Fully WOrking Pro tools 7.4..

3.Posted by abjectevolution on Feb 02 2008 at 00:10

No... it is not fully working. The MP3 option does not work. The crack does nothing. This problem has been reported on sites all over the place. If you want to use this copy of Pro Tools, you will have to export songs into wav format and then use a seperate program to convert them to MP3's. Everything else seems to work pefectly though. I hope AiR releases a MP3 option fix... and soon!

4.Posted by abjectevolution on Feb 02 2008 at 00:12

Oh and I should also mention, that what is almost MORE annoying is the fact that I bought the MP3 codec for Pro Tools 7.1... yet this version wont even let me authorize the plugin with my purchased code. The authorize button isn't even there.

5.Posted by NickB2005 on Feb 02 2008 at 23:51

i had no problems with crack, but when i did run this program, the dialog box appared: "Unable to locate M-Audio hardware. Make sure your hardware is connected and turned on" Does this program works only with M-Audio hardware?
Is there any M-Audio emulator?

what kind of idiot downloads protools to make mp3s?? I hope you guys realize that CoolEdit Pro does the same thing this bloated hog does and doesn't require specialized hardware to run...

17.Posted by ladydj on Mar 11 2008 at 22:46

you don't have to call us idiots! i want protools to learn how to use it. i have cooledit and i do love it, but i want protools as well, and not just to make mp3's.

18.Posted by pallipoiss on Mar 12 2008 at 13:58

to ladydj
i only followed the instruction to crack it. You just have to replace some files. I recommend to read readme.txt :) Good luck

19.Posted by pallipoiss on Mar 12 2008 at 14:03

Does this Protools works without M-Audio hardware? Which driver i have to download to run Protools? Anyone???

20.Posted by TheBandsBus on Mar 13 2008 at 02:38

YOU MUST A HAVE A M-AUDIO Interface USB,Firewire,or pci soundcard will do it. Bottom Line it won't work without one. The Pro Tools M-Powered site is very helpful, they even list some Microsoft patch that is required for XP sp2 to run it stable. I can't emphasize more go to there site & read, go to M-Audio's Support for there soundcards & read about using P.T.s M-Audio with there interfaces it will help you to Grok there "industry dominating way's". AND I MUST SAY if you want to ever work or Rec. your band or self in a real Studio This is the program to learn on. Great UP. TheBandsBus......

thx pallipoiss

24.Posted by Pirateforpyros on Apr 08 2008 at 05:05

ok..there's a lot of confusion..i will try to help with what i do know...yes, you need m-audio hardware to use m-powered software...and this version will work without an ilok..you just have to do as the readme file says...which i will explain a bit...there's 3 folders ...labeled 1,2,3
there's a protools setup in folder one and two...with an additional crack folder within each folder also..the cracked folder has another protools setup within it..that you need to replace the original with. the 3rd folder is the setup for plug ins..
open the first...setup protools.exe..after installation..then replace the files in your program files folder..do this by deleting...then go to your cracked folder..copy the protools setup(cracked one) and replace..pay attention to where you need to replace the files...a few are not in the digidesign folder in your program files...some are in your common files...i see why no one wants to explain this now...but if you have any questions..e-mail at Danielx15one@hotmail.com

25.Posted by jiohn on Apr 10 2008 at 02:41

Thx Pirateforpyros, but is there an update for cs3?

26.Posted by Pirateforpyros on Apr 13 2008 at 09:30

i don't know...i know you only need cs2 to get this program fully working..the cs2 update is in folder 2.

Does anybody have the crack for DV TOOLKIT??

28.Posted by NEKRO-MACHINE on Apr 26 2008 at 01:45

I Have Never Seen A Crack For The Original DV TOOLKIT Or The Updated DV TOOLKIT 2, & 4 Good Friends Who Need It For LE 7.1 & 7.3 Between Them. I Use An 'Uncracked' iLOK Authorised Version Of PT M-Powered 7.3.1. So A Cracked DV Toolkit Would Be Useless To Me But Because Of My Friends BLOODTHIRST For Thr 'KIT' I Always Try Looking For It, But It Is Non-Existent As Far As I Know. 2 Of Them Use XP & Two Use OSX (?Tiger?/?Leopard? Or Whatever) So Its Is Definately Not A Platform Issue. It Really Does Beg To Be Cracked Though Because Of The Hugely Overpriced RRP (It's Like £929 Pounds Sterling Including VAT @ 17.5%)

29.Posted by AXMattUK on May 06 2008 at 18:16

What is the M-Audio hardware btw? Protools LE doesn't require extra hardware does it? i'm sure I seen it in sound control without any hardware!

