be very carefull whith system mechanic good program to begin whith i own legit version till 3 days ago they sent an inoccent enough looking update offering to upgrade me to there next version 7.5 or something the second i allowed the upgrade it crippled my desctop and laptop sending them to a crawl. tried restarting my desctop to find it switching off my antivirus and sending me to the US reg mechanic web site to purchase there antivirus sweet which i was mad about it im happy whith kaspersky. it seemed like a blatent attempt to make you buy there antivirus sweet.The update came whith generic trogen the only way i restored order was to back up a day and refuse the update.

I already had the latest version installed on my pc using a trial status so all I used was the serial which worked! Thank you!
And like shikamaru84, I also wish to know whether or not this program can be updated using this serial.

My Outpost Security Suite Pro warned me for a malware during installation, and deleted it.
But I allowed installation, and program works well.

This is an update to my prior post #16...
For the past day, System Mechanic has been bugging me to update to ver 7.5.4 so I decided to give it a shot and the serial is still working 100%.
This is a very nice program. My PC has been running much better since I've installed SM. Thanks again to the uploader!

man, this pass inst working anymore...my program installed sucessfully, but for only 2 days
at the third day I coundt get to opne it anymore cause it was blocked...is there anyway to override online checking for this version?

2 options i have for everybody:
1 uninstall when you are finished repairing and dont update.so that you can repeat the process every time you think your pc is not running smooth.
2 Buy a genuine system mechanic

Can anyone tell me how to delete this app. I downloaded it and worked perfectly until it prompted me to reboot. After that it my nod32 detected a
Trojan, but that's OK cause most anti virus will detect these codes as a virus, but i wanted to start over and it wont let me delete the original files. can someone point me in the right direction?
