i didn't download this exact torrent, but the contents in this one and in mine look to be same. so...
here's what i did:
install in this order
sims 2
university
nightlife
open for buisness
pets
family fun stuff
glamour life stuff
seasons
run the seasons cracks
and thats all
the only crack you need to run if you install all the EP's is the one for seasons
those in instructions were in a text which was included the torrent i downloaded a while ago. if it works for you guys, great!

Hi, I followed the instructions from helltex using this torrent and another very similar. All the installs went fine, except for the the seasons cracks. That mounts but then crashes immediately. Without that crack, the install is complete but I am still required to insert the original DVD. Any help to someone using leopard?

Hi! i've figured it out, if you are using leopard or panther the patch WILL CRASH, you have to patch it from a computer WITH TIGER. And then you can play normally on leopard.
The game works perfect!

Hey, i dload teh very similar version f this torrent, install it like i was told to, and (since i'm using leopard) then use the leopard patch on seasons. AND IT WORKS almost fine. Aparently mi video card ATI HD2400 has some kind of ususal glitch THAT the latest COMBO Dload from aspyr fix,mthe problem is that it also overwrites the patch, soooooooo I NEED IF SOMEONE CAN MAKE A PATCH FOR THE LATEST ASPYR COMBO UPGRADE

I figured it out , I thought I would post a solution for those having the same problem. Before running the patching program you have to change the permissions of the files manually; what is more you have to change them for the .app file in the game catalogue and for the The Sims 2 file which is located at The Sims 2.app/Contents/MacOS/ . Well, it maybe simple, but Leopard is a new system for me

Could anybody pleaaaase help me. I spent 5 days hijacking my bandwidth to download the sims 2 plus patch found on http://www.mininova.org/tor/1068801 and now, the no dvd crack doesn't work. After it asks me to change permissions for a few files it then says:

i have downloaded The Sims 2 with EP's complete.
I have leapord.
I install the sims 2.
try to run the game and it's asking for the original disk to be inserted.
also whenever I try to install expansions, the installers can't find the correct location for The Sims 2 and asks for me to reinstall the sims 2.
This is very aggravating.
Can someone help me with this problem?

The link you posted did not work for me because of permission errors that I wasn't sure how to fix it but I downloaded a separate patch from:

That seemed to work great. For the install order I followed helltex's comment above.
(Also, some people who have a different build version of Sims 2 seasons are saying they get a permission error when using that newer patch (I didn't) but theres an easy fix by using Pseudo (http://personalpages.tds.net/~brian_hill/pseudo.html) to launch it.

ok guys i hope this will be of some help to some of you as i have got the game to work perfectly.
I am using Mac OS X version 10.4 “Tiger”
Firstly if the file is not recognised or will not mount you are possibly in the wrong folder, search your hard drive and you may find two copies of the sims 2 with ep's complete.
Go to the sims 2 with ep's complete folder. Click on sims2.dmg. Drag the folder to your hard drive. When you click on the sims 2 icon it may ask you for the original disc. This is where the crack comes in.
open the sims 2 cracked.app.sit and drag the sims 2 cracked icon into the folder you just copied to your hard drive. the sims 2 is now cracked. to launch the sims 2 click on the the sims 2 cracked icon not the original the sims 2 icon.

installing the ep's should be simple provided they know where the sims 2 is installed on your hard drive. if the ep's cannot find it there will be an error asking you to reinstall the sims 2.
what i did was drag the sims 2 with ep's complete folder to my hard drive where i copied the sims 2 folder earlier. i then took the contents (not the folder) from the sims 2 folder and put it inside the sims2 folder (the one in the sims 2 with ep's complete folder thats has the disc image and crack). then when i ran the ep's they knew where the sims 2 was installed and ran perfectly.
the expansion packs should run without having to crack any until you get to seasons. run the season's crack. find the original sims 2 icon, not the sims 2 cracked icon, on your hardrive and drag it into the patch. it may ask you to change permissions and say yes and it will patch.
the new icon should appear in the sims 2 folder where the sims two cracked icon is, now use the seasons icon to launch the sims 2.

hey poster of a girll.. i tried doing exactly what you said step by step but something isn't working out. now when i go to my sims 2 folder, the only icon that is available is the sims 2 seasons one and i am only allowed to play that one. i followed the installation order and installed all the expansion packs, but somehow the icons for those aren't there and only the seasons one is there. do you know what the problem is?

hey xelence, its the same in my sims2 folder, i don't know if you are new to the sims or not but usually what happens is the latest expansion pack to be installed becomes the default icon i.e if you decided not to install any past the sims 2 university then university would become the default icon. the other expansion packs should by installed and accessible within the game for example you can go downtown, you can go to university, you can have pets etc

Postergirl.. worked great! I used stuffit and got Sims 2 to work..
One problem.. when I downloaded all the other expansion packs it effected the sims 2 (non cracked) icon and turned that one into Nightlife.. If I delete that one and rename the Sims 2 cracked to Sims 2 it will turn that icon to the nightlife as well but it asks for me to put the CD in... Im new to Mac.. am I doing something wrong? (Is there an easier way to contact you?) AIM perhaps?

