This is a statement on the behalf of the FXG team regarding accusations that have been spread around
by ill manered people desperately trying to brainwash and manipulate torrent users:
FXG uploads DvDrips that have been ripped by us from retail DvD's.Retail DvD's for almost every movie
can be found throughout the net by every net user willing to spend some time and find the proper source.
FXG has never uploaded re-encoded DvDrips. All movies bearing the FXG sign have been ripped by us and noone else.
We are not in the habbit of using the work of other rippers.
All these negative comments come from people with only one objective:
to advertise and promote their sites by spamming Mininova with continuous uploads of the same torrents
(just to get in the front page) and posting numerous nonsense comments.
FXG will continue it's work.

I have enjoyed downloading from FXG. Every movie so far has been oustanding quality. So for the users that have issues with the dwnlds, the solution is easy. Look 4 another site.

I've also noticed a few people mention a green strip at the top of the video, this is due to your DVD software not encoding correctly.
I use DVD Flick (http://www.dvdflick.net) to encode the video to a DVD format, then use DVD shrink (http://www.dvdshrink.org/) to burn it to disc.
Both pathetically easy to use, and will give you an excellent quality DVD once finished.

Mehdi, most if not all of those movies are already up and the ones that aren't are from 1952. I don't know if anyone would be up for a bunch of Jack Lemmon movies besides you and I. lol.

I am very much a newb to Torrents but in my limited experience, I have learned that FxG is someone/a group I would aspire to be should I ever start actually posting my own torrents. It can be very frustrating when you're just learning about this (to me) new way of P2P, with fake files, passwords being required and the fear that I am going to cripple my computer somehow, I know one thing... I don't know why but MY ISP disabled my service for downloading this torrent. No other FXG torrents, which are all wonderful by the way, but only this one... It was reinstated since i complained about having an unsecured wifi network. But i thought both downloaders and the FXG team should know this. I don't understand how this works. Did they flag this torrent? it's certainly authentic since FXG wrote a message on the board so I don't understand what happened. Just a heads up to anyone who cares to listen.

Your ISP will get an infringement notice from MGM for downloading this torrent. It's highly likely they are monitoring. Sorry to be a killjoy but my friend got one of these the other day after telling me he downloaded this one. Perhaps Peerguardian might help.

When opening the file (into Windows Media Player and Media Centre), I get the following error message: 
--"Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file."--
A comment from deckheadtottie (#45) suggested dvdflick, but that didn't work? Any other suggestions please?
