once you try to update the virus database it tells you that you're using a pirated or illegal copy of AVG so i'm not sure whether it's going to run the way it should or not

DONT GET THIS

Earlier i said i found no probs,,i was wrong...i am soz for this

i had done checks on this and found nothin,,but it doesnt go kaput
untill u get the windows security updates,,,,

then everything messes up,,ive been trying to fix the issues now for 12hrs
and its going to be a format jobbie for me too.........FFS

Initially all the above keys will work with the Anti-Spyware,
but they will be cancelled out after so many hours when you check for updates.

- delete all files and folders in this directory !

- delete all files and folders in this directory !

C:\windows\temp\*.*
- scan and view anything that looks odd (maybe delete)

and then empty RECYCLE BIN,
then enter the key from the serial list. sometimes you may have to enter each and everytime you turn on your computer.

the antispyware will downgrade to the free version. none of the serials are acepted.
the antivirus works great. you can download updates for it.

Didnt download from here. download from avg site
( http://free.grisoft.com/filedir/inst/avgas-setup-7.5.1.43-3339.exe )
and use serial 75SP-TH1VD1-P09-C01-S30MUE-NNK-I1X8 or one of the others shown here. works great and beacuse you got it from avg site there is deffo no virus !!!

tomprman,...if you start getting 'serious'with computers,..count on this : every once and a while you will have to format your c-drive ( or every other) once in a while...THAT is why most seriuos people have all their vital information on a back-up disk....so if you really can't fix the problem, you'll be up and running again within two hours, nothing lost, experience gained...if you don't get this, some advice for yoy : stay the hell away from you're computer ! Just use it , don't try anything out of the ordinary, and just buy all youre software and movies ! But don't blame people here for the fact that you are a non-intelligent life form !

Installed and working perfectly. Just a detail, the txt with the instructions says something about a pop-up saying that u'r running a pirate version, but it never said anything of the sort to me.
