@11 yeah go out n buy the game- bnet registers ya ip addy so no cd from the net (that i know of)
@the rest try serialbox for a key
@10 nope - its a .dmg file - the full game is hybrid though
@8 thnx for the os x installer tip, got the latest patch n installer from blizzard as i already have the original game

does it matter the screen resolution b/c on my macbook pro after the blizzard scene the diablo II start game scene is jumping around. someone help plz....

I get the same comment everytime I try to run the game. The serials work great, the install works great and the patch from Blizzard implements with no problem. But, this happens everytime I try to run the game:

try deleting ya files n start again, could just be a corrupt install.
did you use the carbon os x installer? (not sure if its in this as i have the original) you can get it from blizzard if not.
if it doesn't work again try downloading the carbon installer and the os x patch from here

and use the installer to install.........
this fixed my previous prob (see no6)
otherwise no idea

Serials appear to work fine as does patch
Every time I attempt to run it crashes at title screen, same problem as comment 16-17, 
Have tried all suggested fixes and reinstalled 3 times with no success.
Any suggestions?

I am experiencing the same problem as comment 14. I have already patched it using LOD_Patcher_111b(carbon) but the problem is still not fixed. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

well my guess would be its a bad image, mebe try another torrent
the pc version is os x compatible too

All those with a similar problem as comment 14 onwards try the following
when you open the game a little options window will appear , click on configure video then choose software, this solved the jumping title screen and crashing for me, game works great.

Hey thanks for uploading this game. downloaded and got it working thanks to comments. However, I shut off my comp and started it back up again and its askin for me to insert the LoD disk. Any1 know wat I do about this? I'm extremely new to downloading of this type.

I'd just like to add that I've downloaded this file twice in two days (thanks go to those guys uploading at over 100kb/s!!) and the dmg was corrupted both times. I'll just have to hunt down a cheap $10 version, and buy the game a second time, since I bought the very first windows only release .
so caveat emptor.

nevermind, forgot about toast...
for all those who don't know how to install, you have to mount the DMG, not just open it.
i'm still new at installing the ripped games etc.

Thank you SOOOOO much for uping the OSX install for this game. I had almost given up on being able to play it (since my pc is dead and gone) You are a god. I love you. I can't wait for Diablo 3 so I really wanted to play this. I will seed to at least a 5.0 ratio.

I can burn disks 1,3 & 4...I get an illegal error message on disk 2...is my file corrupt or am I missing something? Any chance you might post just disk 2?...just for me..puhlease???
