Yes, it does work.
1. Download the Torrent.
2. Extract both readme.txt and iw3sp.exe using WinRAR.
3. Navagate to your Call of Duty 4 directory (C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare).
4. Replace the iw3sp.exe you downloaded in the torrent with the one that is already in your Call of Duty 4 directory. Say "Yes" to replace over existing file(s).
