Tip to anyone playing this in CSO form. Game slows down a lot, best to uncrunch ISO as it plays perfect. It's a biggie though 1.5GB!!!

rodime, get yacc tool from PSP Hacks, install and then use decompression. This program is spot on and easy to use. Good luck. By the way this game is flawless, best on PSP by a million miles....

I am having problems downloading any torrents. i have a utorent prog, every time i download it it will immediately turn to inactive and says no connection is made because the machine refused it<-- i dont know wat this mean. i even downloadded other programs like azzerus, bittorrent etc same thing. i have a cable connection, and never had this prob when i had dsl

Check your firewall and your port forwardings, more so if you have a router and not a modem... As for the game, it's a CSO file, 1.22GB... This game rocks...

I must say the CSO file is quite slow sometimes on this game, Daxter Creator is quite needed to extract the ISO file and REALLY enjoy the game...

I have downloaded the GOW-ZYMAX.iso and the game looks good. I am running 3.90 M2 firmware but there is a lot of slowdown and the game even freezed anyone else have this problem.?

Yo That Game is Nice it was lagging a little when they're is a lot of enemies around you or during a boss.. So I just decompressed it with Yacc... And It works Perfectly Now.. Anyway Thank You ESPALPSP!

I cant seem to get the ISo or the CSo file once i extract it, all i see is a bunch of files and 2 folders.i just got my psp with 3.90 m 33 firmware.. the way it was explain to me was i all i had to do was drag and drop the ISO or CSO file to the psp stick. i have done sucessful with other was, they already come out with the ISO and CSO file., but no this one. i really want ot play this game PLS HELP.

File is NOT messed up, you need to upgrade to 3.90M33-2, push Select and be sure to have Default on CPU Clock (both ones), couldn't hurt to put the UMD ISO MODE to Sony NP9660... That's for the PSP, as for the file, which comes in .cso extension, download Daxter Creator and decompress it to .iso, you should get a file of 1.5GB... Run it and you shouldn't have any problems...

I think that you tried to decompress the .cso with some other program that's not Daxter Creator, 'cause I tried doing it with UMD GEN and I got the folder you're talking about... Try with Daxter, or if that's not the problem, say so and I'll give you my msn and try to help you or something... Hope that solves it...

To both of you, just try again, it's crashed ones for me near the end of the game, don't know why, between two Loading, but hasn't happened to me again... And the fight with Persephone didn't crash with me...

I'd say it's a problem with your MS, still, if you say you have the CF 3.90M33-2 on your PSP, the game works but you can't save anything, I'd try downloading this again... Or, as I said before, try formatting your MS (if you do this, don't forget to copy/paste the SAVEDATA folder or be very sorry later )... That's all I can think of...

There is a patch that fix the problem with the memory stick of CF 3.80/3.90. It is a file from 3.71 which gives a better support for memory stick.

Bluespider, first, you're downloading from 20 ''seeders'' but there are actually 1555 available... As for Daxter, if you want to decompress this cso, you choose first cso, then Descomprimir, then in Entrada you find the cso on your computer, and just press Iniciar... The iso will appear by default at the same place you have your cso, unless you change the path... Hope I've been clear enough...

I'd tell you to just upgrade your PSP first to the highest version of your CF, which is the 3.71M33-4, and if it still doesn't work I'd just upgrade it to the 3.90... That's all I can think of, you've done everything I'd tell you to do before upgrading...

Try formatting your MS... Don't forget to copy/paste your savedatas before you do, then try again... If it still isn't working, check your recovery configuration see if there's something there...

Shut down your PSP, turn it on holding the R, and check everything in your configuration... Read comment 88, see if yhou can get it to work... And I'd upgrade to the 3.90, 3.80 is just not that good in my opinion...

You upgrade it first to the 3.52M33, then 3.52M33-4, then to the 3.90M33, and finally to the 3.90M33-2... Then you check the comments I told you about, and you should be good to go...

Shutting down your PSP completely (hold the sutdown button until it shuts down), then turn it on by holding the R button... You shloud enter the Recovery... If, not, upgrade to 3.52M33 at least, even if I think the 3.40OE has a Recovery...

It's pretty weird that NO iso game will work, still, I'd format my MS (copy/paste your savedatas), then I'd go for the upgrading if it still doesn't work... Can't think of anything else right now... I'll ask just to be sure, you do put your isos in the X:/ISO/ folder and not in the X:/PSP/GAME/ folder right ??? Don't take it the wrong way, just making sure...

stisko, go here http://dark-alex.org/ , download the upgrade and install it, it takes about 10 seconds... And as for whobetheman (noce name btw), have you tried changing the UMD ISO MODE ??? That really is all I can think of... And if that doesn't work, try downloading the file again...

