Guys You don't need CRACK!!!
Simply copy game from disk image to your HD and leave it mounted.
Runs great on my Macbook

You do need a crack, even with the image still mounted it won't work.
Does anybody have a crack ?

Tried mounting it with with Toast and burning it to a DVD-disc, none of them works. It still asks for the gamedisc.
So would someone please up a crack for OS X Leopard?

Works perfect for me! CHEERS to uploader! 
I downloaded it in a few hours, like 8 hours or something.
I mounted the file with Toast and istalled, dragged to Applications folder, but it didn't work, my macbook asked for original DVD.
So the first thing you do:
1. Delete AoE III from your computer!
2. Burn AoE III to an DVD! You have to burn the MOUNTED FILE! Not the downloaded file!
3. Install AoE III from DVD and in the APPLICATIONS FOLDER!!
4. Don't remove the DVD cause he can't play without!
5. Start the game with the AoEIII application from HDD, not from DVD!
6. Enjoy playing!

I tryed just opening the disk image and keeping it there to run it but it didn't worked for me,. I don't have any dvd's right now but i'll try Jasperr's way, it should work

hey, i tried patogarza 's patch ^^ downloaded it and sucessfully patched it into the game application and tried it once more and got the same exact thing. 
any help out there? did i download the crack and put it in the right place?

i tried the patch...JUST in case it worked with leopard...but no
can SOMEONE please explain how to get this to work, or i might as well just stop seeding this.

Hi! I'm on Leopard and it did worked for me
first of all you must follow those instructions(thank you to Jpjones for posting this on the civ 4 torrent)
To get the cracks/patches working on leopard (same procedure on both patches):
Copy the patch from the .dmg to your harddrive so they can be modified
Download the latest iPatch (3.7.1) from ipatch.org
Rightclick on patch, choose "Show package contents", locate the file "Contents/MacOS/iPatcher" (208 K)
Mount iPatch dmg, rightclick iPatch app, choose "Show package contents"
Locate "Contents/Resources/iPatcher" (448 K), rightclick it and choose "Show package contents"
Locate "Contents/MacOS/iPatcher" (212 K)
Replace the file "iPatcher" (208 K) in the patch with "iPatcher" (212 K).
then you just need to open it the crack with rosetta

LIAR! i got leopard 10.5.1 and it works well on leopard!!!

works fine for me on leopard with the above crack
what i did
- run the toast file, so you can view the installer, do as it says and drag into applications stack/folder/whatever
- open crack
- find your aoe file in applications and use that
- run crack, should work successfully
anything to do with graphics compatibility as basic as the graphics card gets is on a macbook and thats what im on and seems all fine to me

etienne02: - That technique worked fine for me up until I had to place the iPatcher from my desktop into the directory to replace the existing iPatcher. It refuses to move it stating that it can't be replaced and that the Mac OS can't be modified.

does anyone have the patch or crack for aoe 1.0.3? its telling me i need the cd to work but when i had version 1.0 it was working fine i updated so i can play online now im stuck again
