It sticks on loading and never goes anywhere past that for me. Somebody else try it and see if it works.

sad for me.. becoz even if i change the UMD ISO Mode to Sony NP9660 it stil pause to the Now loading Screen.. huhuhuhuhuh.. i use 3.60 m33 and im afraid to upgrade my psp coz thers a posibility for the psp to brick.... huhuhuh.. i love my psp... as for now this is the only game thats not working for my psp me.. ^^ ok pa din..

Ah, first hard rest while holding down the right shoulder button. Then go to UMD MODE> and change it to Sony. At least thats how to make it work with 3.90 M33-2

Just upgrade your PSP to the latest version, the possibility of your PSP getting bricked is so low nobody cares... Even if it gets bricked, you can revive it with Pandora, so just upgrade and get on with your life...

you will need to upgrade to a higher at least to 3.71m33. if you have a pandoras battery they have a program at there that put it on the magic stick and installs 3.71m33 thriugh service mode. but if your going to do it through updating with a normal mem. stick then you will have to update to 3.52 m33-2 or m33-3 first then update to 3.71m33-3.90m33 which ever you want i would go ahead and update to 3.90 m33. the 3.80 are terriable so dont put that on ur psp.

If the game tells you you're getting in the way of the singing, it's because you need to let them sing, THEN do your thing, they kind of answer to your drums, you're a god, act like one...

Man you're the one who is coming off sounding stupid here! For one thing obviously he isn't talking about a Sony official update... and if you're here then I'm assuming that you know how to run homebrew on your PSP, and it's NOT with the official sony updates man. Do you even play these games or not? A Sony official fw probably won't brick ya most of the time but the chances of a brick with a homebrew fw are WAY higher. But with that said it's easy to rectify. Still, who was talking about sony making bricking fws?

Come on nwskier, you're the one sounding not that smart and 06301113 was sooo right, you do know that dark alex has cracked sony's official fw and chances of a brick when upgrading to M33 fw are really not that high... Since Pandora exists, there's no need to be afraid of bricks, even when you try to crack your PSP, no risks are involved...

There are two ways: turn on your PSP, push select and change the UMD ISO MODE, or shut down your PSP, turn it on holding the R, and in the recovery mode, configuration, change the UMD ISO MODE...

Something about a video that in the Japanese and european versions is censored... The USA version shows blood, and the JAP and EUR show black dots apparently... Not much of a difference...

It's most likely, yes... If you're not going to update to the latest firmware, at least update to the latest version of yours, which is the 3.71M33-4... If it still doesn't work, just update it to the 3.90, dark alex does really good work, and it's sooo nice to update homebrew fw by WI-FI...

I'm on 90-2, runs nicely, the 80 wasn't as good nor as stable, but Sony's fw and Dark Alex's were equally bad... 90 is your best bet, but it's just my opinion ...

You need 3.71m33 and up and set it to sony or no UMD to make it work. And to load the demo saved data (even if it's USA Demo), when the game starts go to continue and your demo saved data should be there. I have played the USA Demo and Downloaded this Patapon (FULL!!) and I was able to load the demo saved data.

GHASS2MSK to make it rain you have to go to the first level (hunting) and you'll will see a post/big tree trunk with triangle, 0, triangle, 0. Just press ^,0,^,0 and the post will start to go up, keep going untill a map pops out and you'll will get it. The map will lead you to a Guardian, defeat him and you'll get the WATER MIRACLE. Before going to the desert equip the WATER MIRACLE.To equip it, while you are equiping your patapons go to the very right and the Patapon will ask you, Witch miracle will you take. Then It will show you how to make it rain.

To update to 3.90 you need a 3.52-4 or higher, so you can nicely skip the awful 3.80...

First you need to have a homebrew fw on your PSP, 3.71M33 or higher, and then download this torrent, open the .rar file and put the .cso file in you memory stick X:/ISO/...

If you can't load your demo saved data, you must've played the USA demo version, so try when it comes out or just begin a new game... As for the infinite loading, read all the previous comments, you shouldn't have any problem...

Works great on 3.90 M33-2
if it freezes on the loading screen, you can just press select, select UMD ISO MODE, and select Sony NP9660 drive, then RESET DEVICE. Then just load the game up ( only for any M33 custom firmware )

Nope, if you played US demo, you need US version of the game, same thing with EUR version... If you take a look at your savedatas, the ones that begin with ULES are USA versions and UCES are EUR versions... Now the code for Patapon, I couldn't tell you... Anyway, if you press Continue in the game and have nothing there, you played the other version's demo... I like making things complicated ...

I'd tell you to try and change the name of the game to Patapon or something short, if you haven't done that yet... Otherwise try Select and check your CPU, put it all on Default... I really don't what else you could do, it realyy works just fine on 3.90-2 with the Sony driver...

Go to your recovery and check everything to see if something could be wrong in there... Shut down your PSP then turn it on holding R... I really don't know what else you could do...

Now that I think about it, after checking the recovery, you could try to format your memory stick... Of course BEFORE doing that you should copy/paste your savedatas or whatever information you want to keep... Try that and well, I hope it gets Patapon to work, cause it really is a great game... (Sorry for asking this, but you have checked that you REALLY are on fw 3.90M33-2 right?? Just asking, don't take it the wrong way)...

Change Game folder homwbrew to 3.90 kernel and see if it works... Enable the free UMD Region too, just to be sure... Let's hope that will solve your problems, and really, if it still doesn't work, format your MS...

I'll keep trying to find some solution to your problem, so check sometimes, there must be a way to make it work... Another stupid question, but you never know, you put the ''Patapon.cso'' in the X:/ISO/ folder right?? 'Cause I've seen some games go all crazy when that isn't done right... I've never liked any FF game, so God of War 100%... I know, shame on me, but I've never liked them, love to watch my cousin play them, that I do... As for remote joy, I don't use it, even if it's a nice application, and YES, it works on the 3.90, just need to enable the plugin in the recovery as you might know... Anyway, God of War and 3.90, heaven on earth...

See post 57, download sony's firmware and dark-alex's release of the 3.90 firmware, read the readme and you should be able to upgrade easily... If you have more questions AFTER doing all that, just ask...

Ashroks, what's your PSP firmware (System Settings/System information)... Zamurai, you need to press PON like 6-7 times in a row until Hatapon hears you and gives you the second drum, if you haven't figured it out yet...

Confirmed WORKING on 3.90-M33-2, Using Sony NP9660 as the main boot instead of M33, THANKFULLY. im also using the 393 Unofficial Patch and still boots NoProbs..

when i tried the M33 driver the game gets stuck at the loading part of the game

Oh Im going crazy...
it runs but after the logos it just shows (now loading) and the eys move
but nothing happens after that!!!!
I have 3.52 and I have changed the umd mode to sony96*** whatever that is!!!
but no good.

thanks a lot dude superb game it works perfectly on my 4.01 M33-2 i liked the game a lot will seed for a long time
