How would burning a blank toast file to a disc make it different. did that work for you barker? should think not. now where to find a proper crack..

After it installs, REBOOT, mount CD1 with Toast, bippity boppity bacon.

solution 1. burn the images to disk (disk 1 n 2 if u didnt understand first time mcgoat 
) install then re-insert disk 1 and play to ya hearts content (yes it does work, don't think too hard hey)
solution 2. get this torrent http://thepiratebay.org/tor/4055968/_No_CDs
it contains no-cd's for various mac games including a working no cd for this little gem of a game
don't give up ya day job goaty

Well. actually, I've tried to do it with the 2 solution - I have no idea what is wrong... still avp wanted CD to be played...
Maybe my english is not enough fluent to understand solution 1, which is in my opinion better (eh... tired of using useless nocd's), but I don't understand what should I do after the installation - reboot what? computer? and than use the image with Toast or load the no-cd crack? grr... so many questions...
Can you help me at least with the solution 2?

ok for solution 1 i used toast 8 to burn the images to 2 cd's. install then run game with cd 1 inserted in the mac (i prefer this way as it frees up the cd image space on the hard drive)
for no 2. in the torrent linked there is a no cd file, just extract to your preferred directory (i used desktop for ease of use). the file is a mini image of cd 1, so again just mount this with toast (right click file & hit mount) and away you go
btw you need to launch via the avp2 file in the directory or make an alias on the desktop
the no-cd file included in this torrent is corrupt (ie 0kb) the one from piratebay works along with heaps of other no cd fixes
hope this clears things up a bit for you

When i open the game it appears only a window of macplay, when that window disappear my screen goes all black, can someone help please?

Hello
I've download the Torrent and burn the DMG on two discs with Toast 9 Titanium. Everything goes well during the installation of the game, but when I want to start it, the application shut down and my screen is black.
Can someone help me please ???

This game does not work under leopard.
But thanks god leopard has an improved disk utility, where you can create a new partition without losing any data.
Just create a new partition, install 10.3.9, install the game, enjoy

This Game doens't work with Mac OS X Leopard. I have the 1.5.2 (the latest vesion) and it's the same for DOOM 3.
Just play on 1.4 Tiger or wait the plugin on Apple.com for Leopard...

if it help for someone :
first, lock the dmg as soon as you have unzip them. !!!
mount dmg with toast !!! not boom helper !
don't mount the cd crack before having install AVP2
when the installation is successful, drag the 2 programs from Avp2 2003 08 08 into the avp2 folder (replace the original applications)
lauch the game ;-)
that's all : the cd crack is only to remove the boring logos and to play without the dmg mounted.
sometime, the game don't start, so, force to quit, and relaunch it.
For Leopard: Apple dont care about compatibility, all people there are working fo iphone
wait for a bug fixed release, next year, or the year after.
it's better to run tiger on a mac, than to have to run XP under boot camp to have a 5 years compatibility Leopard is a work in progress now, the same as was Tiger 3 years ago

How do you get this to work?
Iv mounted the No-cd with toast, and iv replaced the installed files with the ones in CD 2, but it still says please insert AvP 2 disk
