decks cannot be saved unless you know how to use the deck.ydc file..if not then you just waste your time with a boring game..

the cards can be saved normally.
just go to deck construction, export, and enter a desired name for ur deck, hit enter.

Try this: First make sure that you have C:\Program Files\KONAMI\Yu-Gi-Oh! Power of Chaos Common folder. If not-create one. Then click Start-run-type "regedit" -enter.Then - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> KONAMI -> Yu-Gi-Oh! Power of Chaos -> System. Make sure that "CommonDir" points "Yu-Gi-Oh! Power of Chaos Common" (C:\Program Files\KONAMI\Yu-Gi-Oh! Power of Chaos Common). if not, then fix it. GL

I have that file in my register, and I have the folder in Program Files. I can also run the game, and when I try to export a deck it says it's succesfull. But I can't import any deck and I also can't save replays. I also can't use the Yugi cards in the Kaiba and Joey game or the Kaiba cards in the Joey game. Help plz?

Can you explain in much simpler words its very hard to follow the
instructions you have
1.My first question is do i just create a file named KONAMI\Yu-Gi-Oh! Power of Chaos and put all three games in it or wait untill i do the regedit thing?
2. i got as far as opening regedit and folling to where KONAMI file is located
but i don't know what to do next?

If everything is done properly, the installation of the game should create folder with the name KONAMI.In this folder there should be 4 folders-3 folders with the three games and one folder with the name " Yu-Gi-Oh! Power of Chaos Common " . If such folder does not exist, you just create it - new folder, put the right name. You do not put anything in this folder. Then you click the newly made folder and copy its address. Then you do all the regedit stuff till you reach Konami-yu gi oh power of chaos and then system. Click on system so on the right the commonDir would appear, right click on commonDir-Modify and paste the address if it differs.

it does have all three games and they all work
(you may have some problems with saving your deck though
but dont worry ask around someone might know how to fix it)

OK, I think I understand what people are saying is wrong. The Kaiba and Joey games work perfect (as far as I can tell) but there is one problem with the Yugi game. You CAN save (export) decks, and you CAN load (import) them as wel, but for some reason no matter what I do as soon as I leave the deck construction mode the game reverts back to the original deck for you to play with. So, technically, the import and export are working fine, but the problem is that you lose whatever deck you have built, imported, or whatever, as soon as you go to actually play the game.
Also, I have done all of the "fixes" mentioned above and it does make the game run smoother, but the problem with not being able to use a custom deck in the Yugi game is still there exactly the same.
That said, this is an awesome download and the other two game sowkr great... and so does the Yugi game if you don't mind being stuck with the default deck.

hei guys i just wanted to say that you can play this game online at http://duelcentral.com/ for free and yes i know that it is not made for online playing but buy simply installing hamache you can simulate lan enviroment, the guys at duel central have done a gerat job of explaining exactley whou to do this and there is eaven a chat room where you can talck to people and and provocke them to a duel if you have any questions just asck

I FEEL SORRIE FOR YOU PEOPLE WHO DONT KNOW HOW TO HACK THE GAME TO UNLOCK ALL THE CARDS. YOU CAN DO THIS THE HARD WAY USING A TRAINER OR YOU CAN BYPASS THAT BY USING WHATS CALLED A PATCH. I WAS ABLE TO HACK ALL 3 GAMES (THE YUGI, KAIBA AND JOEY VERSIONS). IN ORDER TO UNLOCK ALL THE CARDS...ONE HAS TO CHANGE THE BINARY #S (FROM REGISTRY) USING A PATCH. ONLY I HAVE THE PATCH FILE FOR THIS GAME...NOT THAT MANY PEOPLE KNOWS AND GO ABOUT THIS...HAHAHA!

u can ollsow chainge the regestry manualy it's not that big a deal:
The registry can be opened with the launch command in the start menu by tipping regedit
ok then you can see 5 directories, hkey_classes_root, hkey_current_user, hkey_local_machine, hkey_users and hkey_current_config
for us only hkey_current_machine is interesting. open it and then software and konami.
thats where the instalol and game informations for yugi oh is saved.
the keys for the directories can be found under hkey_local_machine>software>konami>Yugi Oh! Power of Chaos>system
change the common dir key by double clicking it with the left mouse button and change it to your common dir(llok above for the standart dir, can vary depending on where you have installed yugi oh)
after you have done this you need to change the InstallDirJ to your Yugi Oh Joey the Passion dir. do it like above.
then you can simply quit the registry, it saves itself.

You're right! Its not difficult to open up the registry/modifying it by using the regedit command. However, I'm not just talking about fixing the game so one can be able to save. I'm talking about modifying some of the #s in the registry part of the game so you can unlock every card in the decks (All three games will unlock all the the unknown cards). Only I know what the magic #s are. I have the patch file which shows the magic #. I know this because I was able to crack this game like 3 yrs ago. Too sad for you since you probably dont know what i'm talking about. I dont know what version you guys have, but i have the ISO format version of all 3 games. Maybe you guys have the RAR version. My versions comes with the crack replacement exe file and trainers (winning @ start of the game), plus patch files to unlock all cards. LoLz. You guys interested??? hollar @ me tom****g@gmail.com

ok computer noob here too so 3 thing i would like to know

hey!!!! thanx first of all for all of your instructions - i managed to handle the save thing and now i can import and export decks..however as long as start a new duel the new obtained cards are not included in my deck and hence although i earn lots of cards and save them , i cannot use them in a duel!!!!! is this part of the game or i have again a problem?????? thanx

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR WINDOWS VISTA USERS on
SAVING PROBLEMS
I use Windows Vista and had the same problem with saving my deck and importing it back.
Check these options:
1) Registry entry (mentioned above)
2) Make sure that you have full rights to read and write the KONAMI folder
3) Run the game as Administrator once
After that, the game saved everything normally for me.
If you still experience problems, try to run the game always as Administrator. (but as we saw its still not 100% that it'll work)

Yes it work on vista but make sure you change your color to windows basic
How to change to windows basic easy 
(if you dont know follow my instructions)
1.on desktop click on right button of your mouse and go to the last option something like personalize or properties just click on the last one.
2.then click on the windows and colours changer (first one)and change it to basic easy as that
3.LAsT ONE VERY IMPORTANT!!!!.....ENJOY