Update this torrent asap!

Cheers

30.Posted by lurch1977 on May 10 2008 at 20:57

for this to work properly, you need to buy an M-Audio hardware device. I recommend the MobilePRE USB for a low cost access device. You can get it for around $50 on eBay. For a top notch device, pick-up the 1010LT Card for $200 new. I have yet to try using MOTU or other devices with this, but wouldn't mind finding out about this option, anyone else know?

Hi guys, I actually have M-audio hardware but it is not working. I have fast track usb and when I run the program it says that there is no M-audio hardware detected. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

32.Posted by artright on May 12 2008 at 10:24

I hope that I can help all of you. I recently bought an M-Audio Keyboard and it came with S/W. So if all of you can keep your hats on for three or four days(be in the hospital with MS and cancer) I'll be downloading a copy of it. I'm not talking drivers but the applications and the serial numbers.

33.Posted by talipoo on May 21 2008 at 18:42

Would anyone be kind enough to spell out in detail the step by step process of installing this properly so it actually works?
Many of us are following the directions but still running into the ilok issue so we must be doing something wrong, but don't know what it is.
Please???

34.Posted by Arly on Jun 13 2008 at 01:33

Guys it's very easy...i just got it working for the first time easily.

run setup in folder 1....and drag and drop files from crack to appropriate locations listed in the readme in each crack folder.

repeat for 2..then 3.

i purchased http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/FastTrackPro-main.html

download latest drivers for your interface (fast track pro in my case) and install them.

pro tools will load.

all you need is an interface, iLok is not required.

35.Posted by kpkplo on Jun 15 2008 at 04:47

totally working. ilok not requiered. :)

first i had some issues because i hadnt the latest drivers...
i had downloaded them just some days ago but were not the same in this link:

http://www.m-audio.com/index.php?do=support&tab=driver

lets see what my m-audio ozone can do with this software

36.Posted by Babytronix on Jun 20 2008 at 02:56

Tengo la misma pregunta....El iLok...como lo instalo?o que demonios es? que debo hacer?si hay alguien que pueda responder en español, seria excelente. sino, bueno, Tambien en ingles me sirve.

37.Posted by withthetyrant on Jul 02 2008 at 04:03

yes this is very easy follow arly

38.Posted by cdogg on Jul 22 2008 at 05:55

"PLEASE HELP" I have downloaded this torrent and put all of the crack files in place <this part works>. Now when I open pro tools the software does not recognise my hardware! I have a M-AUDIO firewire solo interface installed and conected by usb. What now?

39.Posted by anto11 on Jul 23 2008 at 16:41

:) works great!!!

It doesn't recognize older pro-tools sessions though. Some plugins come up with a DAE error... pretty annoying.

Definately going to upgrade from cubase to pro-tools now!

40.Posted by rusic on Aug 13 2008 at 18:47

it's all workin...just remember to fix all files..just a little specification: when you add omf.dll, you DON'T HAVE TO ELIMINATE

41.Posted by rusic on Aug 13 2008 at 18:49

SORRY...I'LL REPEAT..WHEN YOU DRAG AND DROP THE OMF.DLL FILE, YOU DONT HAVE TO ELIMINATE THE OMF TOOLKIT.DLL FILE, AS YOU DID IN ALL THE OTHER FILES REPLACEMENTS

42.Posted by FunkyHouse04 on Aug 18 2008 at 01:27

i have installed everything as per the instructions. Now it give me the "m-audio harware not found" error. I have the M-AUDIO keystation pro 88 connected to my laptop and I have the latest drivers. I can use Reason with it properly. Does ProTools work only with an M-AUDIO sound card? Cuz this keyboard is a MIDI controller and does not have a soundcard.

Any idea?

43.Posted by Cormega on Aug 21 2008 at 20:02

Good question Funky. I have an Axiom 25 and was wondering the same thing... :?

44.Posted by Cormega on Aug 21 2008 at 23:49

FunkyHouse, negative. Doesn't work with my Axiom 25. Seems it's strictly the devices listed are the ones supported :'(

45.Posted by miniGMgoit on Sep 25 2008 at 11:26

One thing I would say about this version is that I have installed it oin 2 different comptuers but it seems to be very unstable.
When adding new tracks it will often make the sound card crash. I have an M-Audio 18/14 and have attempted to run this version of Pro-Tools on 2 very new laptops. Both experience the same problems. I have also installed it on both laptops several times.
It works when it feels like it.
I think I may just buy Pro-Tools instead.

