I'm getting the exact same problem as you are Grizzyh: the cut scene in the ballroom on disc 1 completely freezes up. Has anyone got past this part or is it a faulty image?

The disc I originaly used to rip the iso file was a little scrachted,but i did not think it would effect the .iso file,but i was wrong.

what is psx?? Is that playstation 1? Would this work with a ps2? (Yes I know it must be modded).
Sorry, I'm really new at this... So I just wanted to know if psx meant play station 1..

Yes, I am having this problem too - immediately after the Lunar Cry CGI sequence, I cut back to the game window, but cannot do anything - no menus open and the pause button will not work.
And yes Rablaze, PSX was the name given the the PS1.

All 4 Disc's work fine, burned, mounted, or converted.
PS: I use pSX v1.13 & a Ps2 with a USB Mod-Chip.

Odd. I'm using PSXfin 1.13 and had no luck at all with the 3rd disc - any particular settings that I may not be aware of?

I suspect that the problem is with my PC or emulator, as I tried another Disc 3 image with the same problem. After about 10 attempts, it finally unfroze at the Lunar Cry event, so the image is fine.

anyone have problems with a freeze when you first enter the ragnorok ****pit just as your about to pilot it home? the characters still blink and the background moves but nothing happens..INFURIATING!
Tried messing with the cdrom settings doesnt seem to be a graphics problem tried updating to the latest epsxe nothing !!!! noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

Has any1 had crashing problems with this? more precisely, disc one seed dance party... iv tried different emulators, plugins, PCs and even re-downloaded the image but no good.. is the image broken?