I downloaded the upgrade from that site.i did exactly what readme file says and when i go to to upgrade to 3.90 M33 it says 'The system software of your PSP is version 3.90.There's no need to update.'
What can i do?? 
I remind that i have installed 3.90 version to my PSP.

Make sure you put the UPGRADE folder in PSP/GAME/ and that it's named correctly... It should be X:/PSP/GAME/UPGRADE/... If that's not it, and you have WI FI at home, upgrade by the Network Update on your PSP...

OK, my mistake, I had to go eat and I was sooo wrong... Still, download it again, erase completely the UPGRADE folder, and just copy/paste the UPDATE from darkalex's homepage to X:/PSP/GAME/... Sorry for my mistake, wasn't thinking...

Get in the recovery and check the gamefolder homwbrew, it should be 3.90 kernel... Dont' know what else it could be, could be good to try with the network update (having WI FI connection of course), you'd have to enable it in the recovery... Don't know what else... Maybe format your MS (saving your savedatas first of course) ??

Ahhh OK, I didn't get that your firmware was official... In that case, you need someone else that has a custom firmware PSP with Pandora on it, there's no other way... You could go here http://dark-alex.org/, yet again, download the Despertar del cementerio, read the readme and do it on your own... Check that out, see if you can figure it out, 'cause I have lots of forums in spanish that could help you, but none in english...

The gem goes in this file X:/ISO/, not the one you're talking about which is only used for PSX games...

Copy/paste your savedatas, format your PSP, and then put the game in X:/ISO/, that's where it belongs... Check your recovery too, see if there's something there...

I didn't get what you mean, still all PSP games belong in the ISO folder, and the PSX the the PSP/GAME/ folder... That's it...

Check for your kernel to be on 3.90, and try every UMD ISO MODE there is available (pushing select on your XMB)...

Format your MS (saving your savedatas or any other thing you might want to keep, obviously), and try downloading the game yet again, see if that gets it to work... The fact that you have a fat PSP has nothing to do with it...

i am new to this, i went serached for hours still cant do it i just bought a brand new 2gb memory stick i open it up on my computer i dont get any root folders so bassicly i clicked PSP created a new folder called ISO and dragged this torrents ISO image to my psp(thats what some ppl told me to do) it still doesnt work some one please help

This game is great. INEEDHELP8, you need to research custom firmware.
To aviod slowing down, I suggest downloading yacc from psp hacks. This game slows down somewhat when using the filetype CSO. Decompress to ISO and you should be fine.

Hey
My GOW:COO keeps on getting stuck at the place where u have to go to Helios using the light thingy.It freezes where u get to the elevator(where you first broke the two metal pieces) and it just freezes right in front of the light where u have to press circle. I have m33 3.90-2 and im running with everything on default and the driver on Sony NP9660. Thanks in advance

verz, as mentioned in some of the comments, you should get a program to decompress this into ISO format to avoid the game slowing down at some points. A free decompressor is yacc. you can find it on psp hack dot com

I fixed my problem through updating to 3.90-3. The update to 3.90-3 fixes some things with the March33 umd iso loader. With the m33 on instead of the sony one it works great.

Hey becoz,
Check your hard drive for errors, there could bad sectors on the drive. Have windows automatically fix the errors, I'd suggest to backup your data asap. I'd the same issues with 2 hard drives and both failed a couple of days later.

The game freezes before the fight with persephone , i constantly keep switching between cso and iso of the game , each one of them plays some of the movies n then hangs somewhere , after that the other version is needed.
Anyone having the same problem? If so any suggestions?

Hey jbudda - PSP doesn't fully support cards bigger than 4GB as far as I know, prob why it works when you "put it first".

AWW MAN that explains a lot on why my games dont work or dont appear on my MS. Well is there anyway to fix God of War from freezing? because the game always freezes at the cutscene when kratos is climbing the mountain after beating the first boss and ive tried both iso and cso format and luck on getting past that part.

Ok To anyone still baffled as to how to run this game on the psp and without slow speed
1. Download ( duuhh)
2. Extract with winzip to anywhere on your computer
3. download psp cso to iso extractor ( search Google or copy the link..
http://n0t.org/psp-iso-compresser-v14.html)
4. Use the cso to iso uncompressor, extract to anywhere on your computer
5. Make sure you have downloaded a custom firmware above 4.01 ( dont know the
latest)
6. Copy to your psp drive called ISO which is supposed to be in the root of
the psp
7. Turn on your psp...slide the button on the side up until a green light
comes on, if it doesn't go charge the damn thing.
8. *SIGH* FINALLY enjoy the game...it should work, if anymore problems
occur....my bad but TOO BAD.

seed seed seed seed faster please at this rate no will get it for a year you are only seeding 1kb so if you could stop seeding other torents and just seed this we will all get it faster and help you seed it as well so please please seed a faster rate like 50kbs.
