works perfectly but i only just started it...it remains to be seen if it doesnt have the same bugs that other cracked FMs do (messed up Euro 2008, player histories, continuing the season, etc...)

Ive burnt it to a disc but cant load it in. it keeps saying "The procedure entry point SymGetLineFromAddrW64 could not be located in the dynamic link library dbdhelp.dll." Ive not got a clue what that means. I also cant find the crack thats meant to be included with the download. I only have the game, instrutions, image files and how to get a poxy free Wii.
If anyone has got this to work please could can you help me out on how ya done it....cheers

I haven't downloaded it yet (hurry hurry hurry!) but for the ones who can't find the crack, I bet it's the fm.exe file. Just copy that over the existing .exe (in the game-directory) and click it! At least that how it worked at the earlier editions! If nothing else works, buy it in the store! IT has always been a good buy for me, ever since 94/95!

I'm not done downloading yet (just a little break!), but I've got the instructions file down... doesn't that explain it? I reckon, you've got to do something to the .iso file with the mentioned programs (not really sure what, but I bet it's similar to extracting it...) and then install it. Then, replace the .exe file in program files/sports interactive/football manager 2008, or whereever you've installed it with the seperate fm.exe file from the download I'll give it a go myself, once the download is in!

I downloaded this crack http://www.mininova.org/tor/951945 and pasted that into the programme files. after doing that for the first time it asked if i wanted to tranfer the files and hey presto. i registered just to agree with the poster who misses demonoid too!!! i thought i was the only one!!
but anyway, there is not a version (to my knowledge) that works with 8.0.1 patch, which is whats really needed. looks like if you can pick up a cheap copy from somewhere that would better than trying to get this to work. i'm carrying on with fm07.

i have used daemon to mount it and then installed it. but i really dont know where to go from there. after i installed and mounted it i went back to the file where i downloaded it and copy and pasted the file "fm2008" and pasted it into sports interactive then i clicked on fm and it still come up asking for the disk am i doing the wrong procedure if i am can you please put me on the right tracks many thanks

3. Create an FM2008.mdf\FM2008.mds using Alcohol 120%
4. Mount the FM2008.mdf file with DAEMON Tools Lite
5. Cloak with YASU

PLEASE HELP!
Have downloaded, burnt to disk, installed, added crack...
The game installs fine, I can open the editor no probs. When I go to play the main game the screen goes black, the cursor goes to a football for a millisecond then to a hand.
So, all I get is the hand and a completely black screen, any ideas?
I have updated my gfx drivers. I have tried re-installing, adding the patch...everything!
Any help greatly appreciated......

here the instructions for the game wat to do
fistly open it and you will find out it is a iso file. you will need to download magic iso or power iso
when you have extracted that u add the crack. To do this you install the game dont play it yet go to my computer then program files then find the game den copy and paste the crack here lol

Right basically I'm a total nub when it comes to downloading games. FM 08 happens to be my first ever attempt .
So I really don't have much of a clue of what I'm doing ¬_¬.
I downloaded a different file last night and tried to get that to work but failed miserably. I got the game to load up, downloaded the new patch and got the main menu screen, but once I got there it told me I had to load the disc ¬_¬.
I'm having another go with this one, it's currently downloading atm. So could I get all the starting help possible? Will the new patch with the game work? Do I need to download anything else to get it run?

this is a very genuine functional torrent!
i've downloaded it and it works perfectly. i am already in my fourth season...
if it helps i leave some tips here:
* first you need a software to mount the main downloaded file (i use DAEMON TOOLS LITE, ALCOHOL120 also works fine and no you DONT BURN THE FILE INTO A DISK!)
* then you use that software to mount the file, this sort of creates a new drive (usually E:\ or F:\) with the instalation file, usually after this the setup programm will autorun, and you can also explore that drive if you need
* this torrent has a crack and instruction file that helps you with it.

