ive just downloaded this and tried to set it up about 10 times.KEYGEN IS NO GOOD.all serials used with keygen are expired.program loads and works fine you just need to find a serial that works.

2. uninstall the program and reinstall it following the instructions carefully inside patch {do the first updation using evaluation license }

Hey dude, not knocking your upload as I downloaded it and installed it perfectly on my girlfriends pc. My problem is that I tried to put it on my pc (5 times now) following exact directions but all it says when I click the "ok" button is...."on click, line 5: attempt to index global 'attrib' (a nil value)
I even re-downloaded it twice
Any ideas??? Great program and naturally I dont want to pay for it.

Hey HeartBug! Thanks for the great download, but I have a question. I have followed the directions to the "T" three times. But everytime I get to the last reboot with the internet off, when my computer comes back on, I get a message saying that bitdefender found a virus and has deleted it. Unfortunately, the thing it keeps thinking is a virus is the patch file. So I am unable to continue the installation (can't click on ok after adding the keygen). Is there anything I can do about this?? At least I know the program is working!! Unfortunately it's mistaking a patch for a virus. Thanks for all your great work!

Okay, got it to work, but unfortunately it said invalid key. I'm going to try again, but I did hear that they are detecting these keys now. BUT for those of you who think there is a virus, some anti virus softwares WILL pick up keygens and/or patches as being viruses. Do your homework!! This version is clean!!!! Thanks HeartBug!

Well, I have encounered two problems here. First - the keygen is useless. I tried several codes, but got no lucky there. Of course I used it for BitDefender Total Security 2008. So anyone has working code here? Would be superb to post here cos I left about 25 days of expiration.
Second - there's definitely is a trojan in path.exe. BitDefender itself states there's some kind of trojant and blocks it. Even I run this path.exe it gives me only an error table that it can't find something in particular. Any help much appreciated

This is an AWESOME program and torrent.
*OPEN THE PATCH.EXE FILE AND FOLLOW THOSE INSTRUCTIONS!*
*DON'T DO STEPS 4 & 5.* before it was ok to perform these steps but not anymore, the anti virus will automatically delete the patch if you update after installing the evaluation. So skip steps 4 and 5 and go straight to 6, trust me it will work.
*WHERE IT SAYS "ONCE DONE, CLICK THE BUTTON BELOW." IT MEANS THE "OK" BUTTON ON THE PATCH* so after registering with the bootleg key press the "ok" button and your good to restart, update, what ever!

Okay, so I downloaded this with my BitDefender v10 anti-virus on and it did detect a virus in patch.exe
Called Trojan.Generic.****
And of course, BitDefender v10 removed/moved the patch.exe into the quarantine and I couldn't use it, so I had to re-download the file in order to install.

just exclude the patch and keygen folder from scan. by this way antivirus will create a invisible was around that folder. then u can use patch. Do not worry, Anti-Virus will not let patch or keygen work out of that folder.

Ok, I have found that the viruses are in the patch undoubtedly. BitDefender removed it, but I wanted to make BitDefender into a disc so I redownloaded the patch. Bad idea. I was instantly hit with 3 trojans, but now their deleted for good. Download this at your own risk.

Such a stupid statement. The "Patch" file isn't even a Patch, it is purely an executable file with instructions on how to patch BD. There is no "patch" for this program as it's all based on the key generated.

You say that BitDefender will "cry" over the "patch", yet you then say it's an application? It isn't an application in the least - IT'S A TROJAN!
REAL executable PATCH files crack the original programs executable files - YOUR patch isn't a patch - but an application, as you say. This "application" is an executable TROJAN application.
I didn't say anything about legal vs illegal - but placing a trojan within the file is wrong.
I realize that keys/patches and cracks are always suspected by antivirus software - the problem is that YOUR patch file ISN'T an actual patch!! You just called it a patch, but it in fact doesn't patch the program, so it's therefore NOT a patch.

all fixes worked fine. and its running on my other pc without problems. like one of these comments up above metion. you must go into bitdefender settings and make sure to not allow it to scan the folder that the patch is in. then all is good. . :::: TO UPLOADER :::: maybe you should show or mention how to do that in the instructions... again thanx man it WORKS GREAT.. I downloaded it.. I have Windows Vista aswell dpklight. I assume it is a good download from all the good reviews, yet my Norton keeps all of a sudden blocking an attack. It started after I opened the patch. Im actually having some difficulty installing ^^*. Umm, Safe to say I'm new to the software downloads.. The patch states to "1. Do a clean uninstall of the product. Delete all registry keys, traces, ect. Restart PC." Now If it's not installed how do I manage to uninstall it? Does it not work on Vista?

by the way the patch is recognized as a virus because it modifies files, but its not doing any harm to your pc its just getting rid of the bit defender activation, so just ignore those who say the patch has a virus, install the program, follow the instructions in the patch and thats it. if your anti virus says the patch is a virus just ignore the alert or turn it off until u have finished using the patch.

