i wonder if people ever read info or txt to the very last word anymore lol because once you use lets say daemon tools its only to install the game you never need the tools again as all you do after you install is copy the patch and your done easy as pie

softy you then explore the iso or cd(if you burned it) and find the patch in the zip file and copy it to the C:\Program Files\Hasbro\Monopoly by Parker Brothers and over write the other one when it asks click yes and your done and playing and life is good lol

this is realli not worth the dwnload i burned it on to cd with nero and whn i came to put cd in n tried to open the install file it wud not let me open it all these files are corrupt and i complete waste of time

One thing Slick, sometimes you will still have to have the ISO mounted with Daemon tools to play the game. Some games require the cd to be inserted in the drive in which case they would have to have the iso still loaded. other than that it's their fault if they didn't take the time to read the damn readme.txt he didn't put it in there for his health it's there to help you nubs. yes well just saying for this one it has the no cd fix so you will never need it mounted for this game after its installed and i just burn it anyways because for one thing i now have a backup copy and everything i need is in the iso so why not burn it and install and then store somewhere because a computer can always crack but a cd can last for years if protected

just burn the cd with nero just open nero when the menu comes up click cancel then go up to ecorder and down to burn image and then direct to where the image file is burn and install and under patch extract and copy to the installed directory in hasbro in program files and copy over other exe and your done

For people that dont know, you need Daemon Tools to mount the file and also an unzipping programme (I used WinRar) and once the files are installed, go to the original download and extract the ISO Image file named monopoly2008, the no cd crack is in there...

i just say why get other stuff when all you really need to do is burn the image stick in the cd and install and then open my computer and then right click on your cd rom and explore it and find the No cd patch folder and in side extract the file and copy it to where the monopoly folder was installed
to which is C:\Program Files\Hasbro\Monopoly by Parker Brothers
and put the no cd file in there after extracted and it will ask to copy over and your done and no need for cd in your computer or daemon tools or anything because a cd is like 25cents and then its backed up its just easier if you don't know what your doing ok have a good one and play hard

Thanks Slickinator! Both for uploading the game and your helpful walkthrough. You're right; the CD patch is in the download and had no problem installing it using Power ISO.

Something wrong with the crack or the game. Size of "Monopoly.log" in game folder keep bigger every time I'm playing.. I played the game for 2 hours and now that filesize is ~200M!!

200m umm it says 200kb my friend and nick did you install it at all? once you install it you then copy over the crack file over to the install folder after you extract the crack out of the zip file
and like i said before best thing to do to make it ten times easier is just burn the iso if you don't know how to use a iso program just open nero and burn image or double click the iso file and then nero should open or if your iso program does just click on the burn option it will save time if you ask me and then you have a back up also

ok guys it will sound dumb.. but i downloaded monopoly 2008 (may be some diff torrent from mininova) and found the installation file to be 20 mb and installation took less than 15 seconds... so why is the download size so big like 200 mb... i found out this thing after downloading.. any suggestions..

also i will suggest u to play monopoly tycoon.. it is way cooler than any other tycoon i have ever played... to be very frank.. although it is very small and basic game it is one of the better entertaining games ever played.. u will find monopoly tycoon way better than board tycoon.. trust me.. download it from this site only... it has got some probs with vista.. read the comments and there the solution for vista is given... other os .. works fine

well the differences with this copy and other one is this was a full cd rip when the other is just a game rip might have exactly the same stuff this one might have a big dummy file (dummy files are usually used to push the game to the out side of the disc when burning for it to play faster as the out part of a cd spins faster than the inner part and also it is used to show its an original cd incase of needing the disc in all the time which this one has the fix so it does not matter ) so theres your answer for that but all in all its a great no matter what size they both work

there is not a trojan most keygens or patchs are called viruses from scanners because companies give info to make it that way to stop pirating trust me its fine but as always its your choice and if a scan shows a trojan i bet it will say generic meaning its not a real trojan

Seriously.. some of you people really need to educate yourselves on the methods involved in unpacking, cracking/registering, and running these types of programs before you decide to post about things being wrong with programs that work fine. Be polite and take the time to learn what you're doing before you bring others into your confusion.. or simply ask how things are done before announcing there is a problem with the package when the problem is your lack of knowledge.
By the way... I would recommend "power archiver" for any unpacking of compressed files... it handles all types and will prove to be very useful... trust me.

Burn game with MagicIso or Daemon
Install game
Go to area where game was installed (c:\Programfile...) and completely remove the Exe. for Monopoly and replace it with the Exe. in the Crack provided in the "crack Envelope.
After you have done this, you could start playing the game immediately. Just follow the directions.