Hi can someone help me please, ive downloaded it all and mounted the FM08.ISO file on dameon tools which made a new folder containing autorun and setup. At this point autorun does not work so i click setup and follow the steps which installs football manager on programs making a program called sports interactive on all programs. I then copy and paste the FM08.Exe patch into all programs- sports interactive. ok seems alot of problems on this game
This is how i did it :-
1) Downloaded file wiv utorrent in an hour!
2) Actually LOOKED at instructions provided by uploader
3) Used Power ISO to mount and install it.
3) Copied fm.exe (just to say its not marked no cd crack like it says in instructions from uploader its just the fm08 symbol in file downloaded from uploader! 
)to folder suggested in instructions!
4) Jobs a gud 1 an jog on an play 4 6hours solid! LOLOL
Easy as stealin candy from a baby! So there you go! Hope this helps!

guys, if you cant get this to work, you're not following the instructions. if you cant find the instructions, i'll give you a hint on where to find them. they are in the file named "instructions".
i downloaded this a few months ago, and ive had absolutely NO PROBLEMS with it. in fact, ive done 3-4 seasons on the game and everything has worked perfectly!
well done to the uploader.
btw, if you cant get it to run with daemon, use poweriso.
1. download
2. open with poweriso and mount the iso file onto a drive (click 'mount' then click on whichever drive you want)
3. install from the drive.
4. go into the program files on your C drive and delete the FM2008 icon.
5. replace it with the cracked icon that you will find wherever you downloaded this game to.
play the game.
6. come on here and tell everybody how awesome the game works.

ok this is how to work it:
firstly i used winrar
after i downloaded it i open the files in winrar and double clicked setup.exe. this installs the game. now go to my computer, (C) drive, program files, sports interactive, football manager 2008. Here you'll see the FM08 icon with FM next to it. this is the file that needs replacing. replace this with the identical icon found in winrar under the FM2008.iso file. Right click this icon and press "copy". now go back the the FM2008 file on your C: drive, right click and press "paste". it should ask if you want to copy and replace, click yes and you're done. Now double click the new icon and the game will run. JOB DONE!

Yes Tinku_boy the point of this game is to be a football manager not actually play the game (like pro evo or fifa). The aim is to use the ***** you have to buy players and use the right tactics etc. Im sure you can find an online help file to learn how to play the game!!

As many people have said, yes it work, and yes there are bugs with the game.
This is openly acknowledged by the creators of the game. In order for it to run relatively bug free, you will need to download the most recent patch (official). Otherwise there are issues with SPL seasons not producing fixtures and player morale etc etc.
The game works if you follow the steps correctly.
If you have any problems with finding a patch, check out the official website.

hey, im having some problems during the installation...
after i open daemon and mount the image it opens a window for the installation that says: "Installanywhere is preparing to install", after the load it opens a window with the FM image and to select language. i choose english and press OK. AND THEN THE PROBLEM POPS UP!
it says: INSTALLER USER INTERFACE MODE NOT SUPORTED, unable to load and prepare installer in GUI mode.

i have solved my own problem. the conflict that was gerating this installation problem is the username in your computer, you cant have "!" in your name in order to install this game. simply creane another account with a simple name and install the game, after installing it just delete the new account and play!

very simple open the file use power iso, mount setup.exe and run install game demount close power iso, download patches 8.01 and 8.02 recommend gamershell and go to game burn world get football manager 2008 v8.02 no cd fixed and copy it into the games directory works fine

works an absolute treat, js follow all the instructions that are given in the download/if u don't understand read through the comments made above and ull be sorted. i thought i was a total amateur at this type of stuff but i got it to work first time.
do u need to apply a patch to this or is this the latest one?

I dowloaded the Torrent,
I mounted the Fm2008 file,
It installed in the map C:\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008,
it has 6 submaps but nothing in it, they are all empty so how di i have to replace the fm.exe file with another file ?