Has anybody else tried this with VISTA 64bit and kept getting a missing hardware error?

Just so everyone knows - This works 100% perectly with XP SP2.

47.Posted by Ch-Records on Oct 02 2008 at 23:43

ok so i have done the set up and its on my computer but i keep on getting this error message saying that i need to turn on and plug in my device. But it is and iv installed the driver for the interface several times thinking that might be the problem but still it isnt working i have a fast track ultra 8 has anyone had the same problem if so can you plz tell me what you have done to fix it.

48.Posted by crashed011 on Oct 09 2008 at 11:02

i would like to tnk all those patient people who helped me :) :) :) :)

49.Posted by audiosudak on Oct 25 2008 at 23:09

Hi all. I have a Profiere 610 and Installed the software properly and replaced tha files as indicated (it's very easy) but when I launch the software it says "Unable to locate m-audio hardware..." I have the last drivers and nothing. I think maybe tha las m-audio interfaces (profire, fastrack ultra, etc) are not supported yet. If any one has a solution please post it.

Thanks.

50.Posted by valiumboy101 on Oct 28 2008 at 07:29

Audiosudak, I'm kind of in the same boat. I bought a Profire 2626, and I'm trying to get this to work. I know you need to have M-Powered updated to CS4 in order for it to detect your interface. I'm messing with this update, and hopefully I can get it to work.

Does anybody if this will work for a Mac G5?

51.Posted by johnnymonteiro on Nov 03 2008 at 03:37

me too...
Unable to locate m-audio hardware...(fast track pro)

i'm wondering if it's because of the cs patch...
this one is CS2...
for profire series u need cs5...or 4...

52.Posted by johnnymonteiro on Nov 03 2008 at 13:46

I saw that this **** doesn't support X64 vista...
is this true?!

that's unbeliavable... I mean, its a Daw, why?!
it's not a ***** hardware... (although it needs the driver for ilock...)

53.Posted by kooked on Nov 21 2008 at 01:41

This needs M-Audio gear its just the way its is deal with it!!! :'(

Do you think these guys will have M-Powered 8 out soon after the release?

54.Posted by releven on Nov 28 2008 at 21:45

OK, so i will ask again
This all worked 100% perfectly for me on my XP SP2 System.
I have an M-Audio Fast Track Pro

Now i have VISTA, installed it the same way
But i am getting the following error:
Unable to locate m-audio hardware

Does anyone have any advice?
Thanks.

55.Posted by kooked on Dec 05 2008 at 00:42

Warning DOES NOT WORK with FAST TRACK ULTRA or Pro Fire!!! First it does not find M-Audio Hardware. So you need update to Cs5 or more but when this is installed the crack does not work and it looks for the ilok??? I then tried replacing the exe again but get a "0 String" error or something like that anyway and the program shuts down. This is a ****** nightmare. I just spent 300 euro on a sound card and now I have no pro-tools I need it for Uni!! :'( Can't afford to spend another 300 on Pro Tools!! Don't suppose anyone knows any way it could be fixed/Cracked?????

56.Posted by miniGMgoit on Dec 15 2008 at 08:04

It kind of works. It does often seem to disconnect the sound card calling for a reboot each time.
I think I'll have better luck with cubase if I can find a working vista version :(

57.Posted by ckytok on Jan 07 2009 at 09:35

I deleted the program ..just not worth all this fugn time :( '

laggy program and you need a interface plus I gotta Vista.. poor me.

Virus free though.

58.Posted by virul187 on Jan 08 2009 at 16:28

Works for Xp Sp2 but sadly, NOT VISTA COMPATIBLE :(

59.Posted by imrios on Jan 16 2009 at 06:53

Arly, I ran the setup on folder 1, but I am not sure how to drag and drop the files to the location on readme

Could you please help me out and explain how I can do it, please?

It would help a lot

Thanks

60.Posted by Kennyman on Jan 22 2009 at 04:31

Install on Vista-32 without any issues. Works perfectly with Fast Track Ultra. I did a driver update for the interface first then install this torrent. You need to have m-audio harware not protools hardware with pro tools M-powered. M-audio 64 bit drivers are still in beta, so I would suggest to use 32 bit os for now.

I have no idea of what virul187 & ckytok is talking about Vista. This torrent is fully compatible with Vistax84.

