sorry i dont have the dvd version so i didnt make a dvd patch but ill give you some directions for dvd users now its quite simple you must right click and show contents on the 2 .app files

Battlefield 2.app/contents/resources/battlefield 2142.app/contents/resources/transgaming/g_drive
delete the 2 files there and open your dvd keeping this window open
on the dvd there should be 2 files with the same name as the ones you deleted drag those files to the g_drive folder close and done
simple as that

sorry i didnt make a dvd patch due to only owning the cd version :)

I cant get it to work. It starts with the splash screen, then goes black. But within 1 second, it goes back to the desktop! :(

Could it be that I used an updated version of Battlefield 2? Should it be the original one directly from the DVD, or can one use one that has been updated to the latest version?

@mrpuffin:
if you made this yourself could you tell me if i could somehow make a port for battlefield 2 off of the battlefield 1942 base instead of the 2142 base? i really want to play this on my mac but i have a macbook. I know the comments have been a little dead but i would appreciate a response. :|

Whenever I try to run the game it will instantly quit. (The screen goes black first) Any ideas about how I can fix this problem? I am trying to run the game on a current generation iMac, so I am kinda thinking Leopard may be the problem. But any ideas would be great! :'(

I forgot to mention that the original BF2 folder that I am using is patched to the current version (v1.41)
