Looks great guys. Video 9/10 audio 9/10. This is by far the best. Really really close to a DVD Rip. Doesnt seem to be out of sync. Merry Christmas to all who have been looking forward to seeing this movie. YAY!! Enjoy bragging to your friends that you have this movie already!

The cropping may be from the "property of so and so" at the bottom. havent downloaded this so cant be sure. I wish people wouldnt crop out stuff like that.

Generally good reviews on VCDQuality.com
Looks like this is the one to get until an R5 comes along
20.Posted by Bapzimus on Dec 21 2007 at 06:55
Trust me. Im an honest guy. This is the best to get and definately watchable. Its not dvd quality but its up there. You'll be satisfied if you download it. Just extract one of the files with winrar and it will be viewable.

22.Posted by lehner on Dec 21 2007 at 07:17
Im new at this can anyone explain to me how to actually watch this every file is around 14 mb and theres a ton of stuff to exstract what do i do ?
23.Posted by fatlabrador on Dec 21 2007 at 07:39
I am frustrated that not one uploader uploads the subs. I can't find the english subs on subscene.com or opensubtitles.com. Please let me know where I can find the subs for this movie.
@lehner - Install winrar. Then right click on the first rar file & click "extract here" or to any location you want. The rest of the rar files will get extracted autmatically.

This is very good quality but some of the dark scenes are alittle pixelated what I burned to DVD, because of that fact I rate V-7 and A-8 very watchable none the less!!! I will seed through the night!

Hi,
First post here excellent site. It seems to be taking forever to download. I'm at 0.4% in 20 minutes with 3 seeds out of 258. Any advive how to speed up please?
33.Posted by AncientEvil on Dec 21 2007 at 15:19
Dankman420 I also prefer utorrent. It is easy to tweak settings as well. You can google it or go to utube to see how to tweak settings, it is also a good idea to take not of original settings should you feel you need to revert back.

You're f=cking up the balance of seeders and leachers.
400 seeders and 2,000 leachers, now what kinda sh=t is that?

Good quality, and in sync.
I don't really know what those ratings in comments are based on, but this is not as good as dvdr (close though) but not even close to HD like 720p.. so with that in mind, I'd say quality for both video and audio is 7.
39.Posted by Xathian on Dec 21 2007 at 19:30
Arieh, I dont know if you were trying to sound intelligent with your "but not even close to HD like 720p" comment, but either way you look asinine. It claims to be a DVD Rip, that means 480i, 720x480 resolution, 720p is 1280x720, no movie is encoded in that, maybe your DVD P{layer or Xbox 360 or whatever you use is set up 720p but its only upscaling to that, the DVD is still encoded at 480i, and even if this was an HDDVD or Blu-ray rip, it would be 1080p then.
40.Posted by Arieh on Dec 21 2007 at 20:25
Well thank you for your unnecessary attack on me Xathian, I just wanted to give my rating on the quality.. I do not really care about the HD formats. Most movies in HD around here have 720p in the name so that's why I'm using it and I bet everyone knows what I mean when saying it.
I'm saying 'not even close to', because I see in the comments here that people are giving a 9 to the video quality. But the thing is DVDR is better quality, and HD is better quality so that wouldn't work out with a max rating of the number 10..
And I'm not gonna put some Definitions of terms in all of my comments, I'm not saying something that doesn't make any sense. Everyone knows what I mean.

I agree on alot of people dont know how to rate A/V, people see cam jobs and as soon as something with VHS quality comes out it is 10/10 WTF? We need a real rating system for this site...something like Blueray or HD 10/10 and DVDrip 8/8, VHS 6 or 7 cam 5 and under!
We also need to get a group of qualified downloaders who would know how to use the ranking system.
I take back my audio rank of 8 and give it a 7, it sounds good but it is 2ch not 5.1 and my video ranking stands the same at 7...the bright scenes was pretty crisp and clear as good as it gets for a VHS quality but the dark scenes had some pixilation when I burned it to dvd and watched it on my 65" TV. It was still watchable but not DVD quality. Not even VHS quality in the dark scenes but I think it was caused from compressing the movie and not the format it's self but if it was any worse I would have shut it off and waited for a real dvd rip a 4.7GB ISO version.

I wish people would learn that you cannot simply convert from NTSC to PAL framerate by removing every sixth frame. I prefer blending the frames using AviSynth or similar, resulting in a smooth 25fps

Hey guys can you help out a newbie. Usually my DL's take 3-4 hours but this one is taking ages.
Anyone tell me how long it should take...probably a dumb question but we all got to start somewhere.
