Wanted to experiment and give it a try. Followed your intstructions stated in the original torrent comments strictly, but I'm sorry to say that it didn't work. After keygen, reconnect to internet, update and reboot I immediately got the message that the key was expired. The online patch didn't make any difference. Tried it again after restoring my windows image. But then the update after the keygen already didn't work well. So, lost a few hours on this all and didn't pay off for me (may be different for others, though).

after connecting to the internet and updating you must reboot and disconnect immediately again. after reboot, shutdown bitdefender and apply patch, try that. bitdefender immediately connects to their server and it will see that the key has expired. i didnt realize to add that in because i have verizon so i have to manually connect to the internet each time. patch works. check out the comments on my page at h33t

Yeah, ok. Realized that, just after the first try went bad and did exactly what you proposed the second time. But after the first connect the update was abended end (error code stating my key wasn't valid) end got the same end result...
Maybe because of the wrongly ended first try next attempts are blocked, but since I restored my install through an image restore I wonder how they could do that. Maybe through blacklisting my IP address???
Would it really be worth another try? Or just revert to Kaspersky?

well, thats all up to you i suppose bitdefender i find is the best but thats all up to opinion. i couldnt see how ur ip was blocked because i had several attempts with other bitdefender torrents with crack and/or keygens with the same result you're having and this still worked for me and many other ppl. im sorry you're having trouble. when running patch does it inform u that it's been successfully patched?

Yesterday my HDD melted down, so my focus is now more focussed on getting everything back in order... Everyone got it's onw challange, folks. So, dó back up regularly

so i dont understand what im doing wrong. i didnt everything told to. its installed. i disconnected and stuff. blah blah. but it says that it still expires in 30 days.??? and the Status is blank. there is nothing there. can any 1 help?

installed as per instructed. successfully update and the program works nicely with the license suppose to valid for 3650 days. but the next day when my pc turned on and connected to the internet, BD says the license is invalid and it stop working. frustrated and finally installed KAV. Anybody face similar problem ?

was patch applied correctly or at all? i have installed this myself on many pc's and using currently on my own. i have been looking for a patch for bitdefender for almost a year now. the whole reason i created a torrent was because i finally found one that worked and wanted everyone who wanted it to have it. i will be more than happy to help as much as possible for i know this patch works. the keygen alone will be rejected always cuz its a key for 10 years which is immediately rejected by bitdefender server for they do not offer anything for that long.

thank you for uploading BD. i run the patch. at first it has pop up error just like other's, may be due to my system is at F: drive instead of C: drive. Then fixed the problem and run the patch again. It works fine (no pop up error). BD also works fine. Once connected to the internet and when BD runs for automatic update. I will receive notification from BD mentioning that my license is invalid. really want to use BD anti :'( virus because it does not slow down my PC but to no avail. If anybody can solve the problem, really really really big big big super extra big thanks ....

Hey everything is working... thanks to the Uploader... Automatic Updates working and also the online patch is working... Just try to follow exactly wat is said.. If after reboot,it shows key expired, try to register again with a different key or Remove everything and install frm begining but this time with a different key... Definitely works for sure!! Good work rsfreak

Please somebody HELP :'(
It is almost two days that I am trying this and spending my time, but useless. OK, it register you for 3650days, but in last step as it said, you must update again online, but this time not only it doesn't give you updates, but also emmidiately it says that the registeration key you prepared is invalid or expired. WHAT SHOULD I DO????? I tried more than 15 times install/uninstall and lub lub lub.
please somebody HELP if even there is somebody who realy is working with this w/out problem. :'(

i guess some installed successfully and some do not. i finally managed to installed this BD. I guess the patched must be installed correctly otherwise it won't work. In order for the patched to be installed correctly, your operating system must be at C drive instead of D,E or Etc. Below are the steps i did for installation of BD antivirus 2008 (a little bit different than the instruction given).
1. installed under free trial and update (internet line connected)
2. disconnect internet line and reboot.
3. register using the keygen for antivirus (internet stay disconnected)
4. apply the patch (internet still disconnected)
5. reboot. connect to the internet.
6. update again.
7. if the update successful. then you have a successful installation.

No guys u r doing the wrong thing.. i think... in last step.. after restarting.. You should connect to net and then apply patch... then pnly it will work... thats it.. just try and tell me... message pour les français: tout fonctionne à merveille et quand je dit tout cad qu'après l'installation et l'installation de la clé et les mise à jour BD fonctionne parfaitement produit valide pendant 10 ans!
il suffit de suivre les instructions d'installation :ne pas connecter internet pendant l'installation!et ne pas créer d'acompte!
si vous avez des pbs n'hesitez pas à poster.
suffit de s'inscrire.

to install:1. Download the latest Product version in your Language from BitDefender Download site
3. Install in Trial mode and select only Online update!
4. Reboot
5. Disconnect your online connection during the registration!
6. Be for sure auto dial up online can not connect!
7. Run the KeyGen, select the Product and enter the Key!
8. Run BitDefender Online Update Patch
9. Reboot again and run online update
10. njoy

theirs actually several different ways to do it. the online patch extract actually has instructions too. having read different problems ppl were having i wanted to try to install it different ways. each way i tried was a success. just be sure internet is DISCONNECTED when installing and registering BD. also, if you're having trouble, clean your registry of all entries of BD and any folder on your computer then retry following different steps ppl have posted on here. i promise this works.

Hi, my problem is that after installation it will not update..... Actually after installation (before reboot) I can't actually open BD at all. I'm running Vista. Any ideas?

i had the same problem on one occasion too (i experiment with a lot of stuff) but my problem was with a transformation pack i installed. try repairing bitdefender.
