It was tested in version 3.0.621 Final and the licence is really valid until 2050.
Updates are acquired from the new servers from ESET exclusive to the NOD32 v3.x without authentication.

It is not important what is license expiration date. Once the keys are blacklisted, which probably will happen in a few days, you will not be able to update...

well it would only worked for v3.0.621 not for v3.0.551.0 which i had before coz after updating the virus def., it will show "antivirus protection is disabled" coz most of the security modules won't function properly..
but thanks a lot for this upload coz if not for this, i wouldn't still be able to update my NOD32 bcoz of some user name & password problem i had..

I think that this version will last indefinitely (at least till 2050). This registers the program to tell the server that we are using trial and trials are all the same to the server. So it will work for the moment

Once i got my hands on this it works perfectly fine. Updates to latest signatures etc also. Does what it says on the tin. Now the real test is to see how long it lasts.

this fix runs perfectly! thks uploader
for the older version of smart security (v3.0.551.0) this fix somehow dosenot work. get the new version (v3.0.621) and do exactly as the readme.txt says.
as far as the blacklisting of keys, this fix according to my knowledge keeps authentication on rotating basis so evenif one key gets deactivated others take it's place.

guys u gotta have the most recent version the .621 then u gotta restart ur computer after u applied the fix...but remember u gotta have a 32 bit version not 64 it wont work with 64

Been running for 3 days now, no problem! OK, I know that's not long, but, enjoy while you can . . .
A couple of years ago, I wanted to purchase a licence for Nod32, but didn't want to have pay a higher price because I lived outside of the US. I managed to purchase a download from a US source, payment was accepted, then a few hours later it was withdrawn and my money refunded because I was outside of the US. I sent an e-mail to Eset complaining about it, basically their reply was "tough"!
That's when I looked at Mininova and found a fix for Nod32 v2.7, and managed to use it for best part of a year. However, the beginning of this year it stopped updating. I again looked at purchasing a licence, couldn't get it cheap enough, did a search for an "offer code" to get a discount (as this is actually shown on the Nod32 order form!!), but . . . nothing!
That's why I again have utilized a fix to get it for nothing. Eset, lighten up a bit, you might get some more business!

I have the lates 3.0.621.0 and I ran the fix right after install yesterday. I didnt restart until today when i ready Maxima's response. Restarted and still says I have only 30 days left. I am running Vista Ultimate 32-bit. Thnx in advance for the help!

apawk try this....it worked for one of my friends....try uninstalling the fix first then uninstalling nod32....then restart ur computer....then install nod32 and then install the fix restart ur computer....it should work...if it doesnt theres something wrong wut ur doing bc its working for everybody

All of u,who can't get it right. follow this..
1. Uninstall ur prvious Nod32 and fix if there is one and restart pc.
2. Get register seeker (juz google it). run it and clean/delete all the nod32 registry/record.
3. Juz follow instruction attached (readme note included)
4. Get any trial but the latest one (3.0.6xx) and install it but don't restart yet when done....install the fix.
restart ...thats it.

Installation instructions for NOD32 Fix
- Install NOD32
- During installation Push "Set update parameters later".
- Dont`t reboot when installation complete.
- Install NOD32 FiX v2.2.exe
- Don't restart PC.
- Go to the installation folder of NOD32, usually C:\Program Files\Eset, you will see nod32fix.reg (It's a registry entry for NOD32).
- Click nod32fix.reg. It will ask you whether you wanna add the entry, just click on yes then click on OK.
- Now Restart your PC.
- Now you have the unlimited version of NOD32.

also, the Fix (NOD32.FiX.v2.2.exe) which works with that procedure (#44) isn't the one by TemDono, but an older one by ShareGo (the one which came in an old NOD32 torrent)!

Yesterday I installed it and followed the same procedure. I cudn't see the date of expiry as the window is not properly showing it. it is trimmed. Also Today I got an exception that Update failed. What can be done?

I got the window that says trial expires in 15000 days but yesterday got a window from eset saying only 20 days until trial expires so i will just have to wait and see what happens. working fine for now but that could just be the trial working anyway

Ok i followed everything and it seems to update properly but theres no expiry date making it look like a REGISTERED copy with no User name or Password. I just want to be sure, does it still update till 2050? Because I'm not sure since it has no expiration date.

First of all the trial version is the EXACT SAME as the full version (they want you to try their product at its best so you buy it after the trial is done). Ok now to business, for those of you that is having problems with this fix (like me) I FINALLY found a way around it. Ok first you go to Start > Run > Type "regedit" without quotes > Ok > click on "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" > Software > ESET > ESET Security > Current Version > License Info and then you'll see Expiration Date on the right side > Right Click > click Decimal > type 2000000000 > Press OK > close Registry Editor > Restart. You now have the software that will update until May 17, 2033.

