Disregard the last post. I just realized that I can use PowerISO to open the image file and obtain the cracks. Heh heh, maybe I should look before I leap, huh? Sorry for the inappropriateness of my bantering.

Yes i have the same proble, when i go 2 play it says the DVD-ROM cannot be found, this is the case both times when i use a virtual drive or after burning the image to a DVD disk and installing straight from a disk...
How do u use the image to play the game?

Ignore the last post i figured out that i haddnt copied the crack file sims.exe to the data folder.
Although i still have the problem with the Sims Creator, do u hav a cracked .exe file for it?

Excellent torrent. Game is working perfect.
What I did:
1. Downloaded torrent which is a .NRG file.
2. Downloaded PowerISO software; installed it.
3. Mounted the .NRG file and dragged all contents to a new folder on Desktop.
4. Installed game using serial number from file.
5. Went to folder where game was installed and replace Sims.exe, with the cracked version from the folder.
That's it.

Thanx dude works perfectly . I run into a bit of trouble at first where it kept loading the new places then i exited it and run in compatibility mode as admin and in sp2 mode. Thanx though it was fairly quick , cheers

I got The Sims 2 Complete (8.83GB - 300 Seeds) to work on VISTA no problem; however I've done everything said to get The Sims 2 work. Negative so far, still working.

I finally got this to download but can anyone help me out I cant get it to install or anything I am really having trouble with it. I need very basic help I am 8 months pregnant and want this to work while I do baby things... Can someone please HELP ME???

Ik heb de sims geinstallerd, maar ik kom niet verder als het begin hij begint steeds opnieuw te laden....wat doe ik verkeerd ? eerst laad hij beestenboel dan superstar en dan abracadabra en dan begint ie weer over nieuw !!!???!!!

I get the same problem as sopjexxx and I've discovered that Vista must be to blame. Does anyone know how to get this working on Vista, please?

i have vista...that's the problem some old and some new games doesn't always work on vista, this is not the first game i try'd to instal on vista !

please insert correct cdrom is message i get when trying to play game. have installed and used poweriso but it wont let me play the game. any ideas?

hi people, am running on vista and had the same problems when loading the neighbourhoods i've found that changing the whole file to NOT read only then running sims.exe as an administrator makes it work- this has also helped when running other old games in vista.
with message to insert the correct cd after extracting and installing the game replace the sim.exe file in program files/ maxis/ the sims (or wherever u installed to) with the version in the crack file of the extracted folder

hey i am running on vista too, and i have the same problem, i've tried what you said changing the file, i suposse the Maxis folder with all its subfolders to NOT READ ONLY, but as soon as i do it, it gets back to READ ONLY by itself.
Have the same problem, when i start the game, it appear some loading windows each for each expansion pack: unleashed, abracadabra, hot date, etc.
and when they all finish loading, after a few seconds they start loading again, not letting me to play
could somebody explain me step by step what to do in this case? please?

got the game to download no probs, but when i go to install it all i get is "unknown error occurred during setup, setup aborted" any help will b much appreciated. ps tried cleaning out my registery, and that didnt help

It took me a while to figure out what to do so thought i'd put it in simple steps to help others
1) Once the file is downloaded create 2 new folders on your desktop.
2) To extract the file you need a program that works with .isz files. I useda free WinMount trial which you can find by entering on google.
3) In the program, mount all files from the downloaded torrent file. Once extracted a folder should pop up. Copy all files from the folder to the first folder that you created.
4) When copied, open the folder and open the sub folder cracks. Then in WinMount(or whatever program you choose to use) mount the file The Sims Complete Collection 1.91 which is in the subfolder cracks(I had to first convert in to .RAR and then mount it) Another folder should pop up. Copy the 2 files from this to the 2nd folder you created.

Hi everytime i start instalation of the sims i get this error:
An installation support file 'C:\DOCUME~1\GIOIA\LOCALS~1\Temp\{F2527115-B8BF-4FDB-B5DA-5AADFB7C13E1}setup.inx could not be installed.
(it's dutch so i try to translate it) The system can not find the map you recrested. (something like that 
)
So anyone have advise for me??

I can't instal the game....

The thing is i have more then 10 GB free space and can't instal. I don't understand!