Imrios - Just copy and paste in their relevant folder will do.

This torrent works fine and I have recorded tracks and moved to soundforge to change to mp3. It works fine.

61.Posted by raykeyz on Feb 03 2009 at 05:11

this link below will show you compatibility issues with the 7.4version

http://www.digidesign.com/index.cfm?navid=54&langid=1&eid=4737

Fast track ultra
Fast track ultra 8R
PRofire 2626
Profire 610

m-audio models above and keyboard controllers (except keystudio49i) are not supported by the 7.4 version and there is no update you can do to fix this
unless you buy a full version 8.0

62.Posted by badboy707 on Feb 17 2009 at 00:24

ilok is only needed if you add the mp3 plugin. Directions are on the AIR Icon. Open with notepad

63.Posted by nave on Mar 11 2009 at 07:50

65.Posted by ballistic05 on Mar 12 2009 at 16:10

I can't Export... its unavailable. did I do something wrong?

66.Posted by Robikus on Mar 21 2009 at 23:26

Says I need to update my windows XP but it doesn't tell me what update I need. And I er, um, can't update windows for lets just say personal reasons.

67.Posted by Robikus on Mar 21 2009 at 23:27

oh, to be clear, this is an error I get upon the first install.

68.Posted by Ch-Records on Apr 13 2009 at 17:15

K so here is what i did to solve the problem of it not finding my hardware so if anyone is having this kinda of trouble where it says it cant find the m-audio hardware try turning it on or what not. I just downloaded the update from the digidesign website then put the first crack file in the folder and no more of that problem....
But now i have another :?
i go to start it up and i get an error of 0 length strength now if anyone nows what i need to do to fix it just put it on the comment wall so that way it well help others with the same problem.

69.Posted by CallMeNJ on May 14 2009 at 13:12

Works perfectly, I have an 'M-Audio Delta 66' interface.

70.Posted by I_Crack_Nutz on Jun 04 2009 at 21:03

I followed the instructions and did everything as it said to do, although at the end of it all I click on the icon to load the program and nothing loads. My harddrive has a little activity but then goes silent. I am running sp3 if that makes a difference.

Also when it asks you to restart do you do that right at the end after everything is installed and all the cracks in place?

71.Posted by deeshan on Jun 07 2009 at 05:21

I second I_Crack_Nutz's comment. Installed everything as the instructions specify, click on the Pro Tools M-Powered icon and while the ProTools M-Powered.exe process is listed in Windows Task Manager the program itself doesn't run or even appear on the screen.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling a number of times, using CCleaner to clean the registry. I too am using XP-SP3 but I'd imagine that's ok since it's been out for a while now.

If anyone can help it would be most appreciated, otherwise I think I'll stick with Cubase.

72.Posted by deeshan on Jun 07 2009 at 06:26

BTW, does anyone have Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 (SP1) installed, or just the required .NET 1.1?

Just wondering since I had 2.0 installed first and then Pro Tools installed 1.1 and perhaps there's a conflict there? (and I'd rather not uninstall 2.0 if I don't have to)

I've also confirmed I_Crack_Nutz's problem (and mine) with the demo version of Pro Tools M-Powered, so it's not because of this AiR release.

73.Posted by plumberchris on Jun 07 2009 at 07:27

does anyone know where i can get the complete project toolkit at, i am having trouble finding it

74.Posted by I_Crack_Nutz on Jun 08 2009 at 16:47

*PLEASE READ*

Deeshan, I think this will apply to you..

While doing a bit of digging on the net, it became apparent to me that the reason why pro tools wasn't loading up, although it says its running in the processes list, is because it has conflict with Internet Explorer 8.

All I did to rectify the problem was uninstall IE8 and revert back to IE 7, and walla. It works perfectley. so deeshan give that ago and it should work for you. I must of installed it about 6 times before finding this out lol.

75.Posted by deeshan on Jun 10 2009 at 15:43

See how easy life can be. >-)

Thanks I_Crack_Nutz. Not only is Pro Tools up and running but I now have another reason not to use IE.

No... it is not fully working. The MP3 option does not work. The crack does nothing. This problem has been reported on sites all over the place. If you want to use this copy of Pro Tools, you will have to export songs into wav format and then use a seperate program to convert them to MP3's. Everything else seems to work pefectly though. I hope AiR releases a MP3 option fix... and soon!

******...Even when ya pay for protools it has restricted use of this feature. So u may have to ask digidesign to fix this for you hahaha
