I downloaded and installed the game succesfully, but don't know why it won't play.
Already rebooted my pc but it still won't run

HaHa. Ok i'm glad you said that, I just did all that and it's making me pull my hair out that i can't get it to work. so it's not just me. Oh well, that was a 2 day download wasted. I'll try another one i guess.
So for anyone looking for info on this one, that's 2 confirmed issues of this not booting. I'd avoid downloading this.

Jookycola, I figured out your problem and mine as well. After you install the game. You must copy the files located in the CRACK folder. After you copy them, paste them in the directory in which you installed the game, usually it will be: C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Need For Speed ProStreet. It will ask if you want to replace the files, click yes, and use the new file to play the game. I've got it working now!!!

Ok people, since nobody else wants to answer this question I will.
I had the problem where it said "Insert CD/DVD for Need For Speed into Drive whatever" when I was using PowerISO to mount the image. If you have the same problem, do what I did and use Daemon to mount it instead.

i finally got it installing on poweriso click on autorun.exe n run it on its own otherwise it will extract all the files which u dnt need.. also u have a keygen in the crack folder if u use tht it will create the key u need 2 use so u can continue the insallation.. so far its is taking a god awful tym to download.. so hopefully the blood no cd/dvd crack works or im gonna go mad lol

first : you need to download a virtual cd tool..
powerISO would do or Virtual CD..
you should be the one to find out how to use it..
second: mount the need for speed ISO to a virtual drive then install..
third : if there's a crack, copy it too..

Torrents for dummys (like me) 
-unpack (by clicking on DL'd file) and mount (by clicking on "Mount" in PowerISO)to virtual (make believe) drive with PowerISO
mine used {k}
now the game thinks you have the game disc in your cd drive {x} that isnt really there, so dont search around your cpu for a new drive
if you can see the files inside NFS Pro Street Reloaded, it is unpacked
extract files to Program Files and open the new NFS folder and start install
it will ask for key that appears on the back of the game package, you do have it, dont you? lol
open the 2nd file in CRACK (that ISNT the "nfs exe" file) a small window will open, click "generate" and copy the mess of digits that appear into the install window. there, you just proved that you bought the game from Wal Mart. (and yer done with the Keygen)
finish install..

dont bother running game, it will ask for the "real disc" (90% of people's problems here)
now, back to PowerISO (which you can DL from this site)
open the Crack file thats within PowerISO, you will see the two files mentioned above (nfs.exe & the KeyGen)
extract Crack folder to the installed nfs folder which is prob in program files
with the installed nfs folder open, open the newly placed (extracted) Crack folder in seperate window.
right click and copy nfs.exe (in the Crack folder) move your mouse around until your arrow is inside the installed nfs folder window, there will be lots of folders/ files in here. put yer arrow in an open space within the window and right click and paste.

Yep ... download Deamon from site ... free software but I found it hard to find on their site ... right click on taskbar icon ... go to virtual CD/DVD-ROM ; pick device (you can choose device letter) ; mount image ; find ISO and open .. Not being an expert but apparently this makes the PC believe it has a disc in a drive (note the Drive letter that actually dosn't exist ... Hope that helps.
The rest follow L-Bo-The-D-A's intsructions. The Ken-Gen is in the crack folder in the virtual drive.

To Install your favorite ILLEGAL GAME:
1. Find the torrent of your choice and download
2. Unrar all .rar files (click and drag until all are highlighted then right click "unrar here"
3. Now go to Daemon Tools right click, "Virtual CD/DVD Rom/Device 0:/ Mount Image" then locate the file you just unrar'ed "whatever.ISO" and click mount.
4. Follow all prompts to install then unmount the iso from Daemon Tools.
5. Locate the "crack" folder (whatever it's called for the specific torrent) right click the cracked .exe and click "cut"
6. Locate the game folder your new illegal game was installed to for example C:/Program Files/EA Games/Need for speed... and paste the cracked .exe into that folder
7. Re-mount the supplied .ISO file with Daemon Tools, double click the desktop icon for your new game and ENJOY!!!!

Just a little FYI that last step-by-step approach I gave you is not specific to this title but more of a "guide-line" for installing most games out there. Games that require a "serial" mid-installation will require you to have a keygen in which case it will be included with the download. Just stop at step 4, input a key that works and BAM, you're in there like swim wear. now just continue from step 5 on my guide and you'll be good. If you need a more step by step approach on how to burn a title to DVD so you can install it on different machines or are having a problem send me a PM

-NEARLY EVERY GAME will have a crack on one of the mounted images to avoid CD errors and all other problems with starting the program. You rarely have to burn any actual disk when using daemon toolz. Just open up your "My Computer," right click on the imaged CD that daemon mounted virtualy, click open, then look at the included folders until you come across a folder called "crack" "fix" or a folder with the name of the cracking company such as Razor911, IPtorrents, Reloaded, etc. The crack and a readme file should be in there explaining everything I am now... which you probably didn't read seeing as you're all asking redundant and already-answered questions.

