This isn't working if you need to switch the install location to another partition. it says it takes 0 k to install and says theres not enough space on my drive when i have nearly 300 gig free. Not sure if its the same with all downloads of this.

LOL the Crack is in the '*'HATRED FOLDER'*' no need to search for an other Crack (Just copy the crack to C:\Program Files\fear....)!

For people with the "not enough space on **:\" problem, Wiiman posted this on rlslog.net;

if you get the “no free space to install error” you go START->RUN->write REGEDIT and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version . in the right side of this menu you will find “ProgramFilesDir”. modify it and instead of C: type a partition you want to install the game in (at least 7gigs required). After the game is installed, go back an change the ProgramFilesDir with the initial address.

I can confirm that this solves the problem

sorry it doesnt work i have 2.3 gb free space on c: and 10gb on d: but whenever i try to change the directory it says there is not enough space thing. someone please help i waited almost 2 days for this

Hey alive71 , do you have fat 32 set up on your comp. if so you need to switch to a ntfs, easy to do , look up on internet

This game will not work for me, along with any others i've tried.. It will start, go to the menu but then when i go to play my sys reboots... I am running vista ultimate on a intel dual-core 2.0GHz cpu, 2GBs DDR2 ram and a geforce fx 5200 gpu... i have the latest drivers for my gpu and vista is up-2-date!!! does anyone know why this is??? i'm tryin not to reinstall back to xp...

The game works perfectly on WinXP-SP2!!
You do not need the original FEAR to play this. Just get the serials above.
Perseus mandate is more light(fast) than Extraction Point. I play 800x600 with every graphics and effects on max (Dual-Core 3GHz 1GB RAM Geforce7 256MB).

Ok. I did Everything I was suppose to (I think). I mean, I downloaded the original FEAR as well as its first expansion (Extraction Point), but I can't seem to get passed the opening of this game. Every time the dialogue ends and I'm about to play, windows shuts the game down and an error message goes up. I copied the crack and everything.

Can anyone please help me?

Well, I can confirm that the above fix with the registry editor doesn't work in certain cases. I went ahead and did all that, and it STILL checks my C drive (where I have about... 500 MB of free space). Well, I'll be editing the .msi file directly, then... Darn.

Hmm, I am using Flashget and it's been going at an average of about 100kb/s for around 9 hours and it's at 0-6% completed and at the bottom it says that 3.2 GB out of 3.8 GB is downloaded.......

works perfectly for me.
some people get an error "no space on disk" when trying to install somewhere else (not in C: ).
sound is corrupted with my soundblaster after a few minutes of playing, but it works great with my integrated VIA soundcard.

FEARXP2 is the crack, correct? well i extracted that to C:\Program Files\FEAR Perseus Mandate and it asked to replace it with the original and i said yes. i double click and it says unable to load game resources. i know i did something REALLY stupid so....help?

No need to do all that, just select the partition you want to install the game on and click install, even if it says 0 space free it will still install on the desired partition.
I know this works as I have just installed it myself to my F drive and it told me the same thing, 0 space but still installed

well it doesnt work for me. i have the paid version of fear gold working which i bought twice (first one didnt work and i never got a refund it). worked from a different store though. so now due to waisting £19.99 id like to have this persesus mandate for free lol but cannot get it working.

i unpack the archive using winrar, i then install the game in D:\fear_pm using the serial# from near the top of this page, i then overwritten the FEARXP2 with the cracked one, restarted pc

game loaded fine, choose single-player and that movie starts to play but then game just crashes

the error signature is this:

AppName: fearxp2.exe AppVer: 1.0.4847.0 ModName: d3d9.dll
ModVer: 5.3.2600.5512 Offset: 000f7e
