If and when I get this and run it, I'll be happy to report on whether it works OK--appreciate same info if others get there first...

Anyone test this out yet? Does it really allow for the state download?

3.Posted by SonJazrin on Jan 11 2008 at 00:24

The previous ones did, I wouldn't think that this one would be any different

Hello everybody, I`ll be downloading the file, let u guys know later, to tested and to see if it does works. from The Master.

So yeah... I've got it downloaded, and even after using MagicISO to extract (or convert it to an .iso file) the files, I can't do anything with 'em. Burning the iso does nothing, and there's no setup file to be found.

This is the Mac version, that's why no one can open it.

7.Posted by harstad on Jan 15 2008 at 15:34

This is a mac program that you can only open with a windows program.... nice.

what jack4ss uploads a mac file as a .uif why is it not a DMG or ISO , its almost as if they went out of the way to make it extremely hard to convert and even use, jack4ss

**ATTENTION**

This is a hybrid version and WILL (and does) work in windows!!! You must convert the .uif file using MagicISO (look here on Mininova) into a .ISO file. THEN, load the .iso file in Daemon Tools and the install should autostart. I am using this product now and I verify it works! Good luck with uncle sam.

DOES NOT WORK IN WINDOWS!!!!!!!! even after converting to iso. this is a mac only version.

11.Posted by animekub on Jan 28 2008 at 07:05

Mac only version and it works! Needs to convert from .uif to .iso. Here's how

1. Install "X11"
2. Install "Darwine"
3. Download "MagicISO" .exe
4. Open "Winehelper" (it's in the Darwine folder)
5. Using "Winehelper", open the MagicISO installer
6. Install "MagicISO"
7. Using "Winehelper", open "MagicISO"
8. Under "Tools" Select "Decompress UIF files" Select the UIF file you want to convert and hit "Decompress." It will output as an ISO. You can then use Disk Utility to open or burn the ISO.

Take a chill pill Lightning! How many times do you want to post the same thing? If no one gets it, it's their problem - let them deal with it!

lighning, YOU are the f'ing wetard. converted uif to iso and mounted using daemon tools and even mounted using poweriso. DOES NOT WORK!

16.Posted by rfelp on Jan 29 2008 at 23:25

first file i converted to iso didnt not work. went back and did a "decompress" of the uif and this time the new iso works.

I had no problem whatsoever with this torrent and getting it to install. Simply used MagicISO to convert it, then used Alcohol 120% to mount it to my drive and voila! It ran the setup.exe automatically. Using the software right now with no problems! :) :) :)

18.Posted by Rajdog77 on Jan 30 2008 at 23:40

It works great!

19.Posted by univcopy on Jan 31 2008 at 17:12

Lightning is ABSOLUTELY correct...I had this up and running on XP Pro SP3 less than 10 minutes after d/l the torrent. Use MagicISO to convert to ISO, burn or mount...Do your taxes...Easy...

Just bought a Mac. After downloading the file, do I need to do anything special to load onto the MAC book to work?

24.Posted by Daschande on Apr 09 2008 at 23:13

Program works just fine! Make sure to use MAGICiso, PowerISO or any other program, they do not support the .uif file type!

Perhaps that's where the confusion was coming from?

25.Posted by Daschande on Apr 09 2008 at 23:15

err.. i should have said... PowerISO and many other programs DO NOT support that file type; be sure to use MagicISO!

26.Posted by chevysource on Apr 11 2008 at 02:16

This program DOES work, if you follow the instuctions as stated. Be sure to use the "convert" under the "tools" button and DON'T choose "save as" (trust me on this, took me a few minutes to figure out that was wrong) then load it on the MagicIso virtual cd tool. Thanks!
