Hi Jennifer. First you need to recode the movie to VOB format using Nero 7 Super DVD Creator or whatever software converts the file to VOB format. After the recoding, the VOB file is ready to burn onto a DVD disc. I hope this was helpful. OOOPS Jennifer this is a .rar file so you need a software that converts that file. Try Winrar it's free.

Jennifer i use convertxtodvd,great little programme.Firstly for this file you will need winrar,then you extract the file to a folder of your choice and it then becomes a playable avi.You can then use convertxtodvd to make the avi into a REAL dvd.The process normally takes around 1 hour.However if you are really lucky like me :P and have a divx compatible dvd player then you can actually burn the avi file using Nero as a data cd,this normally takes about 3minutes.Hey presto,free movies explained :)

hey guys i just downloaded the alvin and the chipmunks dpk it is a true r5 i exctrated the audio from the video and then extracted the video without audio and then converted the extracted the audio to english and now i muxed it in and now i have a perfect r5 with actual english audio i really do want to upload it but i will see what i can do and it is true i have the r5

I have d/loaded and no matter what i do i can't convert to a watchable format.I have winrar,nero7 for vista and also convertx to dvd nothing seems to work.Any ideas?

Hey Cookieboy,
It seems, if you're using the latest version of Utorrent, part of the movie gets kicked into the trash when you delete it from the page and are preparing to burn. Check the trash bin for part of the movie. I know I've had that problem lately. I just go get it out of the trash and start up NERO 7. Hope that helps.

Broompoison (comment 2 & 3) I did you winrar and convertxdvd and it still cannot play on dvd. Would it be ok if I e-mailed you in regards to this. I have tried serveral programs and none of them will allow u to play the dvd. :?

I copy my movies straight to my 500GiB HDD on my xbox...Been doing it since xbox came out. Also use to stream my movies from my attic to 3 TVs in the house using a Wireless trasmitter and 3 receivers. Everyone watching the same movie from the comfort of their own room anyone? I have an idea, since you are a wizard at magically changing the audio from one language to another, how about cutting the movie from 54 minutes in, cut about 3 megs. And upload that to prove this magical thing you did?

Ok so I used winrar to convert the files into a single avi file. I tried doing what broompoison said and using Nero super dvd to burn it, however Nero tells me "Missing features: MPEG-4 decoding, MPEG-2 encoding. The features you have selected are only available in the full version of Nero 7."

Ok...so now what? I don't want to have to pay for Nero 7. I'm downloading the movie for free for crying out loud :P
Anyways, any help would be greatly appreciated :)

In my opinion this is an excellent copy.
Saw it at cinema and would say this cam job is 9/10 video and 8/10 Audio

If anyone wants to know how to Burn this to DVD its quite easy. Get WinRAR, then over the symbol just right click "extract to "File Name\"...." click that, then use ConvertXtoDVD as first said about by jediyodamaster, - then if you have knowledge of ConvertXtoDVD and you know how to crop pics etc... and use your general knowledge too, you can create snappy little DVDs ;).

i have the same problem as lady_jp i extracted the files with winrar and used cdburnerxp to put the avi file directly on to disc as i have a Divx player, but i can only hear sound when i fast forward the movie, it does play fine on the pc if not a little out of sync, picture quality is great :) any suggestion please :(

to burn just extract with winrar, then convert avi to vob using winavi convertor and then burn using nero 7 recoding, works perfect, all in all takes about 2 hours start to finish

:) I don't have this down yet as of yet. I have never had a bad movie from this team as of yet :) My my ISP is bandwidth shaping our services. We are basically throttled on our services when using any torrent sites.

So if you have anyone on our top canadian telecommunications ISP then please be patient with them. We can not download on full speed until around 2_30AM EST.

Up until that point your 5mb connection is only able to download about 50kbps max. Then at 2_30am back up to 550kbps.

Have a good one everyone. Oh and this shaping does not seem to affect any FTP services. So if you know of any good ftp that are able to host these files then please post here !!!!

It's a fairly good quality rip. The video quality isn't perfect, neither is the audio, but it's very watchable. Apparently, there are some scenes during the credits that got cut off here, but no big deal.
