All games work and were verified using 3.71 M33-2 as well as 3.80 M33 and 3.90 M33. You must have popsloader installed and use 3.03 to get Resident Evil 3 to work.

the only Resident Evil Games to be released onto PSX were Resident Evil 1, 2, 3 and Gun Survivor.
Resident Evil 4 was released on Gamecube.

RE4 is only NGC/PS2/WII i really don't think it's on PSX XD

[All the Iso works fine with CF 3.71 m33-2 or superior, and u don't need any popsloader or stuff,only RE2 may be troublesome, if u have trouble playn' RE2 CD2 just Change your Game ID, if CD1 and CD2 has the same ID you'll be OK]

resi 2 still crashes at police station wuith clarie and leon not point downloading it ive tryed load from a half way point useing cw cheat and it crashs at every main video

Theres a Resi 2 crash fix mate. You have to change the game ID to Biohazard NTSC-J version. This fixes all crashes in the game such as entering the police station and the 'scenes of explicit...' crash.

The Game Save ID's on both discs of RE2 are already saved as Biohazard [SLPS01510]. You guys shouldn't be having crash problems with any Resident Evil included in this pack. RE3 worked with 3.71m33 but gameplay gets choppy after opening the warehouse door. Use poploader with the 3.03 plugin to get past this and gameplay will be perfect on any CFW. Post your questions if you have any!

When you get popsloader, start psp holding R, go down to plugins -> highlight popsloader -> press X to enable popsloader plugin. Exit from menu and when you start RE3, hold R and popsloader menu will come up and select 3.03 I got all games to work and have never heard of cwcheatpops, so my advice would be delete it.

Popsloader can be found by searching the internet. When you find it, the folder is called seplugins and goes into the main directory of the psp. When you copy it there, you have to enable it..read above for more.

Thanks chris your a champ. so far I all game other then RE nemesis doesn't work but its just a EBOOT and regardless of where I place it it doesn't load
Would this fix it. and you say enable to after you put it there. when its enabled does it effect other games?

Popsloader is nothing more than a menu that will come up at the start of a PS1 game. When it comes up, make your selection and then the game will start. Once you start the game using the chosen popsloader plugin, it will automatically load that plugin the next time you start that game. To change plugins, hold the "r" button at the start of the ps1 game and the menu will come up again. Enjoy!

Listen up guys, because it seems like a lot of you keep asking the same questions over and over. You NEED to have custom firmware to run ANY homebrew game (e.g. PSX games.) These games were tested using BOTH 3.71 M33-2 as well as more current versions of custom firwmare including 3.90 M33-2. The resident evil games which needed the gamesave ID's changed were already in the proper format when checked (e.g. RE2 needing to be SLPS01510) You should not have any issues with 1 or 2. RE3 experienced choppy gameplay about 5 minutes into the game UNLESS you use POPSLOADER with 3.03 selected at game start. Read above for further on popsloader. If you are having problems playing the games, you should check your firmware and your configuration settings. If you have tried all of this and you still cannot play the game, I would recommend reinstalling custom firmware.

You Probably don't have the ps1 bin file for loadup. You shouldnt need it, but if you do, try searching for SCPH1001.BIN on the net and add that file into the folder with the eboot. Start the game and it should work fine. (Side note: Learn English)

I cannot get mine to work... at all. I've used my own disc to try and still no luck. I've tried it with 3.71 M33-5 and 2.90 M33-2 and it both freezes when it reaches the 'scenes of explicit ....'. This happens on the claire disc as thats the only ove I've checked as I wanted to play RE2 on my PSP for AGESSSS but it doesn't seem to work.
Could it be the memory stick thats the culprit or something else?
What settings do I need for it to work

if playing A as Leon, the game will crash when entering the manhole in the kennel.
if playing B as Leon, the game will crash in police station after lowering the emergency ladder, getting the first key, and climbing the ladder once again.
i have taken notice that both eboot files are inconsistent with one another:
Claire's eboot is sized at 433MB
Leon's eboot is sized at 431MB (missing parts?)
am currently obtaining another copy of the game, to see if the inconsistency is there also, will get back asap.

