, you need to install the Windows version first. Then copy the key file from the Windows version to the IDA directory for Linux/Mac OS X.

I have no idea what to do... 8 folders and a whole lotta nothing to tell me what to do.
I own a mac and desperately need to save my years of music collection from a stupid Lacie hard drive that wont open.
Someone got a list of what I need to do?

groovemike: have you read the nfo file?i don't think so. IDA IS A DECOMPILER. i know it's quite confusing "DataRescue..blahblah" but it does not rescue data from a hard drive