The sims 2 folder is copied to my hard drive, but when I try and run the sims 2 in there, it asks me to insert the cd. When I try to run the crack it tells me to reinstall the sims 2. So i'm stumped, anyone know what i'm doing wrong? I'm running Leopard, by the way.

ok, so I actually own sims 2, nightlife, university, open for business, pets and seasons.

I have installed the Sims 2 along with all the expansion packs. Now i'm at the part where i have to install the crack for Seasons. When i try to run it, the crack will say that the game the Sims 2 cannot be found and then it tells me to re-install the game. But the expansion packs were able to locate the Sims 2 easily, why not this crack?

Hi, I have leopard and need a bit of help please. I downloaded sims fine, and have started to add the packs. Do I load all the cracks as i go along or do I just need to install the final seasons cracks?
As for Pets, there is a patch in there, do I need to open it or do I have to move it to a certain destination?
Finally, with a leopard crack for seasons, how do I install it, sorry I am new to macs and so am not sure how to upload a crack just yet.

seems like nearly everyone is having problems with this torrent...
okay, just an idea that might be helpful to some... Why don't you guys just download windows, bootcamp it, and run sims 2 on that? it's a lot easier to make it work, and there is a **** load more seeders...
Then again, if you're just simply a windows hater, like me, then give me a day or two, or six, so I can download this and provide detailed instructions on how to do it right

Okay, My friend the computer genious has figured out what to do, after a full day yesterday of me trying yo run the crack thinking it was an app (noob!) what you need to do is, download everything like he says, then after that when it comes to doing the crack, open it so that the disk image shows and you get the artwork up, then drag it into the sims 2 folder, a message should come up saying something like, there is an older file with the name sims 2 do you want to replace, click yes and then that should be it done. I hope that helped, and omg thanks for the torrent, but a litle more instruction was needed

Works perfect (intel):
1. Download this torrent.
2. Install following the order on install.rtf. Don't apply the Seasons patch
3. Download and install Bon Voyage from http://www.mininova.org/tor/1336558
4. Download intel patch from http://www.mininova.org/tor/1382849
5. Copy the Sims 2 app over the one in your harddisk.
6. Play with all the expansions
NOTE: On the Bon Voyage installation, maybe you have to select manually the location of the The Sims 2 app. No prob with this.

2. Instala el juego y expansiones siguiendo el orden que te muestra en el archivo install.rft. No apliques ningún parche en la instalación.
3. Descarga Bon Voyage:

5. Copia el Sims 2 app crackeado sobre el original en tu disco duro.
6. Juega con todas las expansiones
NOTA: Es posible que durante la instalación de Bon Voyage tengas que seleccionar manualmente donde se encuentra el fichero Sims 2 App. No hay fallo con esto.

Funciona perfecto (en intel macs)
1. Descarga este torrent
2. Instala el juego y expansiones siguiendo el orden que te muestra en el archivo install.rft. No apliques ningún parche en la instalación.
3. Descarga Bon Voyage: http://www.mininova.org/tor/1336558
4. Descarga el parche para intel: http://www.mininova.org/tor/1382849
5. Copia el Sims 2 app crackeado sobre el original en tu disco duro.
6. Juega con todas las expansiones
NOTA: Es posible que durante la instalación de Bon Voyage tengas que seleccionar manualmente donde se encuentra el fichero Sims 2 App. No hay fallo con esto.

I installed everything and the it shows the seasons icon. Every time I click on the icon it says that I need to insert the disk. I tryed the seasons crack and it didn't work. I have no idea what to do.

okeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
so i downloaded it and went into the sims 2 folder in the torrent
i mounted the dmg with toast titanium so it appeared as a disk on the dashboard
double clicked on the disk and went into the sims 2 folder, tried to open The Sims 2 and got a message saying please insert original disk. then tried opening package installer and got a message saying that at least 500 MHz of processing power is required and that i dont have that, even though im doing this on a 2.4 GHz macbook pro.
so basically im stuck

ok so it still says please insert original disk when mounted
when package installer opens i get a box saying please double click a custom content package to install the content
body shop does open though
i am new at torrenting mac so dont assume i know what im doing if you post a help comment
