Then there are those of us who paid the $5 for the lossless FLAC, can't download the tracks because the servers went down, and now the download link we have is broken, and support at nin.com hasn't gotten back to us. They have my $5, I'll have the music, everyone is happy. I'm sure support at nin.com is getting blasted, so I don't mind using this method to get what I paid for, its going to take a while for them to sort through it, I think.
Besides, it IS licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0 license, which allows people to do share it, as long as they attribute the work back to NIN.

To the 1% of people that will take constructive comments into consideration... I paid $16 for the CD with shipping and couldn't download it because their servers were getting beaten. So, I used up my one time download link because I got timed out when I tried. That said, this was the only other way of getting the music I already paid for. I never listened to NiN before this week and it was because of the sample that they gave FOR FREE that I learned to like them. This is a great CD that you can drop at least $5 for if you like it. Listen and try it. www.ghosts.nin.com

I actually spent the $10 on this too (It's $5 for mp3 or flac, and $10 for both a cd and the digital format). The only reason I'm downloading this is for the same reason as above; I can't download anymore on the real site because my one-time download link timed out.
Anyway, if you like this just throw him $5 to prove to the greedy record companies that if you price something at a reasonable amount and don't try to lock up your users with DRM and all that junk, they will pay you out of respect.

why don't yopu just go to the NIN site where you can buy this for a measly $5 now that aint gonna break the bank now is it!!
