have the same problem. when using convertxtodvd i get audio and just a bright green screen. downloaded k lite codec and installed it into the same folder of convertxtodvd but didn't make a difference. is there something else i need to do
any help would be appreciated.

I have installed k lite codec pack and i am still getting green video when i convert. I am using convertxtodvd. any suggestions?
It will play fine on computer but i cant divx it or convert it.

The AVI plays well, but 'DVD Flick' program would not convert/burn DVD - said codec not supported. Don't know how to get it going to DVD - have emailed FXG Team in hopes they will answer.
Different software? A conversion process? I've only made a few DVDs and have had great success with 'DVD Flick' before.

Easiest way to fix the movie for those of us that had problems converting it for our dvd players or only had it playing for a few seconds in our favorite media player....
Simply open the avi in Virtualdub.. crop off the first Lionsgate part because it has it on their twice.. takes off about 10-12 seconds I guess. Then save the avi, making it sure it is "Direct stream copy" for both video and audio. (so you don't recompress it). Only takes less than a minute.
Then it plays perfectly in any supported player and burns perfectly, at least it did in ConvertXtoDVD.

How does that work with nero 7...
Does that help nero burn dvds that will play on any dvd players?? Not just on my divx dvd player...
My other question .. what blank dvds do you all use for your nero burning of dvds. I assume you all use nero 7
I use 4 times speed 120 minutes 4.7gb
and in dvd -rw

If i read correct in manual i can use minus or plus dvds...

I havent tried yet convertxtodvd, but when i tried to see on my dvd player (in divx format) I only get 12 seconds of movie. I read in other comment of fxg the same trouble... in fact in the movie butterfly on a wheel I only saw 5 seconds on my dvd player, even when on mi computer I can see it without a problem...
Does anyone now why it happends and how to fix it?

Probably the fastest downloads ever for me. I am running cable and i was getting max speeds of 470kb/s and averaging at 300kb/s. Thats crazy fast. It took about 1hr to completely download.

Confirmed what pixel_killya said and works!!!
Use Virtualdub to open the avi, took me a while to figure out but it worked, select the starting and end points then save, but make sure you have the video and audio set to "direct stream" under the video and audio tabs or it will take a long time to convert, which you don't want. it took 30 secs to do it for me.
Use convertxtodvd to convert to DVD format and burn to DVD all in one easy step! Been using this program for a long time and is the best I have come across.

As others have stated this .avi is messed up.
Plays fine on the computer , but when I tried to stream it over to my xbox360 and watch it it would pause and freeze repeatedly throughout the movie.
No other xvid .avi from FXG have I seen this problem with.
Throughout the whole movie it would pause and freeze for a couple seconds and then caught up and play again. My guess is it was encoded at too high a bitrate....

i have had the same problem as everyone else works fine on the pc but not on the dvd player i have tryed too convert it but still no good i dont know why if you want to watch it on the big screen you may want to get another copy sorry mate i have other movies of your and have not had a problem oh well keep up the good work