3 will not load on 3.03 at all for me, got it to work on 3.30 and 3.40 only and then it just freezes up at the same part every time, at a certain door on the way back from getting the oil additive pretty early in the game.

i don't know about that 'supposedly' fix but i'm running 3.90m33-2 and i've played resident evil 3 using pops 3.03 and it worked for me.
as for the resident evil 2 fix, as of now, there is no fix for scenario B with these files, but i've heard that the game was released on the japanese ps3 marketplace. so all you have to do is wait for it to be released on the u.s. marketplace and either buy it or find the eboot.

its a little late, but for anyone that needs help playing resident evil 2 leon disc, look first for popsloader (im using the one for 3.90) and then at the begining of the game kepp R trigger pressed and choose popsloader 3.52 (it is the only one that works for RE2)

For the third, it bugs again but while the playstation logo appears.

For PSP 3.90 m33 users i used pops 3.71 and it worked fine. its better to google your way into finding the latest popsloader for 3.90 PSP's then place the "seplugins" into the root folder. should be working smoothly.

For those of you asking about 4.01m33, I got it to work, at least it loads up and I can play. I haven't played through the whole game yet though.
Settings: Pops on original from flash (I tried 3.03, 3.30, 3.40 none worked, it just froze up)
CPU: 333MHz (don't really know if this matters or not)

( COMPLETE RESIDENT EVIL SERIES - PSX TO PSP - RESIDENT EVIL 1, 2, 3, 4 - NTSC and finished it )and found out that only resident evil 2 leon disc is unplayable because of some crashes like going up through the emergency la***r and also the manhole crash.. btw. i am using the 4.01 m33-2 fw .. and 3.90 popsloader made by sonic5688
to get the popsloader: downlaod to this site ..its a ready made for you so you will no longer download the psardumper etc etc.. http://thepiratebay.org/user/Sonic5688/1/3 - click on the full 3.90 working popslaoder for PSP
ok after downloading .just copy the seplugins folder and paste it on your root memory card ( of course you have to usb your psp)
after pasting the seplugins turn off your psp and turn on while holding the r button until the configuration shows.. go to plugins and enable it.. and thats it..you have the working pops ( its really working )..now you can place you ps1 games into PSP/GAME folder..

to use the pops... on the start of the game ( i mean on the where the gold diamond shows sony computer etc not on on the PS1 logo) hold R button and the pops will show up
use this pops for the ff game:
resident evil 1 directors cut : 3.03 pops
resident evil 2 claire : 3.71 pops
resident evil 3 nemesis : 3.03 pops
resident evil survivor (the game ****s hehe): 3.03 pops
if you are not using 4.01 fw .example you are using 3.71 fw and you play resident evil 2 claire - no need to use the pops because the resi 2 claire is for 3.71..
i hope that will help on those using 4.01 m33-2 firmware thanx!!

I am using the new 5.00 m33-4 CF, tieh íts proper popsloader ver.
3.52 didn't work for RE2 leo, crashes when entering police station. Hereby the reason why i chose such popsloader version, it says something about using "SLPS-01222"... if anyone knows, please give it a try, since i don't have a clue what it means:

on claire disc ive tried almost all pops versions and 3.52 pops is the only version that got me past the police station with game id and save id of SLPS01222. dont listen to others saying it works on 3.03 pops it still freezes at police station 3.52 works perfectly

Resident Evil 3 - Works with 3.03 as said..but...sometimes it slows down when you get items and on rar occations...some bosses or monsters become technicolor..but I managed to finish the game and even got to play the NEXT GAME and the Mercenaries.

To change the game id you can use a program called psp brew open the eboot and to the bottom left their will be a box click game id and rename it and save eboot.You can also use popstation.

1. start up game
2. when you click on game, hold "R" button
3. Choose "3.03"
4. set screen mode to full screen(Optional but recomended)

if any of you guys are having trouble with Resident Evil 2 crashing at the police station, try running the game with version 3.52 of popsloader. If you dont know how to change the popsloader version, try holding R as you start up the game, then select v 3.52, cheers.

I have 5.00m33-6 and used pops3.52 just like you mentioned & works flawlessly indeed. 
I was getting stuck at the police station until I tried 3.52& worked. Can't wait to get past the police station now. Tested on Disc 1&2. Also later found out that games that froze or failed to load worked perfectly with pops3.52. Off I go to play boys 
FYI, RE1/3 worked fine with it too. The wonders of hacking...

Hey guys, i'm having no luck with any of these eboots. I'm running ChickHEN on a 5.03 slim PSP, CFW is 5.03 GEN-A. Has anybody found a way to boot these on this firmware? The best result I have had is that Resi 1 makes it as far as the Playstation logo, and then freezes, the rest are DoA. Any clues as to what might help? I'm desperate!
