This download worked great for me 
...no freezing up after auto-save.(If you happen to try this game out on your PC with PCSX2 first, don't worry if it's in Japanese. Once burnt to disc and played, it is in english.) Thanks.

Do not download, it will freeze after the auto-save confirmation screen.
