I dl a copy of Nero 8..everything was working g8t however now I get a message that says Nero has detected that this is a pirated copy.. if you purchase a new SN we'll give you 10% off.. blahblahblah.. I still have access to all features.. WTH should I do?? lol Should I get a new KG or?? n1 run across this b4?

tracehd1 check out all the other nero 8 torrents. I have d/loaded at least 4 different versions and got hte same every time.

I've downloaded many and the first worked for a short while but from then on I also keep getting the activation message/pirated copy even after deleting the patent activation.exe and running nero clean up and so on. Its not cracked yet so I think we'll just have to wait

Delet patent activation.exe and also run msconfig and stop anything that nero is running. Also if you can block Nero with a firewall. Nero 8 has been working just fine for me for over 2 months

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Nero\Shared\NL3 folder. it looks like a green check mark. Or serch your computer for patent activation.exe, and it should find it.

Warning! In the ISO, the file toolbar.exe is actually the "AdTool.Win32.MyWebSearch" adware. Other than that, the ISO is clean.

i don't get how to install this, and i'm not new tho this either...but
i ran the setup.exe and it installed but then it said that it couldn't complete....

this software comes with a keygen (key generator)it gives you a serial number click on generate, copy it by highlighting it and copy it to the serial box when the prog. asks for it
if your computer suddenly shuts off its because the prog. realized it has been corrupted so do not allow nero to send any information to the internet
by blocking it with norton or mcafee. prep the nort,or mcf when you start installing.

hey i found out that if u put multiple serials for the same nero 8 (not the plugins) , the pop ups of it detecting that it's a pirated copy won't come up no more. also, delete the neropatent file as well and wuteva aka C:\Program Files\Common Files\Nero\Shared\NL3 folder

Before installation begins the wizard interrupts the installation before Nero 8 could be completely installed with this message: "Your system has not been modified. To complete the installation at another time, please run the setup again." What Gives?

i'm having troubles with nero. when i install it, a lot of programs stop working (like winrar). also i try to open nero startmart and it takes forever, and it still won't open. when i get into the task bar, on progress nero startmart is there, but still won't open, no matter how much i wait.
i had problems with nero scout, somewhy it made my explorer.exe crash, so i disabled nero scout. could this be the reason? either way, something weird happens to my pc, and it fixes whenever i uninstall nero. it's pretty weird. help, anyone?

Videomaniac: I had some problems when I first installed Nero back when it was Nero 7. I learned then, in order for it to work right without all the hassles, you have to make sure all tracks of Nero are gone before you install a new version. For some reason, Nero does not like us "seeders." . Anyway, uninstall Nero from your computer, Run "regedit" and delete anything there that has Nero or Ahead on it. Usually, you will find it in the first drop down, and after that you will find it listed under "software" files. It does take a little time to do it, but is worth the effort if you like Nero. Oh, the registry cleaners do not get rid of this stuff. The only way to do it that I have found is manually. This problem occurs if you have EVER had ANY VERSION of Nero. Or it does for me, and this is how I fixed it. Hope it works for you.

Check here : http://www.mininova.org/tor/1469778 . Its the true solution for the nero patentactivation problem. Only add activation keys and the problem is resolved.

Izago, your link to that ********** file is bogus, its a trojan. Nod picked it up and it alerted me to it. I wonder if someone else can go to this link he posted and check it out http://rs243.**********.com/files/103279425/neropatch.exe be warned, My Nod32 said it was a trojan so dont just download and install, someone check it out and see if its just a false alarm or we are being tricked into downloading a trojan. If thats the case can we ban the person who put it there? Its bad enough with viruses in the files we download but if people are gonna hot link viruses in the comments that are supposed to help people I think its time we made these people responsible for their actions and punish the evil doers

now I know why you spelled it that way in the first place, just use izagos link but take out the lines _ between the letters and you get to the file, again it came up a trojan and I was hoping someone could follow up on it whos good at finding viruses and seeing if maybe my Nod picked up a false positive

I am now preparing to do a destructive recovery on the back-up computer. I am running out of space so will continue this.

cont. I called my son and he informed this site that Izago is pushing is notorious for getting its members to "convince" others to go there, in hopes they will sign up for a Premium Account. If that happens, Izago (or whoever)gets Kudos from RS.(abbrev.) Sounds like it would be very beneficial to let us "freeloaders" download a nasty, doesn't it? Well dreamcatcher1 first of all dont download others links if they are not in red colour. At least for mininova. Second Izago is just a guy that got dropped when he borned.So dont take it to bad that his brain works the way it does.. 
Thirdly i can give you a premium account for rs (it would be valid for one month) as thanks for a working copy of nero. And i will first give the rs account. I am not doing that because i feel sorry for ur inabillity or because i dont know how to find a good copy of nero. Just i can feel you. Because of a dude like Izako some years before lost my job. The guy got the feds in his door but i still had lost my job. and then i was a student in the states., really hard times.

Hi I wonder if anyone can help? I've tried 2 versions of Nero 8 now to burn a DVD movie using Nero Vision and the burn process has failed each time. The files are AVI but I'm sure I've used Nero before to burn these without problems. (Had to reinstall OS recently and get Nero from here again but it just wont work now! Grrrr)
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

if you want my opinion u should just use an older versioun such as 7 6 is even better way more faster dont' take up as much room... what does 8 got blu ray, but that is it... but then again that is just my opinion and the torrent works but DOES NOT have a keygen

Well. This is what I did.
Downloaded file.
Turned off wifi,
Moved it to empty folder.
Scanned it with Spybot S&D (all OK)
In the folder were two files, an ISO and an MSInfo Doc.
Right click and Extracted (using Tugzip) the Iso file to the same folder.
5 mins of extraction later 4 folders and 6 other icons had appeared,
one labelled autorun
Double clicked Autorun.
A notepad opened.
Closed that, tried something else.
Looking inside one of the folders called Installation there is an icon called SetupX
Double clicked SetupX
NERO 8 Installation wizard opened

worked fine 100% perfect no viris say's serial is pirate but still works fine im a newby to all this but i found it very easy to do just make sure you uninstall any nero you have or it will ask you anyways !

for people who think there is a virus YOU ARE WRONG.
i have 5 anti virus programs and they all came up clean so unless there is some kind of supper virus on it that can sneek past 5 antiviruses then its clean.
