do i need a beter pc to play it .now i got is Intel Pentium 4 CPU 2.4Ghz 640 ram. But still runs slow very slow

To use this on vista..
Right click on the icon...
go to properties...
choose compatibility tab..
choose windows 98/ME
and click apply.. should work..
i was having same problems as vedro & sih393 but now its working perfectly..

Is this really a 2007 F1 game? I can't find any info about it on the net. Also, I thought Sony had exclusive rights to F1 and so only Sony could release F1 games?

Worked after changing compatibility. Im on vista. Im using a Logitech G25 wheel for this game and it was fun for about 10min. I'll stick with GTR2 and LFS.

There is no install file in this RAR file. How do I install this game on my computer after Ive extracted all the files to a folder?

edinhodolatim -- To use this on vista..
Right click on the icon...
go to properties...
choose compatibility tab..
choose windows 98/ME
and click apply.. should work..

Thanks ammo999, but the first thing I tried was double clicking the F1 2007.exe file, but nothing happened. There must be a conflict somewhere else. Im running XP so I didnt expect a problem. If anyone has any other thoughts I would appreciate it.

Anyone getting a Insufficient disk swap or virtual memory. I know its not my PC. Increased the virtual mem... XP SP2, followed the post #9 direction too.

btw it works with vista but you have to do what ammo999 says.
i would also run the "3D CONFIG" first and foremost, also run this in "windows 98/me" compatibility. i couldnt get the game to run until i did this.

Folks, download GTR2 instead. You can download updated tracks and f1 2008 cars, lot better than ****ty old F1 Challenge from 2002

I took the downloaded files, opened it with WinRar and extracted it to my hard drive. No key or serial needed. It's a little too big to fit on a CD disk. I just took the original downloaded file and saved that to a CD in case I needed it later.
Don't know what all the complaining is about. I'm running XP and it works fine for me. Beautiful graphics, very realistic. Good controls using a joystick. Many, many options for setting up your car. One thing is you really need a good graphics card. I have a ATI Diamond Viper 3450 HD 512 mb and it works perfectly with full graphics turned up. Can't stop playing with it. If you love driving formula 1 cars, like I do, this is the game for you.
I rate this game 11 out of 10!

i mean, when i play a long race and need to go to the pit, if i put a Hard tire and need to put a Wet tire, how do i do to change?

for the overheating problem you need to turn the radiator intake from 1 to 5 or 6 depends on teams

don´t put the mechanical failures off you take the fun of the game the right thing to do is what i learn from people who play this for a long time is to put the gears manual instead of auto and when the engine starts to overheat you use like 4, 5 gear instead of 2,3 gear and try to low the rpm that is good to use only in the qualify in the highest rpm possible.

Just download it an try it. The game works fine on XP SP3, only tried a few circuits and cars.
It's a big deception for me... Last f1 game that I played was F1 2002. I was not expecting F1 2007 to be almost the same as the 5 years older game.
Seems that EA ****s big time. All their games bring too few new things from one year to another. Maybe they should concentrate more before releasing a game. We want quality, not quantity, you EA ******s...

Try to search in google for "birkuc gold" or "birkuc platinum" is the best mod for f1 challenge . The 2008 full season(includding night race). just download and install. work fine without any problem. Just try

I get this error every time i try to run the game
"Insufficient disk swap space or virtual memory on this computer
Minimum of 150mb of swap space required to run F1 Challenge 99-02 "
I got 512mb ram and about a 1gb of virtual memory and running on XP+SP3
My graphics card isnt all that great
But i doubt the problem's iwth my gfx card coz F1 2002 works perfectly fine at the highest settings
So could it be a problem with my gfx card ? or is it someother problem
Also post#67 smallinakai said u got to copy all f1 challenge files to the F1 2002 directory..
Is this necessary coz doing that overwrites many files of f12002 and would render f12002 unplayable... And i really need f12002 coz thats the only f1 game i got...

well i downloaded this game, this is a fentastic game, runs very smoothly, thanx for the uploader.i'm loving playing this game.
but my problem is evry 2 to 3 laps engine gets heated, pit crew says to shift to left engine, but i dont know how to, pls anyone who knows pls let me know. Thanks in advance.