I have a question.
I have ESET NOD32 AntiVirus Business Edition v3.0.621.0
It can't update the virus signature database anymore, i have 2 patches saying no need for password for updates.
I installe the "tem dono" fix. It installed my new virus signatures but right after the update it detected the "NOD32_v3_FiX_1.1-TemDono.exe" as being infected with : "Win32/HackAV.AJ application"
cleaned by deleting - quarantined
What's up with that?
Does that mean i installed a virus somehow or just that NOD32 realizes that this hacks the AV program (hence the HackAV)
The point is, is it safe?

Maybe it says you have something like 15000 days left, but in fact the days go down in bigg jumps so you still actually get the 30 day trial period. Maybe the program cannot be tricked? Just a guess

d/l v3.0 as you have done then import the fix into the eset program using 'import settings' make sure you only try to install the fix and not the text docs and screenshots too. worked for me that way. not too sure there will actually be 15000 days though!!!!

i had nod32 installed before until they caught onto it and so i downloaded RegSeeker and removed the info left behind in the regisrty, downloaded nod32 smart security 3.0.621.0 and installed this fix without restarting. then once all done restarted and updated and updated fine, only been a day but it looks good for now

Unfortunately no servers mentions above seems works for me...it says "Update is not necessary" but the virus signature still 2855 while on my other pc using v2.70 it shown 2857. Looks like we had to go back again to v2.70 until someone really can fix it like nsane done b4.

At least, those who say that it works, please also mention the version of NOD32 you are using. I am using 3.0.621 Business and the OS is Vista 32. If you look at the comments from other people in other NOD32 torrents, you will see that ESET probably managed to stop the trial from upgrading. At least most of them.

i am very sorry to disappointed you all but for me it stops generating updates. it worked fine 'til feb 06 and for now it show download interrupt msg every manual update.

This thing aint worth the hassle. I've used Eset before and found it to be good but Zone Alarm Internet Security is better and far easier to hack with a simple key generator. I've got over 65000 days of updates with it!

I've used Eset for years and thought it to be good but don't believe their adverts alone. In anti virus head-to-head testing it rarely comes up as the best product. Kaspersky is reckoned to be the best nowadays and i'd say Zone Alarm for an XP box isn't far behind.

Well i have just installed the smart security from the torrent fileNOD32_Complete_Software_2008+Keys(Patch).rar_[mininova].torrent
and installed the business edition. It didnt mention anywhere if it was a trial version.
When i tried to update it wouldnt update saying there is some error with connecting to the server.
So i searched here and found another server "http://u48.eset.com/eset_eval" and added it to the list.
And i click "update"
The good news was , it was updating successfully
The bad news was, it suddenly showed that "Remaining 30day(s)" either upgrade or purchase full version.
Anybody knows what i can do about this problem? the current version is 3.0.621.0 i would really appreciate it...

ok i got it after 2hours of installing, uninstalling and rebooting i finally got it to work...heres the scenario that made it for me....
After attempting several times combinig this and that i finally managed to make it work...as i have mentioned above i downloaded the smart security from the torrent NOD32_Complete_Software_2008+Keys(Patch).rar_[mininova].torrent
I installed the business edition.
1. While installing make sure you "set the parameters later"
2. After installation finished, i checked and it didnt mention if it was trial version or the number of days left.

3. When i update it wouldnt connect properly to server so i i added a new server to the list http://u48.eset.com/eset_eval
4. I clicked on update and it updated successfully while i had a biiiiiiiig smile on my face...
5. When updating finished successfully i suddenly had a sad face hehe coz it showed me that i had 30days left.
6. I downloaded the exact fix from the torrent given above and installed it
7. i restarted the PC and suddenly the smile was back again wheni saw that i had 15291days remainig till expiration...so i immedietly hit the update again and it was updating again...well thats how it is...Now the question is for how long will this last?

Hey, this has been workin' for me for a while, I've been using the ESET Smart Security Fix... So far so good for about 1 month, untill now... It keeps telling me that it's out of date, and it needs to update, but whenever I click update, it sais the virus signatues are up to date! Does anyone else have the same problem? Has anyone else's updates stopped working???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

What's the difference with this fix and the 1.2 fix? I understand that the 1.2 fix keeps NOD32 in trial forever till 2050 but the fix 1.1 still updates even after the trial version is over also till 2050.
Should I switch over to the 1.2 fix or stick with the 1.1? If switching do i need to uninstall or just patch over 1.1?

no virus or something else...tested with avast,avg,nod(original),norton!!!!
my friend also test it with kaspersky and found 0 viruses!!

clean and working perfect expires 2050 =]
you need to install nod32 then install the fix restart
press on updates and then restart again you will expires in 2050

now don't work anymore dont do updates,updates are older then 2 ougust,don't download latest updates maybe for me anuone have a same problem 20 daus whith no update but still say not nesesaru?

i have a question for you guys, do you have to download the trial version and then install the fix program or what....or you must already have
the PROGRAM to do this what ever it is fix program...
