YOU MUST TYPE IN THE SERIAL, YOU CANNOT COPY PASTE IT IN

HI!! I'M HAVING POBLEMS INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE, IN 88%, APPEARS A MESSAGE SAYING THAT "THE FILE MacApp.ZIP IS CORRUPTED, TRY AGAIN" SO I TRYED...NOTHING AT ALL, SO I WENT IN TO THE FOLDER "PARTS" OF THE ISO FILE, WERE THIS AND OTHER FILES ARE, ZIP FILES I CANNOT OPEN, THE MESAGE "FILE CORRUPTED" KEEPS POPING UP...AFTER 3 DAYS DOWNLOADING ...IT DOESN'T WORK...ANY BODY HAS AN IDEA OF WHAT'S GOIN'ON? CAN THIS BE FIXED?

Hi, i've got the same problem it stopped about 88%. I'll tried a second time and it's working. I've got the same with the service package. So please give it a second time.

thx for download - serial works fine when typed in - unfortunately this only updates an existing copy of VW2008 - need original in folder to install update - will not update VW12 or VW12.5

sorry - ignore previous comment - once I realised that the .iso file contained the VW2008 application this worked perfectly - many thanks for the download. Do not try to install the updater as it requires direct connection to the VW site to verify the serial.

I guess.... if you got a good serial... and you do the update through an open wifi. Will they found you?
I assume they track only the IP? Can't get other info on you? ( like machine serial number)

The serial provided works fine but when I instal the SP1 the serial doesn't work even if I tipe it in the box.
Could any one help me with that, like posting a valid SP1 serial??

I was able to install it, but when the actual program loads, it says:
could not find the factory default preferences in VectorWorks Preferences.mxl.
Please reinstall VectorWorks.
will re-installing actually fix this???

hi can anyone please help!!! i keep trying to load this...i used power iso and opened the files and so far good, then i select SETUPSERIESA.exe as it says..follow the the steps and put the serial number but after that when it asks to SPECIFY DESTINATION..no matter what i do even create a new folder etc, it still asks for 'SELECT EXSISTING VBECTORWORKS 2008' how do i get past this. i tried at my friends who has vectorworks 12.5.1 and tried selecting that as exsisting installation but still doesnt work and it asks the same thing SELECT EXSISTING VBECTORWORKS 2008'. please does anyone knaow what i am doing wrong??

hey guys, you have to install vectorworks first... and then the update.
the SETUPSERIESA.exe is the update so it keep asking for the EXSISTING VBECTORWORKS 2008...
...and that´s my point (above on post 21) i've installed on mac with no problems... works good.
But in windows... i can´t find the vectorworks setup application.
Anyone?

tkenopic, sorry if I am not being that specific I am not that good with this sorta stuff. I did it by chance. I am on PC. I doubled clicked on that SETUPSERIESA then it started to run. then it asked to specified desintion and i clicked on VectorWorks 12.5 and it wouldnt work then I clicked on VectorWorks 12 and 11 and it still didnt work! then i started to click on folders randomly and it wen i clicked on on the folder quick time it word.
if u dont have Quick time player it will not install n e way.

Thanks for the post Vector. Still not happening for me. Any other help out there would be great. Here's my situation, running Vista on a PC, using Magic ISO to open the ISO file, double click on the SETUPSERIESA.exe, type in the serial from the .txt file and get to where it says select destination. I select a location, then it says please select an existing version of Vectorworks, which I don't have. I have tried unpacking some of the zips with WINRAR, still no luck. Any suggestions out there? Is this just an update for existing software? Thanks

If you don't have quicktime Player, it will be installed.
Don't be scared during the installation it's going slow @ 70,71 and 72%.
Updating SP1 isn't posible because it's a wrong SN.
And no I haven't found one that does work.
Anyway, it doesn't matter because I'm not the one who's going to use it.
Installed it on Windows xp. Using PowerISO to mount the image.
