YEA it works! it took me some time but i figured it out. if you get this error message "the game can't be started because GameSpyMgr.dll can't be found". you have to go to C:/Program Files/LucasArts/Star Wars Republic Commando/DataSystem and rename SWRepublicCommando.exe to SWRepublicCommando.old. Then copy SWRepublicCommando.exe from the CRACK folder to C:/Program Files/LucasArts/Star Wars Republic Commando/DataSystem

Thanks for the great upload though I have a quick question myself; I can run the game fine with the CD loaded but isn't the patch meant to fix the game so no CD is necessary after you've installed it? I can't run it without the CD.

amparion,read post#13 it tells you how to do it.when its done don't click on the game icon go to C:/Program Files/LucasArts/Star Wars Republic Commando/DataSystem and click on the first icon that looks like a stormtrooper helmet and the game will start.when i did it the folder was not datasystem but just system.

This game works perfectly for me if i run the image file using a virtual drive created by alcohol 120% but i was wondering how i am supposed to burn it to a CD??? the file is like 1.32 GB, and i don't think it's supposed to be a DVD because when i try to play the game without the ISO it says "insert CD 1"

I've done many cracks but this one was a little backwards. I as well was getting the "Please insert the original disc,etc..." I just did what was on post number 6, except without all the file name changing. Mount the image(I use PowerISO), install the game and Just copy and paste the "SWRepublicCommando" icon from the CRACK folder to the C:/Program Files/LucasArts/Star Wars Republic Commando/DataSystem directory. After I did that, the game started up with no problems,changed game settings and played it enough to get my team mates(30mins or so) and shut it down.

it is really messed up to see that this is the third torrent that i downloaded (from games) that lacked the nessesary instructions to install corectly.
in vista if you try to run this it will say an error and a pop up in the sys tray will come up.
to fix this all you have to do is go to computer right-click anyware and pick properties a window will come up and on the left you will see ADVANCED SYSTEM SETTINGS click that then click performance settings then DEP (data execution prevention)then add the SWrepubliccomando.exe from C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Republic Commando\GameData\System and tick the box then apply changes and thats it run the damn thing.

okay I've only installed a couple of games but this one's weird. First of all I've downloaded this twice and the .iso file is the only one there, so I mounted it, installed it etc. and I have no crack folder. I'm running on Vista and I did what omega said in post 57 but now when I launch it it says "Please insert the right CD/DVD" instead of "Insert CD1" so I don't know how to make it run, help please!

Run program and the icon will show on tray then click right button on it >virtual cdrom>mount image select the image on your hard disk .
The game should autorun automaticly

Honestly i didn't play it online. I think you can't play it online beacause the serial is checked by the server of lucasarts and it can be used only by registered users or something like that

i have a problem
downloaded the game, tried to mount it(power iso) but then it said that the file "HardwareEx.lpg" is not recognized by Windows
that i tried to find something about it with google - nothing, just some rubbish with linux and unix
than i went adding the .lpg to the folder option - but can't find the appropriate program to open it
can someone please check how to open this or if the file is some kind of error?

lol GMan it only means that the game may be more slow because it's online. It means that the game online can be slower that the solo game.

Need help right here. I installed and cracked the game, BUT: when i try to start the first mission it loads the loading bar and crashes right away. I'm using Daemon Tools, tried launching with different cracks, reinstalled once and it doesn't help. I even used a downloaded save to check if the map is the problem. PLEASE, HELP!

IV looked around , and i found a fix to the vista problem
"If the game is crashing on load of first mission, try this:
OPTIONS, GRAPHICS, Set GRAPHICS QUALITY to LOWEST.
If the game then works, manually change the other settings to HIGH, per your performance capabilities.
** DO NOT ADJUST BUMPMAPPING QUALITY. Leave it on LOW **

OK This is a Step by step guide
1-;Download the game.
2-;Open the downloaded file useing Daemon Toold or other programs(i will preshume u khnow how to do that).
3-;Install the game.
3,1-;The serial is located in the virtual drive you created useing Daemon Tools(u cant miss it);
4-;After instaling the game copy the crack file SWRepublicCommando.exe from the Virtual drive made useing Daemon Tools.
4,1-;Paste the file in the folder where you instaled the game in the \GameData\System folder.
5-;You can now play the game.
6-;If game crashed when trying to play the first mision to ingame to the Options tab and from Graphics change "Bumpmapping" to low.This could happen to some computer configurations.

i have copyed over the crack to the system folder and when i start the game its workin but when i star new game its loading and loading and later the game its only turns off whats is the problem

ive maked everything EVIL23 said but when i start the game it says wrong disc inserted. please insert the original disc into your CD/DVD drive

THE GAME WORKS PERFECTLY,
1) MOUNT IT WITH DAEMON TOOLS
2) INSTALL IT.
3) JUST CLICK OK WHEN DISC IS ASKED.
4) REPLACE SWRepublicCommando.exe in D:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars
Republic Commando\GameData\System [(SYSTEM)GAMEDATA] WITH
SWRepublicCommando.exe IN CRACK IN THE VIRTUAL DVDROM IN MY COMPUTER.
5) START THE GAME WITH THE DESKTOP SHORTCUT.

This game is sweet!
All problems can be fixed with the others posts. i was blocked, whilst installing, when it says "insert CD1", just press ok, and it will continue!
works great on vista 32bit

***HERE IS HOW TO GET THE SERIAL AND CRACK***

when u have mounted the image (eg with daemon tools)
go into
-My Computer.. right click on the Republic Commando drive.. and then click open..
From there you will see all the files
COPY (do not cut. EVER) and paste the serial and crack files into a location on your C drive.
the serial is then used to enter in when it is requested.
begin installation

i doubt it will work because everyone here is using the same serial
so when u try to start a multiplayer game it will say something like 'cannot join multiplayer. another player is using the same account' so yea i doubt it :/

uhm so i havent seen anyone address the cracked exe file entitled traduz, i didnt use it, i used the other cracked exe file to replace it, and my game works perfectly fine, im just wondering what that file is for, what it does thats different from the other, does it allow you to play online even with the invalid cd key, or what?

also id like to add an extra thanks to the uploader the game works great and youve provided everything we need for the game, to all of you who have a problem figuring out how to use computers and need to learn how to install a game on EVERY SINGLE comment page for EVERY SINGLE game that gets uploaded, please learn to ****ing read, the rest of us put the 5 minutes effort it takes to learn how to use a program like power iso, weve learned what a ****in virtual drive is and how to use it, so please, dont slam every comment page with your lack of even the smallest amount of effort, if you cant figure out how to use these files, buy the game, or take the 5 minutes to use google and figure out the EXTREMELY simple programs that allow you to use disc images
