Hey, awesome mate! I didn't know this. I'll check it out.
Still don't know if this will help with choosing my controller, but it's worth a try I guess.
Pheonix looks like an awesome sim, but I can't find it anywhere. Maybe it's too new for a torrent yet.

actually it comes with the software as well..but it wont say it for obvious reason...mine just came in yesterday and it works fantastic..btw phoenix is awsome..much better than I thought..if you only want the phoenix sim to work its cheaper ..the p version its called..from the same guy....I was shocked it came with its own custome dvd with tons of software..its actually much better than this release

Are you saying it came with Phoenix or did you download it? I really want to get my hands on a copy!

Is there a working dongle emulator for this release?
or can someone confirm that fs one/ realflight g3.5/g4 works with the usb converter newbie36 is talking about without a usb hardware dongle?

RealflightG3.5 comes with an emulator, but not sure about G4. (Pretty new)
I can run my Esky 0905a Controller off that one no problem.
'Reflex', 'Phoenix' and this Torrent need a USB convertor/dongle.
If I were you, I'd purchase the USB convertor/dongle just to save any hassles and the one in the link looks like a good package.
Can't wait to get mine!

So, with the dongle from ebay (the one newbie36 is talking about) i don't need a emulator for fs one? It wil just run straight out of the box?

Don't bother downloading this torrent unil an emulator is made available. The dongle doesn't work with it!

I recommend buying the dongle from Ebay as I did. Initially I thought Reflex XTR was the best, but after updating everything from here: http://www.phoenix-sim.com/downloads.htm#updates Phoenix wins hands down.

Open Regedit and find key=
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001
\Control\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM
Scroll through the VID Keys to find your joystick name and change it to "Hangar9 FS One v1"
without the quotes, Then Restart if done right it will load up....

You can use it with any controller that is recongnized under Windows Control Panel->Game Controllers.
Run that control panel, and take a look at the name your controller appears as.
Because I am using PPJoy, mine shows as "PPJoy Virtual joystick 1".
In regedit, browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001
\Control\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM, then do a search for your joystick name.
Once you've found it, rename it to "Hangar9 FS One v1" and you're good to go.

Hey all, if this release is in working order, could some of you seed for a day or so please? Anyone have it working yet (I intend to use a Logitech gamepad for now)? Also, if anyone is interested in Phoenix (with updates + extras) and/or AeroflyPD (with addon#1 + Starflight) I can seed those. I really liked AFPD but had issues with it running my CPU at nearly 90% the whole time it was running, and consequently overheating my notebook. Something not right there, but good sim.

Downloaded and installed perfectly When i try to play it says that the USB interface wasnt found (because i dont have a controller or anything...) is there any way to play with your key board??

I tried renaming it from the regedit program, found my controller but its not changing the name... I changed the value and name of the controller to
Hangar9 FS One v1 but it still says MHW Game controller in control panel acces. Is this normal? I already had it but I'm not sure if its mode 1 or 2.
Its a JR radio and works for alot of other sims I'd be so grateful to get this working!

I would like to give it a try also. Right now I'm useing DX7,to fly trex 450, and Realflight G4 with the real Futaba Interlink Elite Controler. Tryed it with Pheonix, no luck.

fs one does work with the realflight g3.5 controller as stated above, it worked on my computer running vista, i have been trying to get it to work for months.

I currently have the FS One "Solo" that works with my JR transmitter and USB cable that came with the software.
Is there a way to get this version of FS One to recognize the FS One Solo usb connector I have?

I copied "Hangar9 FS One v1" to where the FS One Sol was in the regedit, and the transmitter now works, but the game keeps resetting itself every 5-10 seconds.
Any ideas why it is doing that?

OK, I'm uploading this in hope that someone knows how to get this thing going with any controller.
The last upload of this on here, had a comment telling you how to do this through the Windows Registry. "FS ONE REGISTRY FIX" Unfortunately, when I came back to save the text, the whole torrent had been removed.
So, if anyone can help out all those who wish to download this and run it successfully with their own controller, I would be most appreciative.
I'll continue seeding for a time, but for those who are downloading, unless you have the appropriate USB dongle or someone chimes in with the Registry fix, then you're completely wasting your time with this torrent!
