VLC says unrecognized file format...what to do with RO file types? I tired to zip them to no avail...
It is English for I can play the one rar file there is, but that is only the intro...

just preveiwed it m8 video is excellent 9/10 sound is excellent 9/10 my only problem is that its subtitled in english most of the way thro. dont know if the release in the uk is in english but other than that its fine

Good Quality VERY watchable only thing against it is that most of the film is with English subtitles.

AMAZING quality, looks just like a dvd rip, and evreything is in sync for me
there's subtitles because its considered a foreign film since most of it is in arabic, still a beautiful movie, and also beautiful quality. thanks a lot!!!!!
PS: for those who are REALLY picky, i have seen a couple times where itll pop up and say that its for awards consideration only at the bottom but that doesnt stick around for long, just in case

IT IS NOT ARABIC!!!!!! The language spoken thrughout ost is one of two spoken in Afghanistan called Dari,(the part in the stadium is the only part where the other language spoken in Afghanistan is used called Pashto) Dari is very similar to what is spoken in Iran(Farsi). It has a few similarites to Arabic such as the same alphabet but the languages are ocmpletely different.
Btw it is a very good film 9.5/10 I saw it in a UK theatre and it had english subs. neverteless i understand Dari so it doesnt bother me

i still cant get it! 
i tried azureus, utorrent but even though im now not dowloading any other thing and only seeding i still get the messege: access dinied, you are only allowed to seed not to leech.
does anyone knows about it?

I just saw the trailer, and now I couldn't wait to watch the all film right then and there. It's look like its going to be a the biggest "tear jercker" yet.
That will suit me just fine, I need the excuse to have a good try and let it all out....

it doesnt show much of today, i dont think the scenes that are supposed to be today are shot in kabul, there is nothing that i could recognize kabul from. anyway really nice but sad film. if you have trouble downloading check the link i posted earlier, there is a thread in the mininova froum. there were a lot of seeds when i added the tracker recommended. have fun watching!

No way this is a DVD screener: more like an exceptional cam (no heads, whispering and no cropping but focus isnt quite crisp enough to be DVD screener and audio doesnt have enough "presence". Video8.5/Audio8.5 Not perfect but MUCH better than the 1.2GB version.

This is foreign film so no, it is NOT in english. BUT, the subtitles are very readable in the avi in this torrent (they are encoded into the avi)

Well, the movie is perfect (I've already watched it in the theaters and I needed to watch it again).
But... this copy isn't the best copy we could have, is it?
I've seen others "DVDScr" with much more quality.
I'd give Video 8 and Audio 8.5.

It's the best copy of this movie you can find in the internet.

movie is in English / Dari / Pashtu / Urdu / Russian, subtitles in english.
it was filmed in USA. quali is nice, just the subtitles are a bit small and not so easy to read, but ok.

Thanks for the movie. I enjoyed it almost as much as the book. The subtitles were a little annoying, but only because they were in yellow and sometimes hard to read...worth the effort though

What should i do to watch the film?

@ CindyMurta : LOOOK, those so many r# files should get extracted!!! 
i think u do not have Winrar installed!
1- Google "winrar"
2- Download n install the program ( = Winrar)
3- Right click on ANY of those many r1 r2 r whatever files, choose: extract here!
4- Wait, until it is finished.(what? -> extraction )
5- A new video file will be appeared after that which is ur kite runner movie!!
A friendly advice: when u r into dl-ing using p2p systems u shud be more familiar than this with file types, codecs, players such as VLC or MPC & etc.
Be more friendly with google, he is a real nice guy!
