k i just saved it now i open it, change the setup name and click install.exe and leave it 4 ages??? is that all??? i hope theres no viruses!!!! how do the mods work??

Oh and to add - YOU, the downloader have total choice here. These are rips. Sometimes they are full games repacked & compressed heavily, sometimes "superfluous" content is removed like movies, extra languages, etc. The beauty of most is they are "unpack & play" which means no lengthy separate install and they are precracked for you meaning no separate messing around with no-cd cracks etc.

If you want the "full" game including all the extra "filler" they pad some games out with then grab a proper Group ISO release or something and spare us a few chuckles or sighs at your expense lol

Here's an example of an Info Note that normally accompanies all TOED's rips -

If you're still worried I suggest you either do an online virus scan using multiple products and see what comes of that or just don't download the rips. Your choice...

k dis is like the 3rd time i am downloading dis thing. it keeps messing up. so can sumone please tell me wat im doing wrong. after its done downloading i extract all the winrar files. change etup.bat" to "setup.bat. click install bat and then da page wit da music comes up and wen i click ma mouse the page fades away and it starts extracting. after its done i click on gta apllications and it says that it has encountered a problem. so i was wondering if i shouldn't click ma mouse wen that pages cums up AND IF I SHOULD JUS LEAVE IT ALONE. Okay this is wha you do.
Create a folder in you dekstop (optional)
Find the file you just downloaded.
Open it
use winrar and extract only PACK 1
what till that finishes.
Then open what you just exracted and find etup.bat change that to setup.bat. Nothing else

Close any applications that are running like windows media player or any other one. Then go back and double click _install.bat.
wait,then a movie comes up now wait till the movie finishes and then click any button. WAIT AT LEAST AN HOUR FOR IT TO FINISH. Then find where you extracted the file in the first place, click gta_sa, and thats it.

Sorry I didnt post earlier.

Anywho, No background works mean Nothing running at all except Anti virus and security stuff. so no dwonloading anything. Check windows task manager if any background work is running.

Theres a huge bet that SA is not loading up because of your graphics card.
If it is an onboard ghraphics card then your in trouble. If it ISNT then check if it meets the minumum requirments.

OK, So far i've got this, I have extracted all the RAR's, and got the folder..I have went into it, renamed it to ''setup.bat'', and ran that..
It finished, wont start the game..
did the same thing, but ran ''_install.bat''..didn't work.
Do i need to rename the folder to ''GTA'' to make it work?

hey guys, i need some help with this please.

i downloaded the gta:sa and i mounted the iso image onto daemon tools.
the installer came up and i install it (it was quite fast)
it finished downloaded, then i copied the crack (from the downloaded file) to the c:program files/rockstar games (move and replace = yes!)
i opened the file and nothing came up except black and white flashes, then it stopped!!??
i think there were files missing so i downloaded the msvcr70.dll.
i opened gta once more and this time the black and white flashing came up, but then heard the gta tune and rockstar games opening credits came up !
i waited till the end of the credits then it suddenly stopped, i kept trying it but it did the same thing over and over?? its so close to working...
help??!!

i.e. mine was in
d:\program files\GTA San Andreas\ToeD ripped...\Gta.san.andreas\
It should then look like :
d:\program files\GTA\GTA\GTA
-double click gta_sa.exe

By the way, I certify this torrent is absolutely virus free.
I've got two computers, one with AVG & Avast! an other with BitDefender.
When AVG & Avast! flags it as a "what-ever" virus, BitDefender doesn't report it in any way.

Yeah, it is, but it wont be like proper radio stations, and you wont be able to change them, all you would have to do is download the radio stations and put them in the 'User Tracks' which is found in 'My Documents'

MyFiles\GTA San Andreas User Files\User Tracks\ is the exact name were you put any musix in, like mp3 , ogg , wave , wm? , when done, load the game, go to audio options, and choose "scan user tracks"... to have them added to the "game playlist"!....

good!, make sure you click onto the redball icon (my intro) after renaming, otherwise you have good a chance of receiving in game error (gfx glitches etc.) , reason, your registry needs the NEW info about your renamed folder, as it may still is searching for things in the old registered folder, just to be on the save site, simply double click my intro and after exit you answer again with "yes" and everything should work fine for now... happy gaming!...

don't worry of the torjen etc etc its bcoz of avg anti virus


just follow the simple steps
1 extract all the files in a same folder
2 open and change the name of file etup.bat to setup.bat
3 come back to main folder and run install.bat and wait its done nothing else
after that u can play it as per your pc

Dude, please upload the full game without the startup movies, and drop the texture size down abit..
This is WAY too ripped, and the startup movie is pisen (kill mininova filter pls!!! DAMN IT!!!!!! PLZ!!!!) me off..it makes the game constantly minimise.
This rip is so bad to the point of being unstable, and no matter how hard I try, i cannot get ANY ingame music.
and could you integrate the 1.01 patch too please?

Anyway, sorry but this rip is ok if you just wanna drive around and have fun, but without any voices..it just wrecks the game.
I hope you will fix these problems, and I know for sure i would wait an extra 4hrs to have the full game.

this game may not work if your video card doesnt support it.
i have a mobile intel 945gm and there are many graphics errors
i went to intels website and it told me that gta sa was incompatible
you should go to your manufacturers website

My antivirus came up with a "PUP" (Potentially Unwanted Program) at Low Risk level during install, I clicked heal and continued. Since then my pc has run a full scan every day, nothing has come up in the last 2 days. I believe it to be as he said, just overly cautious anti-virus.

Ok this is ridiculous!! I've wasted 3 hours trying to install this thing twice now and still the same result, whenever I try to open gta_sa.exe I get an error message straight away. So if anyone could please help me it would be greatly appreciated as I do have a limited useage and just used 600mb of it downloading this thing.

So here's what I do:
1) extract part01.rar
2) rename etup.bat to setup.bat
3) run _install.bat
4) the "movie" comes up but never stops playing, keeps repeating itself with nothing happening in the installation window so I click the movie window and it disappears. The installation window asks me to press any key and I do, the installation process begins.
5) the installation finishes and the window closes
6) I double click on gta_sa.exe and I get an error message immediately

If anybody is able to help me please do! Thanks a lot it would be much appreciated!

what you can do is , MOVE the comeplete content of your extracted folder to C\gta\ ... it should look like C:\gta\allthefilehere . try that out, if this doesnt works for you, you go to mainpage, type ToeD on the search panel, seeing my list of uploads, then take a look for GTA san andreas Ultimate 2oo8 ... its the complete game with manymanymanymanymanymany addon'n'extras...

TOED!

I did all the install etc etc. No problems at all and also NO background work. It was all going fineo and then when it had finished (finally lol) i went onto the game folders and saw "gta-sa.exe" so i click it and it does nothing. IDK WHY! There is no error message or anything. I have onboard GFX (ATI up to 256mb) and they work with all otehr games. My spec is by far adequate. Any ideas anyone? help would be goooooooood Plzzz If not ima go get that ultimate one LOL!

downloaded and installed without any problems, ran first time! have only messed about for a few minutes, rode the bike up and down the street a few times etc...so haven't thoroughly tested it but no problems installing. follow iPunker's instructions in #150 and #151 and you should have no issues! Does it work with Vista? -YES! does it work with an integrated video card? -YES! I've got a T7300 core2duo and it only took around 30mins to extract everything but do give it time, wait until the black command box closes! You'll need 4.66gb space for everything to extract (that is some compression toed!!)... the very first scene has no audio in it, so you can get an idea of how much is going to be ripped - i may try and find some add-ons to fill it back up again

I got the game working and hav played about 25% of the missions, but now it freezes at the exact same point everytime. Its in the first mission in san ferrio, called something like 'wear flowers in your hair'. You have to drive to a garage and park up in a red area and beep your horn and i wait a second and it comes up 'gta-sa.exe has stopped working'. Does this every time . Has anyone else had the same problems? Help would be appreciated

someone plz help me I downloaded this game a week ago, I unrared it then changed etup to setup then changed PC_GTA.SanAndreas -(rip)-(ToeD) folders to GTA and it worked flawlessly, but I had to reformat my computer yesterday so i downloaded this game today did the same process but when i click on the gta_sa.exe it tells/gives me error msg "gta_sa.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close" general error msg. Mate personally I dont like the game but it was a great torrent. But no speech or Radio stations but I didn't mind about the radio coz u can use mp3 tunes.

You have to copy/paste the folder which contains the game on the desktop(i dont know why )but it seems to work for me .hope this helps you !!

after downloading the cutscene files just extract and place them on gta\audio\streams folder and replace the original file

if you are downloading all the files than replace the whole audio folder with the downloaded files

what's up with the game play being distorted with this speedy burst of fastness everywhere. I mean it just goes into overdrive sometime time and everything is like stuck on fast forward.? And it distorts missions and sometimes causes a long pause that may be a freeze..and results in restarting the computer.

Please note this DOES have a trojan in the file OneEye.Exe (Or is it 1eye.exe) DO NOT USE _INSTALL.BAT!!!! Rename etup to setup and use that and make sure to delete _setup.bat, 1eye.exe and theirs another file with 1eye... its a test file I believe. Just delete anything that says 1eye and thats about it. I have the game working and I am currently looking for the files to fill in the gaps of the rip ^_^ Anyway Happy Playing

i extracted al the rars and renamed the file then opend the setup.
everything decompressed as planned that worked fine. then i go and open the exe and i get a not responding error.

find the that actually ends with rar. not r00 or any sh .. it like that .
then extract the folder in the rar and only that rar to your desktop. Use the latest winrar. Then close any open programs even the internet then when extracted rename etup.bat to setup.bat. Ok then click the newly renamed setup.bat and follow intructions. Find a new crack for san andreas on gamecopyworld.com and replace it if your sh ... it scared of viruses. And if the downloads to slow use utorrent, and PEOPLE SEED

NOTE: This Game Has No Viruses the only virues was in an addon for the game called Trainer. The trainer is a cheat to get all your lvls up it is not needed otherwise the game is fine.


NOTE: once i unpacked all the files microsoft tells me thires a problem with the game and needs to close what can i do to fix it ?

****py RIP, if u wanna do a compressed RIP, u should do things right and test on different pc settings.
Lots of ppl including me, have problens on their hardware running to open the game. Tried the unrar process 3 times, and all 3, after its done gta_sa crashes or freezes and the game never runs.

Try getting some lessons from skullptura next time willya?

The "cutscene" audio's ripped (Its already mentioned) but you can always turn on the subtitles. If u really need it you will have to get another copy mate :-)

But you are getting the in-game sounds rite??

"music came on and wordz came across a black space skreen saying sanandreas r.i.p..." Thats the initial extraction process...it will gone on for 10-20mins and will ask to "press any key".

Now the real extraction will start...about 1-1½ hrs....the extracted size's about 4.5GB so you can guess the level of compression :-)

Dont bother downloading this one...this is a complete bull***** no radio stations and no ***`ing cutscenes... always crashes...

i downloaded another release and its a little bit larger than this stupid release but it has everything i need all the radio stations and all of the ctscenes 100% perfect dont know uploaded by someone called Slipoutkayzz 2008 or something like that with over 600 seeds and less than 100 leachers

no virus no bull**** perfect installation and perfect working condition. thanks uploader BUT YOU SHOULD HAVE MENTIONED THIS TINY DETAIL:

This game cannot be finished. it comes inbuilt with the hot coffee mod. and because of this, the 'Key to her heart" mission in las venturas is not finishable due to an extra impossible-to-pass minigame added due to the hot coffee mod.

If you people want to finish the game, download the original script files main.scm and script.img from here http://www.gta-downloads.com/database.php?act=file&id=6708 and replace the ones after installing this game. if you save a game in the current state, that savefile will always have this bug and you wont be able to finish it. so BEFORE you start playing the game make sure you do this. Seeing as nobody mentioned this before, i just wanted to give everyone a heads-up.

I was about 40% into this download (took all day) and then my computer got really slow and sloppy so i retarsted it and when it started back up it said i had a virus and about 150 infected files and i have only just been able to get the internet to work and i want to know if it was this download that did it cuz i really want this game.

Been playing this for a few days now and it's been working alright, the only problem with it (for me that is) is that it has a 33.333333333% chance of freezing when i either go to the main menu (Esc it) or just go back to windows. Apart from this problem its pretty darn good for 600mb but I'm now downloading the full version because I just can't stand driving without the radio!!!

I've installed this game on 2 of my other PC's and they worked just great...so thanks!...
But I tried it on my laptop and after going throught everything (renaming,set-up,installation, w/e), I clicked on the gta-sa exe file and it just sent me an error report. I've never had this problem before...except for now...any help please?

not a virus

if it does not start check your task manager and in the "processes" tab look for it then kill the process and log off re log in and try it again that's what worked for me

This game DOES work. You just have to follow the steps exactly. I use to know TOED and he showed me this. He used Teamviewer and installed it for me using the same steps! All you have to do is follow them.

Absolutely brilliant! Thanks so much! However, the instructions could have been more detailed (don't get me wrong - most of the ****s here complaining that it isn't working are just ********).

For those who are still having trouble:

1. Extract "PC_GTA.SanAndreas -(rip)-(ToeD).part01.rar". I used 7-zip (www.7-zip.org)
2. Go into the folder the files have been extracted into
3. Go into the "GTA.San.Andreas" folder
4. Rename "etup.bat" to "setup.bat"
5. Go back to the previous folder
6. Run "_install.bat". Wait until it is done
7. Put the newly extracted files in your "Program Files"
8. Rename the folder they are in to "GTA"
9. Run "gta_sa.exe"

i really want this game to work but this is the third time to download and fifth time to install it. i followed all the instructions and it come up with gta_sa.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
after it installed, my norton deleted the 'trogen' (that everyone is saying) before i could stop it. if that file is deleted is that why that error comes up?

Simple and easy steps:

Extract : PC_GTA.SanAndreas -(rip)-(ToeD).part01
Then change "etup" to "setup"
Then double click that.
W8 for about...couple of hours.
Once done, Change both folders to "GTA"

Then play ! :]

update directx and change compatiblity of the exe incase it still doest starts, and if this all doesnt help.

you grab another no cd exe from certain places, might be an incompatibility problem you have (guess you are on Vista!, good luck at all then! )