Just finished downloading this, installed it and it worked like a charm!
i have just updateded Bit Defender and now it's asking me to reboot! all i have to do now is turn off my internet and put the key number in from from the KEYGEN!, update bit defender again and i am DONE!

PS. Bitdefender Rocks! No Virus or Trojan. The trojan that was found is false positive.

i cant get this to work for me.
i have installed this before (very same torrent) on my windos xp pc and it worked fine but i am having a lot of trouble using it with vista.
i install it and follow instructions but it still asks me for a key every time i stary up the computer.

patches are supposed to be named after the original exe file of the program
patches are supposed to overwrite the exe file of the original file.
patches aren't supposed to have "instructions". instructions are normally put in a text file.

I downloaded this torrent and I'm sure its a good wone by the way the comments are looking. After I downloaded i opened th patch, and read the directions. And I'ma bit confused.
1. Do a clean uninstall of the product. Delete all registry keys, traces, etc. Restart PC.

i followed the steps in the patch carefully but when i tried to insert the keygen it says the key's invalid..
but then i just continue and update my BD..and restart my computer after the update is done...
then when my computer is restarted...the BD is no longer a trial version...so am i using the registered ones??

haha this is funny, there is a trojan in the patch.exe, but the second u finish installing the program, bitdefender remove the trojan. guess if u want to use the program you can use it but u hav to do it imediately so the bitdefender can remove the file for you. DO NOT STORE THIS DOWNLOAD!!!!!!!

hmmm, a reminder for everyone, when scanning patches,serials or cracks,
with ur anti virus it is ok to install it or apply it, thats the nature of all cracks but if ur not sure then dont install it

Now, please read if you want it to make it work, I did many different tests on 3 different machines, and on XP and Vista. Took some time, but all works!
But something you should know before breaking a keyboard or yelling at HeartBug, the conclusion of my tests came to this:

3. Finally, since I came with the conclusion that not all the keys will work, now I'm still not 100% sure if the patch was actually necessary. All my 3 machines has done it with the patch, but I've a feeling that some keys might just work without the patch. I'd of try it, but I don't have a machine that didn't run the patch yet. So please feel free to try it without the patch and try to let us know what's your outcome.

If you get Vista problem, get BitDefender for Vista from web, then use keygen and patch to make it active. it should work.

most AV programs pick up cracks patches or fixes as Trojans. you need to open the file and see a full description on what type of Trojan it thinks it is. If it says oh its some variant but were not sure.. mot likely its safe to use.
and in this case it is safe as many people here have tested it

I have wrote many times to not to use dual securities in one system e.g BD and ESET. Always use one AV at one time. Your system freeeeeeeeezed cuz you think you can handle this but no. this will handle you. Do not be tooooooo smart.

To Others: I have downloaded HeartBug's stuff before and torrents are always good. I suggest you do a search for "HeartBug" (at this moment there are 125 hits of torrents credited to him on this site (apology if if should be she)).
There are a few other uploaders whom I consider reliable, so when u find one be happy. However, I suggest it's always best to read ALL the comments before hitting the keyboard.
Extra: Buy a cheap second computer with a small capacity hard drive and keep this exclusively for testing new programs. Set a restore point and if there is a problem just restore or format the drive & reinstall the OS. Bit Defender I think is best, NOD next and Kaspersky has a conflict with Zone Alarm so I don't use it (there are workarounds but I can't be bothered) as I believe ZA to be the best firewall around.

I downloaded this torrent but it didn't work for xp64.
So I went to bit defenders website and downloaded the evaluation copy then followed the instructions in comment 116, thanks snadge.
works a treat!
I backed up the patch just in case it got wiped by bit defenders real time scan.
I'm currently scanning my pc for file duplicates.

For all those who have a problem with the patch showing up as a virus.
Get a ****ing life Antivirus programs are designed to hunt for specific file signatures. Ie files that alter other files, the patch falls into this category, although it just alters bit defender as far as I'm concerned.

The matter is mostly people downloaded some scam torrents shown my name but uploaded by some unknown stupid ass-holes. they become victim of those scams but blame me cuz they c my name in torrent but those stupid doest not check who is uploader. one more thing, patch is clean in my upload. all warning are true-false.