-To use the crack, almost every time you are simply replacing the crack file with the uncracked .exe file that was installed where the game is in your my programs folder, this tricks the game into thinking the cd is already in there and all the work is done for you. The cracked file will usually always have the same name as the .exe you need to replace already so don't worry about re-naming it.
-CD Keys can usually be found in the same crack folder as the fixed .exe on the image disk you mounted in deamon toolz via a text file, or the readme file, sometimes they have a generator that will make a random working cd key for you
-DON'T EXPECT TO PLAY CRACKED GAMES ONLINE! You will waste your time in trying to figure out how to do this, and it's usually impossible without a genuine, boughten CD key. If you want to play the game online, then BUY it!

-Avoid patching the game if you can. If you patch the game, your old cracked .exe will not be current for it and thus the game will stop working without the CD in. If you have to patch a game to play it or it won't run without a new patch version, then go to a site with a name like gamecopyworld.com or something (just an example) and find the correct no-cd for the corrisponding patch. This will let you play the game without using your current legit CD
-All other questions you may have are easily answered with common computer knowledge and common sense... I hope this will answer questions you have, and make you less apt to repeat the same ones over and over. Game programmers have little lives outside of 6, 12 hour days of work to spend with family or for fun during game production, and not getting adequate aknowledgement and pay for time spent is downright evil. Companies like EA are what we are trying to avoid, they release one good game, then do the same thing with it over and over, they have so much money already that they have no need to be innovative. That my friends, is the type of company to avoid throwing your money at if any. The only big player that has thier stuff together is Blizzard, they release few games, but all original and awsome. It's a thin line between right and wrong in the war against piracy; so like politics, do your research and decide for yourself who you want to fund and support.

ok ya this game is HORRIBLE anyways, not worth the time or effort. I would never pay money for another excrement blown out of ea's rear completely unworthy of replication like this game. They really dropped the ball yet again on this extended title release. I only enjoyed most wanted and maybe the second underground where they actually tried to avoid putting the same boring cars they have in every title in the game. Take a hike EA, and leave the racing sims up to the people that will spend quality time and thought into not just copy-pasting code into your software and renaming the thing. If you're wondering if this is worth your time, the answer is: Only if you REALLY love NFS and won't mind the same stuff from every other game with a horrible feel and worse 'fast and the furious' street slang than every previous title. Or in otherwords, don't bother.

how much is the game size. like if its under 4.7bg i can burn it. is not, i can't. Becose i download pro street on anothers torrent and it was 4.68gb on mininova... but it was 4.9gbwhen it finished downloadig...

i installed the game with a pirated dvd...it has the same size as the torrents,,,but i got the same problem with number 9 here...the game crash as i double click the icon,,,i tried to follow their instruction which is to copy the files located on the crack folder but the only file on the crack folder of my dvd is the cd key gen...i dont see an nfs.exe file on that folder...please upload the nfs.exe you used to play the game,,,or send it to me here,,

My problem is when I start the NFS-ProStreet game. Some Race-Day was play fine like 1st,2nd & 3rd Race-Day but Some of Race-Day like 1st Showdown was not run properly & the game was automatically close & show me this massage. Please click this the massage was show:

i've been doing this for weeks...still cant play this game...no one seems to answer my every post...oh, please help me,,,,,
i've read some post and someone post that i have to copy the cracked nfs.exe on the crack folder,,,but i dont see anything in the crack folder except for the keygen,,,i tried every gamefix that i see and no one seems to work,,,please ,,,i really really need your help guys,,,please post the download link of the crack folder that you are mentioning,,,that contains of course the said proper cracked nfs exe and keygen...thanks a lot...

juyst downloaded and installed without any problems, topp dl speed btw, took me only 6 hours to download. oh yeah crack works and anything, BUT!
is this game like most wanted and the underground games where u can drive around and have fun??? i cant seem to find that.... and that careae thing really ****s... so is it like most wanted if i get further or is it only boring nfs hot pursuit races?

dear ally the game works fine you can download it and some peaople said nfs.exe file is a virus but its not other file in crack folder has virus.dont run it thats all.and i can say that the virus has low risk.

I got this massege when I'm running the game the application has failed because d3dx9_34.dll not found.Re-installing the application may fix the problem!PLEASE HELP ME

First make sure that your graphic card has pixel shader 2.0...i downloaded for nothing
