well i just started dl this. i tried to softmod my xbox and ended up instead corrupting it. eeprom is like xbox's hdd cd-key/password and enables it to unlock so that you get into and restore or modify it. i highly recommend a sotfmod done with an exploited game and gamesave instead hotswapping the hdd. save yourself a real headache.

i highly recommend to download this torrent. this torrent is an xbox hdd back up. has C drive and eeprom backed. if you want to restore your xbox to manufacturer's default then download this.

the xbox eeprom is for making a back-up disc with the xbhdm to make a hard drive from scratch,because if you softmod your xbox and mess it up it is the only way to return your hd back to orginal.
