And for mininovian - .pdb is indead for Palms; for viewing it on a PC you need a soft like iSilo.

I have cut and pasted advise given by someone else that I found helpful:

"pdb files were intended to be read on handheld devices made by palm;
pdb in this case stands for palm database.
iSilo is great for opening and reading pdb files on a Windows machine"

Hope this helps others.
