Ok so i've been downloading this for 2 days and still only one seed? Seriously guys if you download, SEED. I've already seeded 7 GB and have 75% of the file, I'm willing to seed up to 20 GB if I can just get the god damned thing downloaded. By the way thanks Razor, keep it up.

Step 1.
Unpack, mount/burn, install the game.
Step 2
Copy the crack from the \Razor1911 dir into your installation directory.

Unpack Default_profile.zip into %USERPROFILE%\My Documents\Battlefield 2142\.
Then open %USERPROFILE%\My Documents\Battlefield 2142\Profiles\0001\Profile.con
with a text editor and change its content to your likings.
The following fields might be of interest:
//name of the in-game user:
LocalProfile.setName "Razor1911"
//login username:
LocalProfile.setEAOnlineMasterAccount "Razor1911"
You might also want to have a look at the other files in this dir!
Step 4
Start the game, when prompted by the login prompt, enter whatever you used for
LocalProfile.setEAOnlineMasterAccount. If you didn't change anything in
Profile.con this will be "Razor1911". You will be prompted by a box telling
you are playing in offline mode, press 'OK'. Now select your profile and the game
will start!

I followed the exact instructions, it said select a profile in the offline modus, press ok. Pressed OK and then it says EA account doesn't exist and I can't select a profile.

Thanks Dark_Pilot, that helped, but after I pressed OK to play offline it gave me an error that said "This EA Account cannot be found locally on this machine. Please try with a different one, to log in offline." How do I fix this?

i also had problems even following the instructions but it dose work try placing the profile in c\ program files bf 2142 as well as my document\ bf 2142
and yes it works in Vista (i have user account control off)also maby this is just a vista thing but i could not advance in the game so had to use ffolkes weapons_unlock_mod http://thepiratebay.org/tor/3563158/Battlefield_2142_weapons_unlock_mod
and also note if you don't change the name its a capital R in the user name and there is no password.

I've download and install BF 2142 and everything went perfectly except that now when i want to start the game i insert the burned CD of BF 2142 and click on launch BF 2142 but they ask me to insert Battlefield 2142 installation CD.

To anyone having problems with installing this refer to post number 19 & 20. Check over these profiles. I couldn't get it to boot to a single player game because I hadn't copied the Profile 0001 folder to my "local" computer, i.e
C:\Documents and Settings\*Your Username*\My Documents\Battlefield 2142\Profiles
Now it works by using just the login name Raxor1911 and don't bother with a password.

Right all you need to do guys is go to EAONLINE and register for an account.
Once youve done that you follow the instructions in post number 20 (above) and change yoru name in that file to the name you created for your ea account.
I dont know why everyoen finds it so difficult to figure things out for themselves.!

Hi, I've managed to get it to work up to the online part.
When I try to log in online it gives me the message- 'CD key is invalid'
A few people have posted saying they got it to work online (post 51), but I can't seem to make that work.

-I have an EA Game account.
-I have read all comments.
-I have replaced ALL "Profil" files by my account and password (Everywhere...)I have try many combinations (Email & password as on the EA's site etc...).

Could I get some help here, please? I copied the Profiles paste into C:/My Documents/Battlefield 2142/ and didn't change the account name. When I try to play with Razor1911 account name it says that I still need a password to connect. Oh, and I even patched it to the 1.40 version and cracked it.

Ok, for anyone thats curious...this Torrent works! A word of caution when I used the Key Generator a warning came up saying it contained a Trojan or a variant, but Comod BHO stopped it in its tracks and I used it and after scanning my PC is clean. So install Using PowerISO or I used Alchhol 120. I then ran patchs I got off a torrent here up to v1.40, put the crack with the other 2 files with it in the game folder, then I followed the instructions on 19 and 20 but I put said file in both My Documents/2142 (or what ever it is called) and in the game folder. Then ran the game, I left Razor1911 and when it tried to connect to EA, my firewall came up and I denied it totally then It asked to switch to offline, and I selected Razor1911, and single player...seems to work though ive never played so i dont know if its the full content it seems to only have 8 maps...and I havnt gotten any new guns and stuff...but it works!!!

Thanks Razor, but when I started playing, only 6 maps showed up and when I played on one of them the audio was looping and it said "joining battle in 0" and then kept transfering me to the respawn select.

ok well i fixed my issue now.
Cebaros you dont really need to change any details, its only if you want your game name to be your own when playing.
i have another question though, is it possible to save your ranks and get new guns when playing or will it always reset when playing offline?

OK !!! now i made it work.... and i found out that on window vista... go to ur documents and after install u will find battlefield2142 go there and put the profile file... inside profiles... so documents -> battlefild2142 -> Profiles and put it in tere... it works fine... ;]

I just want to play the f'n game. It shouldn't be this difficult.
It would be much easier if the provider would just give simple instructions as to how to install, patch and make the damn thing play. This is why I hate torrents sometimes... a bunch of useless shait...

ok... i replaced the battlefiled2142 icon with the one in the program files. but its not working, an error reporting window pops out...
lets start it all over again... according to dark_pilot
Step 1.
Unpack, mount/burn, install the game.
Step 2
Copy the crack from the \Razor1911 dir into your installation directory.
Step 3
Unpack Default_profile.zip into %USERPROFILE%\My Documents\Battlefield 2142\.
alright this is wat i did...
step 1 - extract the file using winrar
step 2 - install the game
step 3 - replace the battlefield application with the one in the program files

KeyGen is infected with virus Recommend extracting the entire file EXCEPT the Razor 1911 file folder to lower the risk of being infected. It is just the Key Gen, nothing else. The game works completely fine and free from virus. You can either get the serial key from somewhere else or (I think it is posted already on here) The crack, just get it from gameburnworld.com

J'ai lu tous les commentaires en suivant les instruction donnés et je n'arrive toujours pas a lancer le jeu.
Voici toutes les manipulations que j'ai fat depuis le debur :
-telecharger avec utorrent
-extraire dnas le dossier de reception
-mettre sur un dvd (tout avec raziel...)
-lancer l'installation (keygen marche parfaitement)
-installation finie reglage micro ect....
-la arriver au truc de EA pour jouer en ligne
-j'ai creé un compte, adresse..... et a l'avant derniere etape il me dit que mon numéro de serie n'est pas bn
-je ferme la fenetre de EA et il me dit instalation reussie mais des que je lance le jeu "veuillez inserer le CD"
J'éspere que quelqu'un pourrai m'aider avec ce probleme en le remerciant par avance.

