Great quality upload as we can always expect from FXG. The movie sux big time though. Slow moving, no action, and then just ends abruptly when budget limit is reached--complete waste of time.

#28 - depends on what version of divx codec your divx dvd player will accept and which one has been used to encode the movie......my divx dvd player will not accept anything later than divx 5.1.1

What program are you using to shrink the AVI files. I have tried several programs to rip the dvd's but they dont shrink the file size. If someone could tell me that would be great, then I can put a buch of movies out here.

This is a perfect copy 10 out of 10 for video and audio. however tommy lee jones has too many stupid speaches which have no relevance.
i agree that these comment boxes should be used for comments of the download not personal attacks.

[b] I think FXG does a good job, but as far as Pound for Pound Quality and Size.. NikonXP does a much better job. There is no compression and the files sizes are still small like FXG's, and they are encoded at full 30 frames per second, DVD quality... Plus he takes request, which is awesome.. Excellent work and thanks a bunch for including the Eng subs. It helps when certain actors seems to overdo their Southern drawl or sometimes mumbles. I hope that it'll be a permanent feature in your future releases.

I have to agree with Movie_Buff. NikonXP does a much better job. I downloaded this from FxG and it was ok, but someone told me about NikonXP and his is just like a DVD you buy in the store.. I love you both and thanks for your hard work

Anyone else having a problem playing this on their Playstation 3? The divx symbol comes up at the very beginning and the movie skips and pauses horribly throughout. All of FXG's other movies work beautifully but this one seems like it was ripped differently. Thanks for the help and thank you to FXG for taking over as the premier SHARER out there today.

Doesn't matter if the movie is good or not, or if it's "oscar worthy". What do you expect of the "academy" people, they aren't "mexican", but nonetheless, they can still f... up huh ? jayhawks0001: The easy way to get a great rip: try "Clone DVD mobile", it's available here at MiniNova. It's much easier to use than any alternatives (not so many options though), just set it to ~600x resolution, ~700kbps video, 2-pass, that's it.

I must say tho Im a big film fan and I dnt understand where all the Academy nominations have come from?? Isit just me or was this film from start to finish just tryin to portray one person as big and bad, but included lil quality content.
I found it slightly poor and boring if im honest, quality is fantastic tho thanx fxg. If ne1 is pondering it, still worth a look but nt 4 everyone

first of all, thanks FXG. Great work. This is a good film. Not great according to my own tastes, but well made. What makes it good is the characters. I've personally known a few texas rangers and small town sherrifs in texas and tommy lee jones was right on the mark, especially considering the period of the film. there are actually guys just like them roaming the praries, or there were anyway. Besides, it's a cohen film. It's just as good as Fargo and the academy got it right. A must see if you like well made, intelligent films.
