I would imagine you can you Toast or maybe Disk Image. you will need dual layer DVD's though, at least for some of them. It took me since Christmas to get to 95% and i only have one day left! what a day tomorrow will be a good day!

idk if you can just open each file like its a disk or not. worth a shot!
It goes much faster as you are downloading!

just seed:)

Any idea?

ok, so i have the stripped down version of this, it's like 4gb. and it has final cut, and some apps, but none of the extras etc.

and the other day i had to get my macbook fixed, and the guy ran software update and final cut pro got upgraded to like 6.0.2 or something. and it wouldn't run =[ serial box has a serial for 6.0.2 but i can't put it in.

so i deleted the final cut app, and i was wondering if re-installing would work or if it's like the adobe creative suite (that once you update there's no way to install it again)

#6: the only application i can think of is adobe premiere pro. it's like final cut but with less stuff.

You seems to be an expert on this :) (or anyone who knows the answer)
Please tell me, the following MAC would be enough for this Final Cut?
"Superdrive Imac G5, 20 inch, 2.1GHz, 2.5GB RAM, 250 GB HDD"
If the answer is yes, I'm thinking on to go and by it to be abble to use
this app., and not will search for PC version >-)
Thx.

Marinko420733, I would say "Yes"... but I am no expert. I've been using this mac for a year since I dumped Windows. I would recommend you ask in the Apple Discussions area of the Apple site. To get there, type in "apple discussions" (without the quotation marks) in the Google page and click I'm Feeling Lucky.
It is what I have as my main computer. But I don't know what you mean by iMac G5. This is what my mac says I have:

2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
1GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
MAC OS X Version 10.5.2
And Final Cut Pro 2 works great for me. You might want to check out the tutorials on the Apple website on how to use this app, because its a little complicated for novice users like myself. I find iMovie much easier to use... but to each his own with his own needs.

Thanks Juddcarlos2003 for the answer, I will look around in the Apple Discussions, as said, to try to make my mind. I'm basicly PC with Win user, never had Mac before (reason is that here in Hungary Apple has so small marketshare, it even not easy to find a dealer or shop, not mentioned that due to it the prices of Mac are in the skys), but I'm open for a change :-) The Final Cut 2 acc to my knowlage would fit my sw needs, so probably I will have to get a Mac for it :-) (and later after time to leart to use it >-)