I created a username on this site just to comment on how well this download worked!!
This download maxed my download speed at 180 KB/s!
After downloading I just mounted the iso with MagicDisc, installed, copied the included no-cd crack off the mounted iso over the installed monopolyPb.exe and worked like a charm!
I noticed someone complaining about the windowed mode not working, must be a problem with their computer because it works perfectly.

Jesus, there are so many people who download material illegally and yet they have absolutely no idea what to do with the files they are downloading. Ive never seen so many comments for a torrent that is relatively simple to install.

Mount using any CD Image mounting software
Install game
Browse the Image or CD to find the crack folder
Copy crack over to installation folder

ok I downloaded it and used magic ISO and got a file with a disc icon when I click on it it takes me to magic ISO where it has no cd patch the directory and some other things. I understand that I have to put the no cd patch into the directory but when I right click it, it wont let me copy. how do I get the patch to the directory is what I need to know.

alright ive worked on it and I figured out what I did wrong and I was able to get the program folder witht eh install and crack but now it wont let me install it. Did anyone notice that there is a trojan with this iso?
The trojan installs a randomly named file in c:\windows\system32. It also backup itself.
Check to see if you have weirdly named files on the day you installed the game.

I have given up on this one. I have read all the comments and have deleted this and downloaded it again. I've tried to do it for two days. I do what is said and I get nowhere. I also would appreciate it if someone didn't have to make a nasty remark.

ok best easiest way to do it is burn the iso in to the cd then after you use it to install the game go to my computer then Right click on the cd drive that has the cd still in it and when the little menu popped up click down to explore and then look for the crack which you will need winzip or winrar to extract the compressed monopoly.exe file and you then go to my computer then to c:/ and then to program files and then find monopoly folder and copy that monopoly.exe file that you extracted from the patch cracked area to the folder and copy over the other one in there when it asks do u want to copy over the monopolypb.exe file u say yes and then your done close everything off and start the game enjoy

Can I say, I found this dead easy to do. I did get a little confused thinking I may have to download this Daemon Tool thing everyone was talking about, but I quickly figured out WinRAR does the exact same thing (well, the thing I needed it to do in this instance).
The crack was so simple to find, as you stated in the info txt.
I have not played the game yet, but I have no hesitation in recommending this torrent, as it worked so easily!!

yeah it works fine most patches are seen as a trojan when they are NOT its fine i have had it on my computer for a while and monitor any connections and nothing has come of it

well try and extract the file on your desktop and then go and copy over the file where it needs to go best is winrar just click on it and extract to desktop or even copy the zipped file too the desktop and click extract here and then carry on and make sure that the game is not playing or it will not copy over if file is in use

This **** has a trojan in it!!!!

Slickanater, grow up, I have an Associates in Computer Science and my CCNA. I spent 4K building my new desktop in 2008 and never had an issue until I installed monopoly. It may have been a different torrent, if so Im sorry, I should have checked it before installing but with so many comments I slacked, that will never happen again. I usually crack my own software but whatever.

People Please, this is so easy to install just follow the instructions. Easy as 1 2 3!. People you don`t have to burn to cd just open it with power iso like i did extract the files to maybe downloads. install the program, uncheck the first option of the 3 you know to load the game. now just exit. Go to where you install the program and erase the monopoly logo u know with the litle face and replace it with the given one by the uploader refresh in there, close all of that and start the game. am Playing right now works perfect. Thank you so much uploader perfect work and 1000% clean

so then I'm blind. when I downloaded this, there was no crack in the file. Went through that long process of downloading that LucyLovesMusic put in.... and nothing. Never does it ask me if I want to rewrite the file, just puts a new .exe file in there. any other ideas?

the crack file has to be extracted from my zip file (no cd patch) and put where you installed the monopoly = C:\Program Files\Hasbro\Monopoly by Parker Brothers
see where i mean and it will ask when you try and put the same cracked exe file in to that folder and say copy over and say yes the crack file will look like this MonopolyPB.exe which is the exact file name as the installed monopoly in the C:\Program Files\Hasbro\Monopoly by Parker Brothers folder so enjoy and hope you get it too work

its having a 18 MB game set up file and 8 MB cracked file.
and one folder (180 MB sized) no use at all.
That Folder named as padding and 3 files in it.

SocialMoth was right about people who are having trouble copying over the original file. I deleted the original monopolyPB.exe and then exchanged it with the No CD Patch. This is handy for people using windows vista. make sure you are the administrator.

ok, I had troubles to install this thing...
just overright didn't work.
FIRST OF ALL, you will need a program to read the ISO file, like DAEMON TOOLS or MAGIC ISO.
once you use the ISO reader, it will open the Install Window. Install it.
Then, if you try to play and it works, great.
But if some error window appears, like ''put the original Monopoly CD'' or whatever else, follow the next steps described below:
