axman I use your convertx 2.2.3 and it is great can you tell me if its worth d/l convertx3 or are they almost the same

Well if 2.2.3 does all what you need you do not need to upgrade. I did my best up to the last version to remove all embedded "phone homes".
However 2.2.3 seems to be more safe.
Another thing. If you rip DVD's, the ripping speed slow down with most drives they have riplock. Modify the dvd drive firmware can remove the speed limit (in case you rip dvd's - DVDFab ...etc...).
By self i dont update software as long my installed versions do all what i want from it to do.

AxMan2007 it seems that i am having a problem with this ConvertXtoDVD program and hoping that you could help me out or tell me what i am doing wrong. I am downloading movies that i believe are in DIVX format. and after i download them i use ConvertX to convet and then burn them. and this is the part where i run into the problem. after i burn them the only dvd platform wit will play on is my xbox 360 console and no other dvd players. i even too it over to my aunts house and tryed to play it through the wii and her dvd players also and i still got the same results. so my question to you is am i downloading the right movies? or is there a step that i am missing? thabks alot for your time AxMan2007 and i hope that you can help.
