although it may look like it has updated, it actually as not.i checked with a update checker on this server provided with the crack. the database is up to date but eset components are in beta.this means that the heuristic technology is in beta stages, same for other components!!!!!
Just download a trial...30 days...30 days are up... delete all eset folders on ur computer....download new trial(IMPORTANT) install.... repeat....]

It`s a very very mad world
Go to http://www.nod321.com/ for the latest escalation id`s (it might require you to chabge username and pass every day)
I find it stupid to try and change the username and password every day, that is why i recommand the usage of an alternative upgrade server
At the advance setup go to update and then to update servers (i uninstalled nod32 and some things might of changed... sry for any mistakes)
Then change the update type from automatic to http://u6.cnnod32.cn (might require add server or something...sry again i am only human and can't remember everything)
This will keep nod32 updated with any username and password even if eset crew bans it

btw ... i think it works for any nod32 (2.7, 3.0.5 and 3.0.6 tested)
the update server might change... but surelly not as often as you might change the username and password.

It have High cpu usage for me.
I don't know why.
I have pentium 2,8Ghz no celeron, and if this nod32 work (just nod32), than cpu usage is about 50%.
This work this way?

I agree that 50 pounds is worth for antivirus. But why should we that if we can use such a good stuff like AVIRA for free? I have been trying Kasperski and Nod for awhile before and been blacklisted all the time. So I gave up and installed AVIRA free edition and it has been working great. I'm having trouble with this.
It starts to install, i click "set update paramaters later", it continues with installation, then when it starts installing drivers, it the moves to "Status: Roll Back" , then promting me that the service ended prematurely and to try again at a later time.
Any help is greatly apprectiated, Thanks

i don't think it's updating properly .. it says that it is up to date but when you verify the signature it's dec's 21st, when with version 2.70 it has a new signature EVERYDAY .. anyone else with this? . thanks

it has good features and good interface.. however, the moment it started running, my pc froze.. and it came back to normal when I uninstalled this through safe mode...

Guys, just get trial, it lasts for more than 30 days. when trial key doesnt work. uninstall and delete all traces
get new trial (new build) and duh, extenedd key!!

I used these links that are posted above and it started downloading updates but for 3 days only.. Now it says me that the files I'm trying to download are corrupted!

These servers come and go.. You can download all updates at once at http://www.jkdramas.com/nodup/ (Full Offline Update). I used their server as well but now it gives me a connection failure. The only working server I have at this moment is http://nod32.areone.cn
Another option is the TemDono fix. Haven't tried it yet but they say it works.. You can download it here: http://eset.com.sapo.pt/

Thanks Knisna. I did get the TemDono fix working in this torrent and it is updating itself it seems. At least the version of the virus signature database has changed and it now says that the latest update took place today a few hours ago. Apparently I also have a trial period which will last for another 15,356 days...

Well i can see many people have the problem about updates here is the currently servers. let me tell you HOW TO put the servers in NOD32 manually.
step 1: open ESET Smart Security
Step 2: goto "Setup"
Step 3: press Toggle Advanced mode
Step 4: press Entire Advanced Setup tree
Step 5: FIND THE Update
Step 6: press EDIT
Step 7: Add http://eset.com.sapo.pt
step 8: Add http://up1.nod123.cn
Steo 9: when added set the Update server: Choose automatically
Step 10: PRESS OK
here you go updates and when there come new updates then do the rutine again and again have fun =)

No point downloading this as crack doesnt work. The crack shows that the signatures are updated but actually the signatures doesnt get updated. You can check this yourself by clicking on Help>About where the dates of the signatures of all indicidual components are mentioned.
The best way is to download a trial version from the Eset official website and then download a crack from http://www.mininova.org/tor/1128762. Thats it... I am suing this crack and it works like charm...

Just follow the instructions on adding a new server and add the link shown. Many of the other links posted above are either dead, or contain some sort of issue, such as they give viruses or trojan or similar, and so I closed the page straight away before I got infected.

i just noticed that unlike other alternative servers out there, only http://anonym.to/?http://www.eset.no.sapo.pt is still working but the database is outdated. they have 20080408 but eset currently have 20080421 as of april 22. hope they will do something about this .

Ok, the comment was deleted as the entire torrent was deleted by in a nutshell:
Eset recently updated their servers as well as NOD32, trial versions are now issued a key per installation, rendering the normal fix of using trial servers unusable now.
I had the update problems about 2 weeks ago, so looked on their support forum to find that explanation.
Use Nod321.com for daily keys, or some people have had success hitting the update button manually several times (I mean 20 times plus). Other than that, switch to some other AV for now, until someone gets around it.