Salut anbuuchiha alors pour ton probleme je te conseil de monter une image du dossier .iso en entier grace à demontools il va te creer alors un faux disque dans ton lecteur CD et tu auras donc comme un disque dans ton Ordinateur Voila ++

INSTRUCTIONS
do steps 19&20. ALSO, extract the default_Profile.zip (located in the Razor1911 file on the iso image) to the My Documents/Battlefield 2142 in the Profile folder. For a key, run the keygen.exe when prompted for the key. (keygen.exe will often be interpreted as a virus by antivirus programs - ignore it). This worked for me for single player. ok look ima help u sad lil ea hackers...
step 1. download daemon tools, its free
2. right click the daemon tools tray icon near the time on ur pc
3. go to virtual cd rom and click set number of devices,1 drive then go to device 0,mount drive then look for the iso battlefield file...
3. install all that bs then look at comment 168 to get the cd keys
4. download a cd crack so game dont need the cd to play then go to the electronic arts folder in my computer/drive C or w/e drive u use then swap the cd crack with the battlefield icon and after that do not download any patches bad idea
5. download battlefield 2142 servers from their website of battlefield
6. open the battlefield 2142 application, make an account and jus play the dame game ffs

* As far as I know, the rank system only works on ranked servers. Your points, etc. are stored in a central server. This is one of the reasons why there's no online crack: the master server won't accept keygen-generated CD-keys and even if you could somehow dodge the authentication process (impossible), every server would kick you for having a modified executable. In a nutshell: even if the crack fools EA's master server, regular servers will still kick you due to having different game files. Get it?
* You can still play against bots and LAN (Hamachi, anyone?).
* The keygen ISN'T A VIRUS. It is flagged so because of some processes it does, but it is harmless.
* There's no Titan in singleplayer (bots can't handle them). There is a mod which adds Titans and the locked weapons to botmaches, but they still don't use Titans. However, bots are free of weapon restrictions: you are limited to basic weaponry, while they have shotguns, frag/EMP grenades, one-shot-kill rifles, sentry guns, all sort of stuff.

Not to mention that bots are deliberately hard: your team works as a crowd, they work as a coordinated team. Yours just run into the fray while they happily blast you away with an orbital strike if you are capturing a control point. This is one major problem: only the enemy team has a commander, yours doesn't. Another problem: in that mod mentioned above, the enemy commander always charges with his Titan, generating brutal lagfest. The game froze for me after one minute of "slideshow".

I found a solution, for the message "insert the cd" when you launched the game.
You must change the file BF2142.exe in the repertory of the game by an crack no cd , tape in google "crack no cd battlefield 2142" downloaded it and replace the file "Bf2142.exe" by the crack, his name is "Bf2142.exe" too.
After that the game must be launched normaly.
Against the problem with the username, i had the same problem, nevertheless i clear it, with the demo battlefield 2142 multiplayer.
I installed the demo and i created an EA account in the demo.
After that i copied the profile.con in the repertory battlefield 2142 demo and i replaced the file profile.con in the directory battlefield 2142 by it.
And now the game works succesfully !

open default folder
open profile.con with notepad
set LocalProfile.setEAOnlineMasterAccount "Razor 1911"
set LocalProfile.setEAOnlineSubAccount "Razor 1911" and save
use username: Razor 1911
dont bother about password
click login and play offline

Hellp ppl My name is Terjo and im gonna help you wht tht acc problem 
1 step: Go to youre battlefield folder which is under my documents.
2 step: there is some **** like profile, deafult; delete them
but dont delete the file icontent.cache!!!
3 step: then just go to Razor 1911 and open deafult_profile.zip
4 step: next tht u have do to is to just drag the folder profile to youre battlefield 2142 folder in My documents
5 step: then just double-click to the Battlefield shortcut and it should help.
If u have any more questions just ask PS

HOW TO CONNECT TO OUR SERVER:
If you have an official account:
To connect to our server you should use 85.112.114.99 (City Maps), 85.112.114.78 (World War III), 85.112.114.100 (City Maps II) IP address.
You should enter in following bookmarks: Network/Internet/More Details/IP-address. Standart port - 17567. If you do not want to enter IP address each time, you should visit section files.
If you don’t have an official account:
1. Download or buy game client.
2. Install game.

Additional advices:
If wish to play a window mode you should add a shortcut of the file bf2142.exe a command +fullscreen 0 i.e. it will turn out in properties of a shortcut "C:\Games\Battlefield 2142\BF2142.exe" +fullscreen 0.
In the further that movies did not show, accelerating loading, you should delete them from a folder of game "Battlefield 2142\mods\bf2142\Movies".

On our server work all weapons and the equipment, including stuff from update Northern Strike

@damian2142: you can't play online without a valid CDKEY... the ones from the keygens validate via the formula, but online they validate against EA's database of valid keys.
