The 94.3% that is available includes the images for the 2 x game discs. This is all you need. You can simply download the patch, no-cd crack and manual separately. Salim16, if you have the 94.3% I have, then you should be ok.

I installed everyhing fine and now it won't read CD2. Any ideas why? Do I need to copy the patch into the vampire file or something?

Mettre le jeu en français (sous-titres seulement - les voix restent anglaises)
- Copier le fichier Local_FR.nob" (qu'on trouve sur le net)dans le dossier du jeu installé
- et enlever le fichier "Local_Eng.nob" (sous-titres anglais)
Quand le jeu sera lancé, activer les sous-titres dans Options/Jouabilité

You must have cd1.iso et cd2.iso to install the game. Then dont copy the patch (VampirePatch_1_1.exe) just run it.

I'm no **** when it comes to torrents but when i mount disc 1 with daemon or power iso the install shield goes to 99% and cuts off I see this torrent is all over so is it a trick to getting it to install?

As u see on details on the torrent...there s a patch...1.1....so u have to DOWNLOAD the right crack..(i mean no cd 1.1 )...and remember to get the lastest daemon/alcohol 
maybe it's the 2 main pb...

I figured out when installing the game and i had the same problem with reading cd 2 but i managed and the game is fully installed but when i click to play it says that i need to insert cd 2 to play -.- c'mon people we need HELP HERE!

Install it
Patch the game ...just double-click on it to install
Extract vampire.exe out of the archive from the same file as the patch
Copy it in the folder where you intalled the game.
Run the game...Enjoy...
But please,what is the cd-key..a valid one please.

Don't say it work's perfect because don't! The game stuck at Orsi's ofice, sub level 4 in EUA-1999. So, we can't finish the game.

i have the real cd, but i can't install the game
when the setup thing is going on it goes really quick to 99% and sticks there about 5 min. Then all the menu of the game disappears
Does anyone know what the cause could be? I have windows xp..

Hey i actually own this game so it ****s that i cant get it to work so i downloaded this torrent it installed just fine but it will not read cd2. i see that that is a problem allready reported but i cant seem to see a solution unless its not in english heh heh if someone knows what the problem is let me know via email deceptionsangel@aim.com and/or let me know on here thank you

Hy, I had the same problem as most of you with cd2. Kliff47's comment #28 solved is. The uploader forgot to mention that the Vampire RAR in the Patch folder is the no-CD crack. ú
Just extract and copy it, mine runs fine now. Hope this helped.
Btw Kliff47: CD key is valid in CD1 folder, just don't forget capital letters and hyphans

Ok, I got all the files, and the patch, but the error message that says I still need CD #2 still pops up. Where exactly does the Vampire.exe file go? I currently have it in the same file as CD 2 and have been moving it around but nothing's happening. Any ideas?

mount cd image 1 using daemon or wutever. run install,its stops at %50 and asks for cd 2.dont close install,just hit windows button or wutever to access daemon and mount cd image 2 then run.should continue %51 and on to complete.then its says restart computer. but just run patch file by double clicking and approving prompts to complete. then you need winrar. open vampire file with all the downloaded stuff,open file that says vampire patch FR, then go to file that says vampire (winrar archive) right click and hit extract to or jus do wutever and extract to vampire masquerade: redmption file in program file in c: drive. cd key is in cd 1 file. enjoy >:-)~

OK when your installing and it will ask for CD 2 you open the directory where you mounted CD2 play disk and open setup folder (inside VAMPIRE_PLAY) through the installation. Now it should install. make sure to patch.

for all of you having problems with this game follow the steps below
1.download game
2.unzip with winrar
3.mount cd1 with daemon tools or magic iso
4.when it asks for cd2 simply unmount cd1 and replace it with cd2 (press the windows key if the installer takes up the whole window)
5.patch the game and then find a cd image online their should be one on planetvampire (dot) com
6.mount the cd image and enjoy 
if this doesn't work i dont know what to tell ya guys

I am completely new to this. I actually have two copies of this game, but can't find them for reinstal.
Can someone go through a step by step how to do this game. I don't even see an instalation option. Do I need to copy the CD1 and 2 to actual CD's? Would a single DVD work for both? Help please.

I just downloaded this, but every time I mount it and try to install it the installation won't begin. The autoplay menu comes up, I hit install it displays the DemoShield tag and then nothing happens. I've tried PowerIso, Alcohol 120%, Daemon, and MagicIso and predictably I've gotten the same result with all of them. Anyone help?

Oaky. I'm using Windows Vista on PC, so this may be slieghtly different for you. First thing I did when the download was complete is burn it all to disc. Than I burned disc 1 and disc 2 files to individual cd's. I had to turn off antivirus (for instal only) and run as administrator.

Before you start, you will need a program to unzip and also winrar. There is a link above for winrar.
Next, open up the file disc 1, and the readme "registration key". Just copy that code for later. Cntl C.
Go back to the full download and copy "local FR", "vampire (rar)", and the patch to desktop for easy access in a few minutes.
Insert cd disc 1. And read all this before beginning so it is clear.

With cd 1 in, just close the windows popup autorun. Go to "My Computer", and right click on cd drive. Hit "Explore", and than click "autorun". (It may be Setup instead, I'm doing this from memory. One worked and the other had an error immediatly).
It should run smoothly until . . .

. . . You need to put in disc 2. (Some people had trouble here). I placed in Cd 2, minimized to desktop, waited for the windows autorun to come up, closed it, recopied that cd key code, and went right back to the install. Hit ok on cd 2, and let it finish.
I want to say you need to reinsert cd 1 after 2 is done, but I don't remember. If so, just do the same thing.
Next should be the cd key, which you just past in. "Cntl V". Make sure there is no spaces at beginning or end and it should take it. No need to register.
Next find the Game Icon on desktop. . .

Open and run the vampire patch. Should take a few seconds.
Now with the Game Icon, Right click and "open file location". (I'm going to refer to this as "VtMR spot" from now on to not be confussing). On your desktop, I said save the files "local Fr" and "Vampire" rar.
For each, unzip/winrar them, than just copy them to VtMR spot. Hit ok to confirm it all, and yes to "copy and replace". Do not keep both verions on VtMR spot.

Go ahead and take out the cd. That last step was the way to play the game without the cd's.
Go ahead and close everything except the VtMR spot. You shouldn't need it.
Right click on "vampire.exe" and create short cut. I don't know if you need to do this, but I did. Replace the shortcut on desktop, and than click it. The game should work now, without cd's. Remember to turn antivirus back on.
I'l check back to make sure you don't have any problems every few days. I just experimented until it worked for me.
Also, I can't seem to get the -console cheat to work, if anyone knows about this. I don't know if it's just vista or what. Anyway, hope this helped.

2 things to try. One, periodically minimize the instal screen to make sure nothing is being blocked that you can't see. (Button between Cntl and Alt).
Two, are you using the Setup or autorun instal? Try the other one.

Ok, I'm running on Vista 64 and have run into a problem. Burnt the files to disc, ran install...makes it just past setting up the installer then stops to tell me i need to figure out whether i'm running 32 or 64 bit and get a compatible version of the game. I know some of you run on Vista 64 as well...any suggestions?

Sorry, let me clarify...if I click Setup it tells me that this file is not compatible with the version of Windows i am running. Autorun just tells me Install shield has stopped working. Does anyone know how to get past this?

to the person who said their cd install stops at 99% eject the disk, it will ask you to reinsert it, push it back in and 99/100 times it will complete the installation
