ok.... when your download has finished depending on what systen your running if its windows search google for Alcohol 120% go to that site and download the program install it then when its done click open go to the sims 2 file then u will see 1 document open that and burn it to DVD then when its done put the disc back in and install

i did what you wrote but i can't use it.. i'm italian and i use windows vista (that is terrible!) and it tells me there is a problem of compability with vista and i have to go to the site of maxis and install a pack but i can't find nothing so please help me i don't want to buy it!

How can you JUST mount this and NOT BURN. I have tried Magic ISO, Alcohol 52%, and Daemon and none of them run the files included with this file. Specifically the Sims 2 game files.

I have mounted all the files and installed all the expansion packs... But every time that I try and run it, it says that I need Bon Voyage cd. I have tried mounting it but it won't recognise... What do i do?

i have a slow internet conection(30kb/s ) and i can't just wait and see what happends...pls tell me,it works ok with windows xp???is it all just about mounting it and installing?(i'm used to this type of installing games )

ANDY_CHIRTESH: This download has everything with it. All expansions and cd keys etc... Everything installed fine on my Win XP. I am having trouble running the game, but it's probably something I am doing wronge.
Has anyone actually gotten it to work??? I installed it fine with Daemon tools, but can't run it.... If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it. Thanks!

look,so,i finished downloading the "sims 2 pets" expansion, and when i install it, it creates a new folder...
it means that EVERY expansion will do that?so will i ever be able to play with all the expansions at once???
pls tell me!

I'm at 51.2%, And for those who are wondering, I think this is English. I attempted to run one of the install files and the error message (because its not complete) was in English. I will seed this for a while when i'm done.

Language:
The main "The Sims 2" Game is English and Spanish only. One or 2 of the expansion packs have about 15 different languages.
Nightlife Key:
For those of you who can't get the code for Nightlife to work, heres a few.

Install Problem:
If at any time the install gets stuck on the file "control1.dat", try using a different emulator.
Installing Cracks:
Most of the expansions have a crack in the same folders as the images besides the university expansion (I don't know why). Just goto program files/EA Games/The Sims 2 ********/TSBin and replace the file with the crack. For example. For the Sims 2 Nightlife, you would install the expansion, then open the folder with the CD images along with Program Files/EA Games/The Sims 2 Nightlife/TSBin, and replace "SIMS2EP2" with the crack.

I've done everything in the above comments to play the original
" the sims 2 ". When I click the game to start it, error message reads:
"Cannot Locate CD-ROM", "please insert the correct CD-ROM,
select OK and restart application".

PART 1:
Get Alcohol 120. Got mine here: http://www.mininova.org/tor/153535. Its got a Trojan. Make sure ur anti virus is on. Just keep clicking "Next", "I Agree", its not in Dutch forever. Click Alcohol 120 icon from ur desktop. Then click Serial Key. Write down. Click Setup. Enter key just like it appears. Apparently, the key is cAsE sEnSiTiVe, and don't 4get dashes or it won't work! Now reclick Alcohol120 icon on ur desktop. Select ur dvd burner at bottom. Click "Image Burning Wizard" at top left. Put blank dvd in. Click "browse", find "The Sims 2 Complete Edition" folder, select, open, find "01 The Sims 2". Click. Select "The Sims 2.MDS". Click. Click "next". Click "start". BURN IT!

PART 2:
When its done burning, go to "My Computer", you should see "Sims 2" icon. Double click. Put in key.NOW, expansion packs: open Alcohol 120 again. U should see "virtual cd/dvd rom" in the bottom window.Double click, and then right click it.Select "Mount Image". Find the expansion pack you want to install. Click "open". DONT CLOSE ALCOHOL 120. If the expansion has 2 discs, (ccd & mds), go ahead and mount them all. NOW go to "My Computer" again. You will see that expansion pack icon there! Double click that icon to install & enter key!! If it says "insert disc 2", etc., just go back over to Alcohol 120, make sure the requested disc is highlighted, click "OK". It CAN take you a few times clicking it before it reads.Now it's going to ask u to put The Sims 2 disc back in.REPEAT for EACH expansion pack.
